Part of my Birthday Story Extravaganza. I'll put the link up to the BSE stories in a whole on my profile if you give me a little time.
This, for those of you who read the author's note, is literally, an authors note. Specifically, the authors note to the Journals in Gravity Falls. It's tucked between the front cover and the first page.
ENJOY!
If you're reading this, I'll apologize in advance for what you are experiencing, will experience, or have already experienced. If you're reading this, you know about the supernatural occurrences in a little town in Oregon called Gravity Falls, or you will soon. That means, of course, if you lay eyes on this book, you'll need to read every page from this first one to the very last. I also apologize if you don't like reading, but you'll have to do an awful lot of it in the upcoming months, maybe even years, if you are keen on keeping your life.
I don't mean to sound morbid, but it is the sad truth. Gravity Falls is a small town near a large forest, and within the forest there is the largest gathering of supernatural creatures, objects, and other wonders that I have ever come across in my lifespan. When I came across Gravity Falls, I started a journal to keep track of every supernatural creature I'd seen so far, so if I came across it again, I'd know how to keep myself from nearing the brink of death yet again.
This pre-mentioned journal is what you are currently holding in your own two hands, and I ask you to please treat it with the utmost respect. These three journals are my life's work, and they together document all of my knowledge about every strange thing, supernatural or not, in Gravity Falls.
I mean to congratulate you on finding the first journal. Perhaps you have already seen, or at least heard of, the other two. Perhaps not. This matters not, as this letter is intended to be a warning to any who have touched any of my journals, including the first, of which you should be currently holding. This journal is full of valuable, but dangerous information, so treat it carefully.
The unfortunate downside to sending my journals out to be found, and to hope that people who need help will find them and use them to their advantage, and ultimately for good purposes, is that they can call into the wrong hands just as easily as the right hands. I've hidden each so only potentially curious or daring people can find them, but curiosity and daring traits can be held by both good and bad meaning people.
A warning for you is to be wary of anybody that goes with the surname Gleeful. Dangerous bunch, though I don't trust you, reader, enough to list exactly why, because I have no idea if you yourself are good of mind and pure of heart, or twisted, with darkness inside.
I have little left to say that you will not read in the pages of this journal, and journals past this. So I bid you, go forth, dear reader, and learn the secrets of the ever-mysterious Gravity Falls.
Hmm, I wonder what those bolded, underlines letters spell out when put together? Certainly not a secret message. I hope you liked this, review with a Happy Birthday and get eternal love! UNTIL NEXT TIME!
