Welcome to the next chapter in Harry Potter and the Dragon Lord. Like I said in the last chapter this one will feature a timeskip to the trial of Sirus. Also let me know if you guys want me to do a skip to Harry going to Hogwarts where I'll do one chapter summarizing the year spent with Sirus and Remus or do three or four chapters explaining what happens. The asgardian: All seven houses may or may not appear. But I do have plans for a few of them.

Now onto the story.

It had been a long week leading up to the trial of his godfather Sirus Black. It had started with a letter from Amelia Bones. The letter told Harry that she was able to get a quick trial for Sirus but he would need to attend the trial and testify of how he came to learn of Sirus' innocence. Harry quickly agreed to this. Not only would freeing this man help Harry escape The Dursley family permanently but it would also free one of the last links he had to his parents and allow him to form a bond with him.

So with the help of Remus and Moppy Harry began to get prepared for the trial. Remus would help by doing practice runs of the trial with him. He would have Harry sit in a chair and he would question him. The questions stayed about his trip to Gringotts and the letters from his parents. They also covered the will reading. Moppy helped by keeping Harry's nerves down. She would tell him hours of stories not only about his father but his grandparents too. His favorite stories where the one of his birth and how scared and proud his father was and the stories of how in love his father always was with his mother.

Now the week was up and Remus and Harry sat in the witness section of a large court room. Infront of them was what Harry could only explain as the judge and jury seating. In the judge spot sat Dumbledore. As the Chief Warlock he had the authority to judge all court cases. In the jury was the Wizengamot. There sat the Lords of the wizarding world. Remus explained to him these where people who either their family or they themselves had done something great for the wizard world of Britain that they where elevated into this seat of power. Harry had a vote being a Potter yet because of how close to this case he was he was asked to not use his vote.

After five minutes of sitting in the court room in walked two aurors with a man. Remus explained to him that aurors where basically the same as muggle policemen. With the two of them was a man wrapped head to toe in chains. They had his hands and feet chained where he struggled to even walk. Yet looking at the man you could tell that even without the chains from his clearly abused body he would struggle. Harry watched him be lead to his seat. The man had dark black long hair and grey eyes with large bags under them. This was Harry's godfather Sirus Black. The aurors dragged Sirus to a chair that sat in the middle of the court room where everyone had a clear view of him. They then forced him into the seat as chains wrapped around his waist, wrists, and ankles. Securing him firmly in place. Dumbledore then held up his wand and a loud bang rang through the court.

"We are here today for the trial of Sirus Black. For the crimes leading to the deaths of James Potter and Lily Potter. And the murder of Peter Pettigrew. How does the defendant plea." Dumbledore asked.

Sirus looked up with his haunted eyes. "Not guilty to all crimes." He rasped out. The court then descended into chaos with everyone yelling. Again Dumbledore let out a bang from his wand.

"I will have order in this courtroom. Now are you willing to take veritaserum?" He asked. Not speaking he just nodded. Dumbledore then gave the signal to the aurors. They brought a small vile of a clear liquid. They then forced his head back. They then poured a small amount down his throat. Once sat back upright his eyes had a glassy look to them. "Now to make sure the potion has taken full affect. State your full name and date of birth for the court."

"Sirus Orion Black. November 3rd 1959."

"It seems the potion is in affect now to start with the questions. Where you the secret keeper to James and Lily Potter"

"No" He answered. After the whole court grew deathly quiet. Shocked to hear this.

"If it wasn't you then who?" Dumbledore asked.

"Original it was planned for me to be the keeper yet James and I thought that was too obvious. Everyone knew how close we where. Brothers in all but blood. So it was decided that I would be the secret keeper to the public but the true keeper was Peter." Sirius explained with tears forming in his eyes. "That's why I went after him that night. He betrayed us. He killed James and Lily by giving them over to Voldemort" the whole court besides Harry and Dumbledore flinched at the name. Dumbledore then stood up.

"It's clear that Sirius is innocent of the crimes so let's vote. All in favor of clearing him of all crimes rise your wands with a blue light." The court then light up as just about the whole court voted to free him. "Sirius Black you are cleared of all charges and free to go" the chains released him as he fell out the chair. As he tried to get up a pair of arms helped him. Looking up it was Remus. Smiling he hugged the man as the two old friends where reunited after ten years. Remus broke the hug and nodded his head to the left. Sirius looked to see Harry standing there a small smile on his face. Eyes meeting Harry spoke first.

"Pa'foo" he said causing Sirius to begin crying as he wrapped Harry into a tight hug as the court cleared out leaving the three of them.
