Chapter 9: The Element of Generosity!
Once clear of the forest; the group of ponies found themself at a raging river.
"Now; how in the hay seed are we goin' to get past this?" Apple Jack asks, Harry looks around as does Twilight; a silent cry is heard from below the waves. The rest of the pnies walk forward and from the depths of the river before them a giant serpent with fabulous hair breaks through with a loud cry.
"Oh my mustache, my glorious and beutious mustache GONE!" the serpent shout out; his tail striking and stirring up the water making the route impassable.
"Excuse me sir?" Harry asks, making the serpent turn and stare at him.
"Oh, I can not be looked at; not while my mustache is gone. Please leave." the serpent says breaking out into tears.
"Your causing all this problems because of your mustache?" Rainbow Dash asks.
"Can you not see how glorious I am? Or how I was." the serpent says thrashing the water once more.
"I can." Rarity says simply stepping out from behind the group.
"You can?" the serpent asks.
"Well of course, look at your scales." Rarity says.
"I know, I know. Like diamond's they are." the serpent says showing of his glowing scales.
"That beautiful tail, how smooth it must be." Rarity adds.
"It is, it is; I love my tail and it loves me." the serpent says; it's tail wrapping around himself.
"That wondrous hair. Oh how it bounces." Rarity says; the serpent lowers himself to her level.
"I know, I know." the serpent says looking Rarity in her eyes.
"And all of your looks ruined by your lack of your mustach." Rarity says simply.
"Oh... You know my pain, how can I be a serpent of luxury with out my mustache?" the serpent asks.
"You can't all your looks are ruined by your mustache." Rarity says picking up a scale from the river's edge.
"You know my torture, you know I can't be seen with out my mustache." the serpent says
"Yeah." Rarity says simply taking the scale in her magic and with one swift motion Rarity had cut her tail off.
"Darling; your tail." Apple Jack says.
"This is more important." Rarity says taking her tail in her magic and with a simple spell tie it to the serpent's face.
"Oh merci my little pony, you gave me back my mustache; How can Henri help you?" the serpent now know as Henri says.
"Can you help us across?" Rarity asks.
"Oh, of course." Henri says stretching himself across to be used as a bridge.
"Thank you Henri." Rarity says.
-LINE BREAK-
"Thanks again Henri." Harry says bwoing to the serpent.
"No bother my little ponies; be safe looking for your.. how you say éléments oui?" Henri asks.
"Yes my friend." Rarity says watching Henri duck back under the river.
"That was really brave." Twilight says.
"No just being generous, do tail's grow back?" Rarity asks walking ahead with the rest of the ponies; as overhead a chariot speeds past carrying Night-Mare Moon.
