Author's Note: First off yes I know it's been a couple of years since I updated. And second, I want to say that I'm really sorry. Over the past years this story has reached over 200 followers and I can't express how happy that has made me. I had given up on the story. And yes I know I made promises to not abandon it but what could I do? How could I write something I had lost my inspiration for? I just couldn't write something my heart wasn't in. Just recently, I've been looking through all of my stories along with my newest addiction to watch Teen Wolf all over again I decided to re-write this. This version is far different then its original and is to my knowledge well- written and the chapters contain much more content. To anyone who actually read this big author's note thank you and enjoy! Please let me know what you thought in a review below.

"I am the only one who truly understands you, Bella. The only one who gets you like no one else."

His fiery touches ignite electric sparks within my very being. His light caresses with his blazing hand touch delicately down from my neck to my torso causing cold shivers but pleasurable shivers to run down to my thighs eliciting a soft moan from the bottom of my throat.

"This is what you want. I am what you want. I am what you crave. "

My head falls back on the dirt covered ground as my torso arches into his. Wanting him. Needing him.

My eyes open and stare point blank into red irises - the color of blood and lust, "say you want me"

"Bella?" A cold hard body lied beside me.

I could feel a pale hand on my forehead checking if I had a fever or some sort of unfortunate ailment.

My eyes blink open weakly. "Bella, are you alright? You were thrashing in your sleep. Did you have a nightmare? Was it of James? You know you don't have nothing to be freighted over?"

The voice I can automatically place as Edwards' leaves me with a cold and desolate feeling inside my chest.

I scrunch my face in confusion...nightmare? What was Edward talking about?

Instead of calling it a nightmare. I would name it something along the lines of a steamy wake-up call. My cheeks flush with embarrassment and my body makes an unforgettable connection.

I notice Edward staring directly at me, "Bella, why am I smelling your arousal?" If I could blush even further I'm sure my face would be the deepest shade of red.

"Edward!" I silently shout trying my hardest not to wake Charlie being as it was still the middle of the night by the time my alarm clock was set at and it wouldn't look good if Edward was caught in my bedroom.

On another note my inner traitorous thoughts were something else entirely.

Edward's claim was valid - the dream had been very arousing to say the least, however it wasn't for Edward. That thought should of made me feel bad or maybe a little guilty, yet it only made me feel numb.

I felt Edward's lips upon my own in the next second, as if my arousal was enough to get Edward to look past his precious morals about being a gentlemen he was raised to be.

I wanted to replace the dream - to replace the man with the deepest shade of red eyes with Edward. I could still remember the first time I had met and fell in love with Edward. I remember the way he protected me from James; how he sucked the venom out of my veins. He did that for me. To save me. I knew it. But deep down I knew he didn't want me to be like him. A vampire forever frozen in time.

My whole being felt like it was betraying the vampire before me - the first ever boy I had feelings for. I lean into the kiss trying my hardest to deepen it. To somehow explain through this act that my feelings for Edward were the only feelings I had. That my feelings had not changed. That my unwavering will to make Edward see my feelings were genuine.

Edward's whole body froze and pushed away. And that one act was enough to let me know that I wouldn't ever be enough for him. And my feelings for Edward were gone.

"Bella you know my control is very little. How many times do I have to remind you?" Apparently every time he does that.

"Then why kiss me if your just going to freeze up? Sometimes I just don't understand you Edward. " I can't seem to lock gazes with him.

He leans down to where I sit on top of my bed and brushes a chaste kiss upon my forehead,

"It's been a long night love. I have to go back to the house. We can talk more in the morning. "

And just like that he leaves me avoiding the conversation altogether.

His running retreat should have struck something in me but for the life of me I couldn't remember the last time I had felt more free. Making sure to close the window and lock it preventing Edward from coming in when morning comes. Not wanting to be intruded on when I dreamt.

I lay my head back on the pillow and dream of a faraway place that all but consumes me in.

I don't dream of a seductive and charming man this time. Far from it.

I'm by myself - there is no wind as there is no time. It is neither day or night but a gray world with leaves and moss covering the ground - taking on a forest setting.

I could hear the haunting melody of the insects that were housed: inside the trees, beneath the earth, and around the cover of the many trees and branches.

I glance upwards when a sudden light illuminates the surrounding I stand in. It wasn't the moon nor the sun I'm looking at - it's neither night nor day. My face changes into utter confusion. By the path of this dream was enough to make me hesitate in my steps and think of caution before I acted.

I knew that dreams weren't meant to make sense they were always filled with just the right levels of mischief and nonsense to be considered imaginative and invisible to the actual world. But even in a world of only nonsense there is still room for extreme caution when handling things of the abnormal.

I hear a break of a branch from behind whirling my head back in time to catch a small glimpse of an animal. A howl resembling a Wolves' echoes in the background. An animal who was as tall as the surrounding trees and as bulky as the base of the trees.

Eyes glowing a deep crimson - irises of the darkest shade of red...

"Bella. Bella?"

A shaking feeling woke me from the bizarre path my dream had taken me. I blinked a couple of times blinking the tiredness away. Noticing for the first time that Charlie was the one shaking me awake.

"You alright, Bells?"

I could hear the genuine concern from the way he sat next to me on my bed and the unwavering gaze that spoke of several amounts of emotions each conveying how worried he was.

"I'm fine dad. Thank you for waking me up. "

"No problem. Didn't think you would be very bright to the idea of missing school. "

And just like that my mind was tethered again to reality.

I shut the door of the police cruiser making sure to wave bye to Charlie and proceed to the entrance of the high school.

I notice Edward hadn't shown yet and that made me worry but it wasn't for long when I spot Alice making her way to me in her typical dance along with Jasper who didn't exactly say much.

His eyes red a flash of my dream from the night before taking a deep breathe to calm myself. I notice I feel calm right away and suspect it was Jasper who helped. Giving him a grateful nod. He seemed to lighten up a bit only a bit though. "Bella, how are you? I heard from Edward that you two had a fight. "

"It was nothing to worry over. It was just a little misunderstanding. "

"Misunderstanding...,right? Alice's eyes flicker up and down and from that act I can tell she just had a vision.

Alice grabs me by my forearm and conveyed a silent message to Jasper as Alice pulls me in the direction of an empty classroom.

The lights were off. No students in sight. "Alice. What did you see?"

Instead of answering immediately she walks over to the windows using her speed she pulls the blinds down from prying students that were around outside.

"I saw your life Bella. The happiness. The sadness. The truth. Everything. "

"You're not making any sense. "

"I know and I'm sorry. All I can really say is that Edward is not who you think he is. " that statement pierced me through the heart.

I still stood with a dumbfounded expression. I didn't know what to feel, but at the same time I knew what Alice had said was the truth.

When Edward and I kissed the night before there were no feelings of romance. Nothing.

"Then who is he?" I ask. I knew she could hear the anxiousness of my frantic little heart. Then I felt it that little sense of apprehension for I somehow knew the next words Alice spoke would be life-altering.

"Edward is not your mate. " her voice was very clear and I had heard her right.

"Alice I think I believe you. I've been having strange dreams lately. And I don't think I have any real feelings for Edward." I admit these things to Alice. She has always been by my side and right now I need to have at least someone to tells everything to.

"It's alright Bella. I know I saw it in your future. Bella you were happy in them. So don't be so sad over my brother. As his sister I should want you to be with him - I should encourage it. But, I am your friend first and i'm here for you and I will always be on your side. " The confession of Alice's made me feel happy like I was wanted.

"Thank you Alice."

"Now tell me of these dreams you've been having."

I had to tell them at some point. Now was a good time as any.

"So what you're saying is you have dreams of this guy. And sometimes it's not hot and romance, but pretty scary as well." Alice summarizes in a few short sentences - making my explanation seem very childish. "Umm, well yes I suppose so."

I admit - weaving my fingers through my hair and itching it. Looking around my room - as school had been let out early and Alice and I decided to go to my house to talk more about my dreams.

"I haven't heard of any of this. So I don't know what advice to give you. But I can say that you should really listen to it. As someone who has been gifted with gift of insight. Dreams aren't a far stretch to the future."

Alice's words sung true. I felt connected to the strange but seductive man in my dreams. Like I knew him from somewhere but I couldn't place the where. Alice left leaving me to organize through my thoughts. But I didn't get the time to. Edward knocked on my window and somehow I knew this was the last moment I would ever have with him.
