Tar and Jack sat outside the medical bay on a bench. Jack had been slightly surprised when he saw the bench as he could swear that it hadn't been there before. Tar had just smirked at his confused face before sitting down at the bench, a moment later Jack sat down next to her. "So Jack, how did you meet Lilo, the Doctor and Rose?" Tar asked, wanting to focus on something else than the small operation Lilo was having.
"Actually, Rose was hanging from a barrage balloon more than a thousand feet above ground." Jack laughed. "Why would she do that? That's rather unwise to do…" Tar said confused. "I think it was an accident, Tar. Anyways, I rearranged her descent pattern with a tractor beam so that she didn't end up falling." Jack continued. "I should get a tractor beam, I don't think a have a tractor beam. I'll have the Doctor install one later." Tar nodded to herself. It could come in handy to have a tractor beam. That way if anyone was to fall out of the TARDIS or some other place she could save them.
Jack couldn't help but smile at the woman; she was definitely something different. "I met the Doctor and Lilo at an abandoned hospital. You know, he's rather protective of you. He said he couldn't wait to tell you about the adventure he was having." Jack smiled. He felt responsible for what had happened in the hospital after all it was his con that had brought them there and it had been his blaster that had caused the hole in the floor. He couldn't help but remember the event. Rose grabbing his blaster, yelling going down before the four of them fell down in a heap. He couldn't help but remember the way Lilo had been lying on the floor helpless and injured.
Tar looked down sadly. "So that's how it happened." She muttered. Jack cursed himself for letting her see that. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean for you to see that." Jack said guiltily. He ran his hand across his face. "I would have figured it out anyway" She smiled sadly. She was pretty sure that if she spent more than five minutes with Rose, she would see it anyway. "Where are you from Jack? I'm pretty sure you're not from the Second World War." Tar smiled wanting to think of something else. Jack laughed, "What gave me away?" he smirked. "It was the Chula spaceship." Tar smirked.
"I was born on Boeshane Peninsula in the 51st century," he told her. Tar looked on in intrigue, she knew about the planet. Human colonists lived there and it was a rather lovely planet. The humans living there lived a lot like humans in the 21st century. "Boeshane Peninsula? That is a lovely planet, I don't think the Doctor has been there yet." She smiled. "There are rather lovely beaches there. It is a shame it got invaded in the early 52nd century." She looked over to Jack and realised her mistake when he looked tearfully down at the floor. "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you." Mentally scolding herself for talking about the invasion of his home planet. Of course that would upset him.
