I COULDN'T RESIST. I HAD TO.

I RECEIVED MANY GREAT COMMENTS REGARDING WHETHER OR NOT I OUGHT TO DO AN EPILOGUE, AND I GOT SOME GREAT IDEAS FOR A BRIEF ONE, MOSTLY PEOPLE WANTING TO KNOW ABOUT "WILLIAM" AND LILLY. AND ALSO, SINCE THIS STORY HAD A PROLOGUE, WELL... SEEMED NATURAL.

SO HERE WE GO, BRIEF EPILOGUE OF THE FUTURE OF THE PRETTY LILLY JONES… AND CLOSING THIS BABY DOWN, THIS TIME FOR GOOD. ENJOY, AND THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE ONGOING SUPPORT AND LOVE THIS STORY GOT FROM ALL OF YOU!

She grew up to be ten times the beauty her mother was and ten times the cunning wits of her father. The childlike curls had slowly softened over the years to grow into a head of thick, heavy, raven black hair that contrasted the infinite blue of her eyes.

And like Emma had foreseen, as soon as she was old enough to think of her own appearance, Lilly Jones tweezed her gorgeously thick eyebrows into a long, beautiful pair of winged lines over her huge, expressive eyes.

She did have Emma's smile, for sure, and that was the one thing that she had from her mom.

And her dimpled chin.

"So…" The now visibly older Captain twisted his lip to a side as he carved his meat on the dinner table." William, is it?"

"Yes, sir… erhm… C… Captain." The smiling twenty one year old young guy replied, holding the Captain's precious Lilly's hand over the table.

"What is it you do for a living, then?"

Killian Jones raised a questioning brow at the young man. The completely gray head of hair and now fully grown grey beard made the older Killian quite an impressive figure… and the fact that he was a sea captain, well…

William Turner gulped.

"I… I'm a blacksmith." He grinned

Emma stifled a giggle as she took a sip from her cup. She remembered hearing that line before.

"A… blacksmith?"

"Yes, captain… just south of Storybrooke, near the town line?"

Emma shook her head. "The constant influx of story and movie characters that come to life in this town never ceases to surprise me…" She turned to look at him. "You are familiar with Elizabeth Swann?"

The young man perked up. "You know her?"

"Do you?" Killian bit back.

Lilly stepped in. "Yes, dad. I know Liz as well, we're classmates."

William shrugged. "She's a cousin of mine." He turned to look at Hook with a cheeky smirk. "Movies… they do us no justice, do they, Captain?"

Killian clenched his jaw; for a brief instant, he wondered what Dave might have had to think about to abstain from punching his own face in when he was wooing (or trying to woo) Emma.

"So, you are a smithy then, lad."

"Yes sir…"

"It's a family business…" Lilly smiled, her huge blue eyes sparkling as she wrapped an arm around William's elbow. "He and his father did all the welding for Regina's castle."

"Impressive." Hook replied coldly.

Emma smiled and wrapped her hand around Killian's as she turned to Will. "Never mind the Captain, Will, must be the veal… it was a bit overcooked for his taste." She sighed. "So, what time are you kids coming home?"

"As soon as the movie is over, we're going for dinner…" Lilly turned to Will smiling, and placed a kiss on his cheek.

Killian cleared his throat. "Aye… love. And we will be here. Waiting." He nodded with a tight lipped grin.

Lilly rolled her eyes.

Will stood up, a mild grin on his lips as he wiped his lips. "The veal was perfect Mrs. Jones…." He bowed gently.

"Call me Emma, please." Emma stood, reaching out to shake his hand. "Nice to meet you, Will."

"My pleasure… Emma." He turned to offer Hook his hand. "Mr. Jones, thank you for your hospitality."

"You may call me Captain." Killian hissed through a smile, as he shook Will's hand. Tight.

"Killian!" Emma nudged him.

"Daddy!" Lilly frowned at him.

Will chuckled and nodded. "Don't worry, Lilly; he's a father, he's doing what dads are supposed to do."

"Be irrationally jealous?" Lilly shook her head.

"There is nothing irrational about my behavior, my love." He shrugged at his daughter. "Merely concerned for my daughter's welfare."

"I can assure you… captain… your daughter couldn't be in better hands." Will smiled kindly as he led the pretty young Jones girl.

"That's what I'm worried about, you have two of those…"

Emma smirked. "Come on, Killian, you had one hand and that didn't stop you from…"

"OKAAAYYY, we're going now!" Lilly smiled as she pulled her boyfriend's arm. "We have tickets, Will…"

"Yes, of course…"

Emma smiled and followed them to the door. "You kids have fun!" She kissed her daughter. "Not cold?"

"I'm fine, mom."

Killian joined them. "Are you sure you don't want me to drive you?"

"Dad! Bye!"

Killian's face fell as Lilly shut the door behind them.

Emma truned, her lips pressed hard. "Killian, really…"

"Emma, you DO know that the Turners have a long history of piracy in their family, don't you?" He shook his head. "I mean, that's our daughter, don't you even feel the slightest bit concerned?"

She sighed and wrapped her arm around his waist. "Nnnnope. I fell in love with a pirate. He turned out to be pretty damn good."

Killian smiled. "Aye, well… I am the exceptional case that defines the rule, Swan."

"Relax, Killian, he looks like a good guy."

"You and your superpower?"

"Yep."

Killian nodded. "Aye… you're right love, it's just…. She…"

"Look, I get it. She was the one that started all of this crazy thing we call family and you are feeling sentimental that she's found a guy all her own."

"I'm not senti…"

"Yes you are, you're the worst and don't even try denying it at this point, Hook." Emma giggled. "I mean, she was but a baby a blink of an eye ago…"

"Swan…" He gulped.

"Suddenly here she is, all grown up, magnificently beautiful, and bound to leave us any day, just like Henry and Heather, and …"

"Swan!" He turned to her with a choked sob. "Why do you? Why?"

She laughed and bit her lower lip. "Because I love that side of you. You old softie…"

Killian laughed, blinking back the tears that formed in his crinkled eyes. "Old is the word."

Emma sighed and caressed the side of his face. His hair had greyed entirely and his eyes, all the wiser, had formed grooves that now reached his cheeks. The smart glint in the infinite blue of his irises remained, however, and that was bound to stay there probably till his dying day.

And he was still devilishly handsome, as far as she was concerned… and himself as well.

"Yeah, well, I'm no better for the wear, there, captain."

"You are and always will be magnificently beautiful savior." He grinned back. "I'm sorry, love. I just… I hate the fact that they have to leave, that's all."

"Hmmm…" Emma pressed her head against his chest, feeling him wrap his arms around her. "You know, ever since mom died, I… can't help but wonder what I will do or what you will do when you go."

"Don't be daft." He kissed her head. "We still have quite a way to go."

"I miss her."

"I know, darling, as do I, and your father, but he's still there. My father went six months ago, swan, I know your predicament, but I'm sure they linger in the stars somewhere and will be there for us when we go…"

Emma's eyes watered. "You're doing this on purpose, pirate!" she chuckled through her tears.

He pulled away and stared at Emma's older, slighting wrinkled face. "Aye… because like you, I like the way your eyes shine when they have tears held within… Like two stars, they are…"

She laughed. "Corny old bastard."

He smiled and held her again, gently swaying from side to side, standing in the warmth of their home while the snow covered Storybrooke's streets.

"I really do believe we should sell this house now, Swan…" He whispered into her hair. "Go back to the old flat my father kept till he passed. Tis just us and the boys and they too are sixteen, soon they'll start finding lasses all their own and then it will just be us." He sighed. "I understand why my father didn't want to live here now…"

"Well we can move, but why sell it?" Emma spoke into his chest. "Henry's baby is due next month and Heather's getting married in a week…"

"Grandparents… Bloody hell…" Killian cocked his head back, eyes closed. "When did all this happeeeeen!?"

"Once Upon a Time in Storybrooke, pirate."

He nodded, nostalgic eyes gazing out the iced window. He suddenly stared and Emma followed his gaze as something appeared on the frosty glass.

A heart. And words were4 appearing magically inside the heart.

You're still my number one hero, daddy. Love, Lilly.

He heaved and collapsed on the couch sobbing.

Emma grinned and sat beside him, rubbing his back. "Mine too, you know…"

"No Swan, your father's yours… I'm…"

"The love of my life?" She pulled his face up. "You mushy old man."

He shrugged and grinned, blushing slightly as the bad-ass pirate allowed happy and emotional tears flowed down his cheeks.

"You're right Swan, I always was the sentimental type."

"Denial got you nowhere, Jones."

"It did. It got me to you. If I hadn't been a hard hearted bastard I'd have never survived this long to meet you…"

"Nope. You're a pile of mush, and I love you for it." She rubbed his arm. "Come on, pirate. Let's hit the sack."

"No…" He sat back and crossed his arms. "I'm waiting here for Lilly to come back from her date."

Emma laughed aloud. "Ok, fiiiine." She pulled a blanket and sat beside him on their old couch. "I'll wait right here with you." She leaned into his shoulder. "You are more of a Charming than you think."

He nodded and placed his arm around his wife with a sigh. "I suppose I understand old Dave now…"

"Old… he's my dad and he's STILL nowhere as old as you are, old timer…"

He huffed. "We're back to that, are we?"

She kissed his cheek. "I love you, anyway."

When Lilly returned from her date, both her mother and father were sound asleep, the faint glow of the television shining on their faces.

She smiled and with a brief nod, she poofed them to their bed. She then found her way into her room and closed the door with a lovesick sigh. She could hear her younger twin brothers muttering silently under their breaths, giggling, chatting and then… silence.

This was the best family she could have ever asked to be born under. Her mother was a savior, her father a redempted hero… and she was the world's most powerful sorceress, in this and every realm. A blue-blooded princess with a pirate's heart.

It was time for her to make her own story.

THE END (for real)
