Point of View: Athena

The second I entered the house, I heard screaming. Dropping everything I was carrying, I summoned by favored spear, charging into the place where the screaming came from. I had thought that some monster of someone invaded the house, and was attacking one of the kids. I should've known better.

"AAAHHHHHH! THE POOL PARTY IS TOMORROW! WHY AM I NOT DRESSED?! OH NO! WE DON'T HAVE ANY GOOD BIKINIS! NOOOOO!"

I glared at the love goddess. "It's only a pool party. A mortal pool party. One that won't really matter."

That was probably a mistake. Before, Aphrodite was yelling in all four directions. But now, her eyes landed on me. She shrieked, "WON'T REALLY MATTER? OF COURSE IT MATTERS! ITS A POOL PARTY! ONE THAT WE HAVE TO MAKE A GOOD IMPRESSION ON. WE GOTTA GO IN THERE, BE FASHIONABLE LATE, AND MAKE THEM GO WOW. AND MAKE THEM WORSHIP US! RESPECT US! AND"

"What's with the screaming?" Hera poked her head into Aphrodite's room.

Soon, everyone started piling in.

"THE POOL PARTY IS TOMORROW! WE GOTTA GO SHOPPING! FOR BIKINIS. FOR SUNGLASSES. FOR-"

"I'm not going!" Father tried to exit the room, only to get dragged into the room.

"NO! EVERYONE HERE IS GOING!"

"I'M THE GOD OF THE SKY, NOT WATER. I AM NOT STICKING A FOOT-"

SLAP!

"Ok," Aphrodite said, as if she never screamed, and as if she didn't slap anyone. "We," she pointed to to each one of us. "Are going to go shopping right now. Shopping for clothes. Shopping for decent clothes for the party tomorrow. And we will be shopping in Times Square and Herald Square."

Annabeth frowned. "But I have a lot of homework. Today-"

"No excuses! Otherwise, I will scream the house down! And none of us are sleeping! And- HEY! I'M NOT DONE TALKING YET! WHERE ARE YOU DRAGGING ME?!"

"To the cars," Artemis said calmly, and I followed her, hoping to get everything done as soon as possible.

"We don't have to all go," I tried to reason with love goddess, as soon as Artemis paused at the fountain. "Only some of us. We know everyone's sizes."

She considered this for a while. "Hmmm..." She suddenly clicked her fingers. "You're right. None of the boys have to go. All the girls have to go though! Boys only need towels and swimming trucks. And almost everyone here are couples! You're brilliant! That way, the guys could all cook!"

"Wait! That isn't what I meant!"

I sighed, and looked at Artemis. "We couldn't find a way out, could we?"

She gave me a are you ******* kidding me look. "She wasn't joking when she said she'll scream this place down. And I've got better things to do than spending the entire evening shopping or listening to her scream her head off."

"You're right. Ok, there's 11 girls here. You, me, mother, Hera, Aphrodite, Demeter, Clarisse, Annabeth, Piper, Katie, and Hazel. So we only have to take 4 cars. That should be enough. I'll hope that we will only take at most two hours to buy everything. Oh look, they're here!"

Artemis and I turned around, watching a group of upset girls and one overly excited girl make our ways towards us.

"Let's all get into four cars and try to take at most two hours there." When the others nodded, I turned to Aphrodite. "Do the boys know that they're cooking?"

"YES! And I got a list of their sizes! Let's go!"

Grudgingly, we went into four different cars.

Hazel, Piper, and Annabeth crawled into Hazel's Koenigsegg Agera S. Katie, Demeter, Hera and Clarisse got into Katie's Bentley Mulsanne. Artemis, Aphrodite, Mother and I jumped into Annabeth's Ferrari. We all drove to Uniqlo first to get swimming trunks for the guys, since it was easier. We ended up getting a different one for each of the. Father's had thunderbolt prints. Poseidon's had turtles, and Hades had skulls. Ares got one that was all black, while Hephaestus had a tiger and fire. Dionysus had grapes and Hermes got ones with wings. Apollo got bow and arrows. As for the demigods, theirs was quite simple. Most had one solid color, except a few. Annabeth found one with waves on it for Percy, and Frank got one that looked like had the US Patriot Tactical design. This only took 15 minutes.

But for us, it took forever. I had anticipated 2 hours max, but it took us 3 hours there. Aphrodite would hold up one, shake her head, and then hold up another one. My patience started wearing thin. Artemis exploded after an hour.

And the sight we saw at the mansion just fueled my anger.

AN: It has been a long time, hasn't it? I can't believe I'm a junior already.
