1 Thing before this author note... POKESHIPPING!

Yes this is pokeshipping week probs the reason why I even got movatided to write again and I got to say I feel a lot better about writing this story than I ever have before. So guys this will be the only author note here none at bottom this time so guys in the comments ask me questions about Misty Ash and even the two of them together to celebrate pokeshipping week and I will answer them in the next upload which I hope will be soon cause I'm going straight to writing it after this chapter.

Anyway onto the chapter

Ash POV

"Hey anybody home?" I shouted while running in the door to by house after coming back from Hoenn "Hoenn was fun and all but man am I happy to be home" I thought while closing the door behind me and dropping my bag beside the door, taking off my shoes while I did so

Just then Misty walked out from the kitchen

"Welcome home Ash it's been a long time huh, hi there Pikachu" she said casually, like it was the normal thing ever her being in my house. I mean yea sure she's been here before but that was with me and Brock, now she's here even before I got home and I don't even remember telling her I was coming back

"Yea, hi" I say awkwardly

"You're probably wondering why I'm here" she said and I nodded in conformation "Well..."

Before she can explain why she was here mom comes in with a smile on her face spotting me and running over to hug me

"Ash your back" She exclaimed tightening her grip around me cutting off the oxygen to my lungs.

I started to tap her on the back and she got the hint and let me go as I breathed in deep the wonderful thing called air.

"Good to see you too mom" I said to her after I just about caught my breath again.

"Now Ash dear" She said as she walked over to the door picking up my bag and getting the dirty clothes out to wash them 'Mothers intuition I guess' I thought wondering how she knew I had any. "You really need to call your dear ol' mum when you're out travelling the world more, I do worry ya know"

"Yea I know" I said feeling sorry "I just haven't had the time lately to sit down and call"

"I know, I know" she said sadly "anyway so how was your trip in Hoenn, was the food nice, were you eating nice, how many new friends did you make, did you remember to change your un..?"

"MOM!" I shouted stopping her before she could say it, my face turning red.

Just then Misty giggled from her position that she had took on sofa reminding me that she was even here and making my face burn even harder.

"Aw Ash" My mum said in a cooing baby voice "no need to get embarrassed in front of your girlfriend" she added teasingly

"You told her?" I blurted out turning around and facing Misty

As soon as I heard my Mum stop laughing and saw Misty's face going red with embarrassment I knew that I messed up

Silence. Silence. Silence... Then

I could have sworn that my eardrums burst as my mum let out a familiar scream. It was that of one that I had heard at many tournaments when the fan favourite walked out. It was that of a fan girl.

She ran over to Misty grabbed her hand and literally yanked her of the sofa, pulled me over as well and pulled us both into a hug while shouting out a million questions a minute

"When did this happen, how long have you two been dating, has Ash been treating you right" Just then I tapped her back and she realised us both panting for air.

After we had told her everything I went out to the porch and sat down at the steps in the cool evening air looking up at the sky.

I heard the door open after a while and someone sit down beside me. I didn't have to look down I knew it was Misty. Don't ask me how I just did. She took up a similar position beside me. We sat there in silence for a while watching as the sun got ever lower in the sky. It was Misty that eventually broke the silence.

"So girlfriend huh" she said suddenly which shocked me because of the silence beforehand

"I mean sure what else could you be" I said not looking at her, then realising my mistake blurted out "I mean only if you want to be"

She laughed a soft gentle laugh making me turn my head to look at her "You look cute when your frustrated" she said making me blush. Then getting back on topic she added "It's just that we've never really talked about what's going on between us"

"So you want to be a girlfriend?" I asked almost whispering.

"Only if you want to be my" She paused then said in a small sly voice looking down to the ground "boyfriend"

I pulled her into a hug and just nodded into her shoulder.

We went back to watching the sunset only this time with Misty cuddling up next to me and to tell you the truth, I've never seen a sunset so beautiful.
