Chapter 5

*walking through the woods; roughly 5.8 miles from the Hidden Leaf*

Standing side by side Kirito and Kakashi walk towards their destination. A smile on both their faces they spend the time enjoying the scenery.

"Kirito"

"Hmmm whats up Kakashi?" Kirito questioned

"I'm curious...what did you do to the Raikage?"

"Ahhh you mean my latest jutsu...well basically the jutsu is a sort of magnet."

"When the Raikage initiated his lightning release jutsu to defend against my blade the bare maximum I could do was do small slits. If I only relied on sword play I wouldn't have stood a chance.

"This jutsu concentrated my chakra on the tip of my blade and acts as a electrical current metal rod that when I cut him...even if It was only a small cut it would attract his lightning release energy through those slits and damage him from within."

"His ultimate shield can also be his ultimate downfall since no matter how much you train you can't improve your insides. Its a similar effect to what the hyugas refer to their gentle fist techniques only mine isn't a kekkei genkai."

"Hmm..that's interesting but tell me kirito wouldn't this jutsu be limited since you said it yourself it's has a magnet effect when it comes to lightning release...what about all other elements involved?"

"Well to put it bluntly kakashi it wouldn't really have any effect." "This one I designed it for people like the Raikage as such its an ace in the hole encase of fight against that type."

As they were nearing the end of their conversation a darkening effect shadowed the entire area around them.

With In seconds everything was frozen in place except Kirito himself.

"Damn not this again."

-"Choose your path Kirito." then with in seconds two pathways appeared.

Highlighting the path kirito analyzed which one he should choose.

"The first path states I should head to the sand village to investigate a little boy who manipulates sand."

"While the other says go to the hidden leaf to investigate an Uchiha incident."

"Damn these two paths are inconsistent." "One sounds extremely suspicious while the other also sounds like a potential for extreme damage."

"Guess I have no choice."

-Selection Chosen-

Then the veil that covered the entire vicinity began to disperse.

"So kirito shall we celebrate our little victory when we get back?" "Interested in getting some steak?"

"Sure but first I gotta check in with the old man and then see how the hyuga clan is doing."

"Do you really have to call Lord Hokage that? With a small huff in his tone.

Anyway kirito catch you later I'm gonna go see how Kushina and little Naruto are doing."

"Alright Kakashi and watch those villagers... too especially the ones who try touching him."

"Lately when Kushina is away on a mission those pricks try to take their frustrations out on him."

"I don't know why Naruto hasn't mentioned anything to kushina but lately some have escalated to the point where I had to step in and do some serious damage control."

"So after this mission I'm gonna step aside and spend some time with them." "In the meantime keep him safe and make sure Kushina doesn't find out...god knows what she would do if she were to find out. If she hasn't already"

Both pale when they imagine a monstrosity with scarlet hair strangling people with it.

"Do you really have too put that thought in my head kirito?"

kakashi slouched over with a suggestion of exhaustion.

"My bad...ahahahaha." "Any way catch you later and with that kirito vanished.

Pulls in a window. "Hey old man I'm back from the lightning village."

"Hello kirito...it's good to see you back." The third hokage sitting down with a look of melancholy.

"Hey old man whats wrong? You look as if someone died."

Then kirito realized the head of the hyuga clan was right next to him.

"Ohh it's you Hirashi..listen you don't need to worry about the Raikage..I already took...care of it."

A look of disdain on his face Hiashi spoke. "Thank you kirito I just wish had you arrived...sooner."

"What the hell does that mean? What's going on?"

"Kirito...I'm sorry we thought your plan wasn't going to work...so I was prepared to die and have my body sent to the village in the clouds."

"Okay but your still here so what of it?

"But before I could my brother Hizashi committed suicide...hoping to take my place since we are twins..and preventing them from having the secrets of the byakugan."

Within seconds kirito struck him in the face across the room.

"Damn it I do all of this for you and now look what happened. If you had actually trusted me maybe this wouldn't have happened!?"

*Slamming the door behind him*

"That boy feels the most pain when it comes to these things. I've never seen anyone with that kind of heart"

"Lord Hokage..."

"It's alright hiashi. Attend to what you must...I'm sure your clan needs you...and I'm sorry about kirito."

On the rooftop of the near by food district kirito is seen sitting down watching all the citizens as they enjoy there time with friends and loved ones.

"Man after all the time I've been here I feel like they still don't trust me."

"It's not that we don't trust you kirito its that sometimes things don't go as planned."

"Ohh hey old man." "Didn't think you'd leave your office just to speak with me."

"Listen kirito for all its worth I'm sorry that we couldn't have a better outcome with hizashi. But I came here to thank you for doing what you did."

"I know old man...I just wish I could have been able to resolve this with no blood shed."

"Now someone is gonna grow up without their father."

Rising up kirito stares at the Third Hokage

"Hiruzen...listen I feel something going on in the village and I'm gonna need your help on it."

"I know about the situation with the Uchiha clan and the mistrust the village has due to what happened that night..with minato."

"Don't worry I will fix this mess but let me handle the situation and I hope you have my back."

"Especially since I know about Danzo...hiruzen."

"I am aware kirito...and in this world those who know too much can be dangerous. Remember just as you know about him he may also know about you...be careful."

In a flash he vanished.

"Guess that was his warning...I'm gonna have to be careful when I confront him."

slouched over on top of a roof kirito stares into the near by training grounds that seems to be empty.

"First I'm gonna have to deal with his two goons."

Two shadows approach kirito on the rooftop.

Standing up he slouches in disinterest.

"You two idiots better leave...

(instantly grabbing one blade from his side) before I get serious."

"hehehehe...don't assume we don't know how you fight...(both pull out kunai)"

"Guess I have no choice." (walking slowly with his blade) "I'll have to kick your ass and then have Inoichi take a look at your memories."

"JUST TRY US YOU OUTSIDER SCUM!" As they both approached kirito pulled out his second blade catching both kunai strikes with ease.

"You just had to get me serious." as he made his voice heard kirito began to harness the chakra into his blade.

Both blades forming a bright and powerful burst of pure blue..

As the light was enveloping both ninja they could not realize what had just occurred.

Kirito was 10 feet behind them...holding both blades side be side as he spoke four words.

"Starburst stream..Twin strike." as waves of energy dissipated from the floor around them

as both shinobi fell before they could even comprehend how fast they were defeated by his hands.

"Seems to me that Danzo thinks I'm a push over or is trying to analyze ways to counter me."

As he is stepping towards the two fallen ninja kirito contemplates his next move.

"I know one thing if things keep going this way then it will lead to problems.

Clearing his thoughts

"Guys like him don't stop till they get more power" "Guess I'll need to call for back up"

-Logging Off-

As he removes his headgear kirito stares at his cell phone. Selecting his contacts he starts to make a phone call.

Ringing Ringing

"Hey Kirito whats up? Speaks a female voice through the cell phone.

"Asuna listen...I need you and everyone's help...meet me in Alfheim soon"

Writer's Note: Hiatus sucked so much. Felt like I was doing the hunter x hunter shit. I'm Back and ready to write and finish up all of my stories.
