Hello everyone! Please read this!

It has most certainly been a while since most of you had heard from me or this story. I can't believe its been over 4 years since Capet had a new chapter and I cannot express how sorry I am for abandoning you guys and your characters for so long. And for posted an AN instead of another chapter, but some things needed to be said. I know it's probably been years since the original OC creators even thought about this story (Hi to any new people reading this). I'm sorry for becoming another one of those syoc authors who leaves their work unfinished. That was never my intention.

With that in mind, I am still just as devoted to this story as I was 4 years ago and nothing would make me happier then to provide those still interested and their characters with a completed story arc. I still love my plot for this story and all of your characters so much.

For anyone who may not have noticed, chapters 2-4 have pretty much been completely re-written. After 4 years of hiatus a lot has changed with my writing and storytelling style and I just wasn't proud of the work I posted years ago. I couldn't see myself continuing Capet on the back of work that now just sounded juvenile and poorly planned. So I went back and completely re-wrote the first 4 chapters.

I've also deleted chapters 5-9. With all the improvements I made in chaps 2-4 and how drastically the story timeline is changing, chapters 5-9 just no longer fit- the timeline nor the characters. When I started writing this story in my sophomore year of high school I didn't really understand people and that really hurt my ability to tell a story. Now a senior in college, I have a much better understanding of writing and life in general that has really changed the way I write characters- still not perfect, but who is?

I'm currently in the process of writing chapter 5/6 and would love to have you guys back along for the ride. I completely understand if some of you aren't interested and I respect that. But for those of you that are, I would love to hear from you all and get your input on the new 2-4 chaps and just catch up.

I hope to have chapter 5/6 uploaded by the end of the month. I'm currently applying for graduate school and still taking some undergrad courses so that is my main priority, but I really hope to have these chapters done soon.
