Chapter 10
Olivia woke up to the sound of her phone, she opened her eyes and realized that she was still laying on top of Elliot and he was still inside her. She smiled and tried to move but Elliot wrapped his arms tighter around her.
"Not so fast pretty lady, we have a lot of time to make up for." He said without opening his eyes. Meanwhile the phone stopped ringing.
"I know babe I want to stay here too but it might be Alex or Casey, they have Frankie for hours now they should bring her back." Liv answered and raised her head to look at him.
"Well if you put it that way.." Elliot opened his eyes and looked down to her "I still can't believe that you're back and I have you here again and we have a daughter. God Liv this is so…"
"Crazy?" she asked.
"Wonderful!" Elliot said smiling at her. She pulled herself up a little and kissed him sweetly on the lips. "I've always dreamed of this, us, with a baby. A family! I love you Liv."
"I love you too Elliot, more than you can imagine." They stared at each other for a minute and then Olivia got off of him with a gasp leaving her lips as she felt the emptiness between her legs. "I hate that feeling." She said as she got up still naked making her way to the bathroom.
"Me too beautiful but I love the view." Elliot said with a smirk on his face as he watched her perfect naked body walking towards the bathroom. Olivia laughed and through a towel at him.
"I'm gonna take a shower. Please call Alex." She said and closed the door.
He call Alex and after a while she arrived with Casey to drop Frankie off. Elliot opened the door, shirtless
"Daddyyyyy!" Frankie cheered and run on Elliot as he opened the door. Elliot picked her up and rested her on his hip.
"Hey baby girl." He smiled at her and gave her a hug. "Hey Alex, Casey! Come on in you two."
"Hello Elliot." They both said.
"Em where is Olivia?" Casey asked.
"She is taking a shower. Please have a sit, she'll be right out."
Alex and Casey waked in looking at Elliot with smirks on their faces. He noticed and asked. "What's going on?"
"You tell us lover boy. Why are you shirtless?" Alex said.
"And why you have marks all over your chest?" Casey continued
Elliot looked down at himself and then back at them.
"Oh… em well… you know… I was… and Liv…. Em" he didn't really know what to say.
Alex and Casey burst into laughter and Elliot blushed leaving a confused Frankie looking at them. At that moment Olivia walked in.
"Hey girls." Olivia said with a huge smile on her face. She couldn't hide from her friends the best think that has ever happened to her after Frankie.
"Hey, you look smitten Liv." Casey giggled
"Well maybe I am." She said with a smirk and Elliot blushed a little more.
"Mommy…" Frankie started asking "what is switten?"
They all giggled. "I'll tell you some other time buggy."
"Now Frankie…" El started "Let's go see what's going on in the room of yours and then bath time."
"Ok daddy." Elliot smiled at the ladies, Frankie said bye to her aunts and they went inside.
Once El and Frankie went inside Alex and Casey pulled Olivia to the living room and sat her down and they
"Spill it Oliva, what happen with Elliot?" Alex asked
"You did it, didn't you?" Casey continued
"Was it good?" Alex carried on
"Is he big?" Casey asked again
"Wow, wow slow down girl." Olivia said and laughed a little "and to answer your questions, yes, yes and God yes! But that's all you're getting so stop asking."
Alex and Casey looked disappointed, they whispered an "ok" and stopped asking
"How was Frankie today? I hope she didn't wore you out." Liv asked changing the subject
"Oh she was a complete angel." Alex said with a smile.
"We better get going, I have a huge case tomorrow." Casey said getting up and ready to leave.
"Yeah we should go and leave the two lovebirds continue" Alex agreed as she got up and shared a laugh with Casey.
"Oh stop it" Olivia said with a giggle and they walked to the door "I'll call you guys tomorrow. Thanks for keeping Frankie today."
They said there goodnights and the girls left. As Olivia walked back inside to the hall way she heard water splashing and Frankie laughing. She stood at the bathroom door watching Elliot playing with Frankie as he tried to give her a bath. She had always dreamed of that, her perfect family. The love of her life, her beautiful little girl, this was perfect and she was finally happy.
Between her laughs the little girl noticed her mom at the doorway.
"Mommy, come play too!"
Olivia smiled and walked closer, kneeled next to Elliot and started playing with them and doing a better job at giving Frankie her bath. But between the laughs and the games they failed to hear the door opening and closing behind a young woman.
Kathleen Stabler walked inside the apartment. Was her father with someone? Should she leave? No she came to surprise her daddy and no one would ruin that. So she following the laughter waiting to see her father with a girlfriend or something but as she reached silently the bathroom and stood at the doorway she froze.
Her father was laughing and playing this a little girl and there was a woman, she was… "Olivia?" they all turned and looked at Kathleen, who till then didn't realize that she said Liv's name out loud. No one could find words to say. They weren't prepared for this.
"Who this daddy?" Frankie asked as no one else spoke.
Daddy? Kathleen felt like she got punched in the face That little girl was her fathers child? Olivia's child? She was trying to speak but word couldn't come out of the mouth.
Elliot stood up.
"Kat, what are you… em hi." He got closer to his daughter and pull her into a hug. "I know you are confused, but I can explain." He whispered into her ear as he hugged her. Kathleen didn't move.
"That's why you left us?" Kathleen started yelling "so you could play house with her and her child?"
"Kathleen please stop yelling and let's talk. Let me explain, calmly." Elliot said in a calm voice trying not to scary Frankie any more than she already was. The little girl had been pulled out of the bathtub and into her mother's arms in a towel as she started shaking.
"Calm? How do you expect me to be calm, when I walk in here and find you with that whore and her chid?"
"Kathleen, that's enough!" Elliot raised his voice and Olivia pulled Frankie farther into her arms and stood up, taking a step towards the bathroom door.
"Elliot we are going." She announced as she got out of the room. She was not going to have her almost 3 year old daughter traumatized any more by this whole situation. She walked into Elliot's room and started dressing Frankie and then herself. How could she even hope that she would have a happy ending with Elliot?
In the mean time Elliot had Kathleen to the living room trying to explain to her what was going on.
"So she just showed up after 3 years with a child and you believed that it was your? Dad, God know who fathered that child. Are you that naïve?"
"Kathleen stop talking like that about your sister!" Elliot was getting angry at his daughter. "I know she is mine! She has my eyes and the dates fit, ok!"
"What dates dad? You were married to mom 3 years ago there's no way… unless you… no…you cheated on mom? How could you?" Kat started yelling again.
At that time Olivia with Frankie in her arms walked out in the living room holding a bag with their things.
"You home wreaker…" Kathleen went right at Olivia but her father stopped her.
"Kathleen stop this nonsense and listen!" Elliot said raising his voice again.
Frankie was so scared and confused. "Mommy I'm scared" she said to her mother.
"It's ok baby we are going now." Olivia said to her frightened little girl and turned to Elliot. "Elliot we are going."
"Liv please just wait…"
"El I can't have Frankie in the middle of this. She is scared already, I don't want her to around this. We'll be at Casey's." she said as she walked to the door.
"Liv…" Elliot tried to stop her again.
"Let her go dad! See, she doesn't even care to stand up for herself. She is lying about that kid." Kathleen said "Home weaker" she yelled again and made Olivia see red. She turned around , handed Frankie to Elliot and walked closer to Kathleen looking her straight in the eye.
"Daddy…" Frankie said as she buried her head to the choke of his neck and Elliot held her tight.
"You can call me any names you want Kathleen but I'm not a liar. I have loved your father with my entire heart for 10 whole years and if that makes me a home wrecker so be it but I will not have you insulting me in frond of my child, your sister! And I will not have my daughter in the middle of fights and yelling like your mother did to you and siblings, and made you believe that the only way to deal with every situation is by yelling and screaming and not trying to understand it." She could see that she got to Kathleen.
She turned around and took Frankie into her arms again. "Let's go baby."
"But daddy is hewe…" Frankie said with little tears running down her cheeks. Kathleen looked at the little girl and really saw her this time. She did have her father's eyes and she reminded her of herself when she used to cry when her parents fought.
"I know baby but we have to go. You will see daddy again maybe tomorrow."
"Daddy?" she turned to Elliot and he got closer whipping the tears from her little cheeks.
"Yes princess, you go with mama now and I will see you tomorrow, I promise you. I love you princess" He said leaving a kiss on her little cheek.
"Ok, I lowe you too" the little girl whispered and turned her little head and looked at the blonde standing in the room. Kathleen felt how scared and sad the little girl was and started regretting her actions and words.
"I'll call you." Elliot said to Olivia, understanding why she had to take Frankie out of there.
"Ok…" she said and they walked to the door. Elliot whispered for only Liv to hear "I love you" and she said it back. When the door closed he turned to his daughter.
"Now sit down and let's talk!"
