Notes: Reposting as I forgot to write the rest of the last chapter

Mikey stared at Casey in Shock. "You know me?" He asked.

"Aren't you Raphael Hamato's kid brother? He talked about how you like to explore. Since you mentioned Raphael, I figured you must be him. You kinda look like him."

"Oh. Yeah I am." Mikey said trying not to sound too dejected. "Why are you down here?" He asked instead.

"I like to explore too." Casey said with a shrug. "You never know what you'll find down here."

"Maybe a giant rat and some teenage turtles." Mikey said.

Casey just laughed. "It'd be better than alligators."

Leatherhead. Mikey thought. He wondered if his old friend was down here. Probably not. Nothing was quite as he remembered it. Or really not at all.

Mikey let himself back into his home later that afternoon. He was glad he had had his wallet to know where he lived. He found Donatello standing in the kitchen making something.

"Hey."

"Thought you were sick," Donnie said without looking up from the sandwich he was making.

"I needed some fresh air." He said. He couldn't tell Donnie that he had gone looking for a sewer home that he wouldn't know about. He headed towards what he thought were bedrooms. He hadn't really been paying attention when he left earlier.

"I put your homework on your bed.

"Thanks," he called as he looked through a door and saw Klunk lying curled up against textbooks. He figured it was his room. he was glad to see he was right when he saw his action figures.

He moved the cat away and grabbed his math book. It had a sticky note saying what his homework was. He opened the book to the page and looked at the math problems. He was surprised to see that these were easy. He worked on his homework for awhile when he heard someone at his door. He looked up to see Raphael standing there.

"Hey Leo's ditching me for a date with Karai. You want to go to the Rangers game?"

Mikey stared at him blankly. "Who me?" he asked.

"No, Klunk. You wanna go or not?"

Mikey shoved the homework aside. He was thrilled with the idea of going to a hockey game. He hadn't been able to before as it was impossible to sneak in to a game when you were a turtle. "Yeah. Wait did you say Leo had a date with Karai?"

Raph snorted. "When doesn't he?"

Mikey frowned as he left the room. He and his brothers were humans, April was his mother, Splinter was his father, Casey apparently liked hanging out in sewers, and now he heard Leo was dating Karai? What kind of world was this?

"Thank you, April," Splinter said as he took the tea that she offered him. When they were returned, they had called April and Casey who came and picked them up. They had gone to Casey's grandfather's house in the country. Casey said that would be a good place to bury Mikey.

"So, what happened?" April asked as she sat down next to him. It had been a relatively quiet on the way to the farm. No one seemed to want to talk.

Leonardo who had been looking out the window slowly turned to face her. They were all still very sore. Raphael could barely move. "Shredder electrocuted Mikey."

Splinter winced. His son could have a very abrupt way of stating things much like Raphael did. He looked at Raphael and saw that he was lying flat on a couch.

"He was hit with wires and had a gran mal seizure later." Splinter filled in. he closed his eyes momentarily as he remembered what had happened in those final moments on the spaceship.

"Mikey!" Leo yelled while he watched his brother fall to the ground unconscious. He was then intercepted by Karai who tried to convince him that Shredder was just trying to leave. He caught Karai as she flipped but she ended up stabbing him. He too fell to the ground after Shredder hit him from behind.

Raphael next went after Karai and fought her and the Shredder. They also fell at the hands of the Shredder.

Splinter checked on Mikey who hadn't moved since being hit with the wires. He could only watch as Shredder started to strike Karai.

"How's Mikey," Leo asked as he got up.

"Not good," Splinter answered as he touched Mikey's forehead. The turtle was feeling colder if at all possible.

They then made the tough decision to destroy everything. They knew that Mikey would have been in agreement on this.

Splinter held his unconscious son tightly as the ship exploded.

Before the ship exploded, they were teleported away.

When it all ended, they found themselves in the infirmary.

"I have failed you," Leo said going over to Splinter. He was still in a lot of pain so it was a slow walk. "I should have…"

"There was nothing you could have done to prevent this."

"We shouldn't have left Mikey alone," Raph said and then winced. "We could have maybe done something. They wouldn't have known what to do. We don't even know if they didn't just let him die."

"I'm sure they didn't my son."

"So what now?" Donatello asked.

"Now we recover."
