A minimalist story written for my english class, but hey, I wrote it while imagining Sasori and Deidara. If you don't know what a minimalist story is, I suggest you google it and then read. That way it won't seem so odd or lacking.

The sun outside was shining brilliantly. Soft clouds rode the waves of wind. It was as peaceful as any other day. Although it was serene, it was never quiet.

For young men were settled in a shared kitchen. Two of which who were there as visitors.

Why do you make life so difficult? the first man complained.

The second man furrowed his brows, Is it really me who is the problem, yeah? Is it really me?

Of course it's you! the first man stated as he grabbed a cup of coffee. You're such an annoyance that I can't even think straight.

The two other men at the table looked at each other quietly.

I'm annoying? You're the one who has their head stuck up their arse. I can't think of anyone who could be as stuck up and arrogant as you! the second man said as he crossed his arms.

The mug the first man had been clenching flew through the air and crashed against the wall.

At the crash, the two background men stood and excused themselves from the area leaving the two friends alone.

You have no right to say that. Take it back.

Take it back. Take it back, he says, yeah!

The first man reached out to the other with a closed fist.

The second man was quick to step back. And you said I was the problem! You drove our friends away. Obviously it is you who is the problem. Obviously it is you!

It could have been your annoying way speaking that sent them away. Who talks in such a manner? the first man replied.

If I'm so annoying then why did you even bother to invite me to stay with you?

I was obviously not thinking clearly at the time, the first man stated.

The second man left the kitchen with haste.

The first man stayed put and watched outside the window.

The sun was still shining and the clouds had cleared away. A perfect blue sky was painted across. Birds chirped, cars drove by, and people chattered. It was never quiet.

The front door opened and wheels clacked against the tiled entrance.

What are you doing? the first man asked noticing the second man. Why do you have your bags?

I'm departing, yeah.

The first man stopped at the archway of the kitchen. Oh, good. Make sure to take your annoyance with you.

The second man rubbed his eye, yeah, yeah.

The front door closed with a click and the second man was gone.

The mess on the floor beside the first man seeped deep into the creases of the floor, staining it permanently.

Good riddance, the first man said as he returned to his business.

The new day started the same as before, but somehow it was different. The sun was bright and the sky was blue.

The first man was in his kitchen enjoying breakfast alone.

As he watched the time, he waited. Waited for some kind of disturbance that usually happened, but nothing came.

Not a single sound emitted.

The first man ceased his usual morning ritual and stared out the window.

It was never quiet.

It had never been quiet.

But now it was so.
