So I'm changing writing style on you guys a bit. Instead of doing the whole episode I'm going to just do parts with Chloe or Anna in them.

"Damon hasn't said a word to me. Every time I try to talk to him he shuts me down," Stefan told us at our lockers at school.

"Do you think he's still trying to find Anna?" I asked him while putting my books away.

"I don't know," Stefan sighed. "He waited a hundred and forty-five years only to find out that Anna could not care less. I mean it's gotta hurt, right?"

"And it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy," Elena said sarcastically and I scoffed.

"You both have every reason to be upset with him," Stefan said and I turned giving him a look.

"Do we?" I asked him harshly. "So glad to have your permission."

"Have you thought any more about what you're going to do?" Stefan asked.

"About what? Isobel, my vampire birth mother, who's related to my vampire ancestor Katherine, who screwed over your vampire brother?" Elena asked him. "Nah...I haven't thought about it at all."

"I'm sorry I brought it up."

"It'd just be nice if we could get through one day without having to deal with any of it. No vampire mother or brother," Elena complained.

"No vampires at all?" Stefan asked him.

"No vampires but you," Elena told him and I made the barf noise.

"I'm leaving before I hurl." I grabbed what books I needed and left them.

"Hey! Chlo!" I turned to see Tyler running up at me and I sighed. Did I really want to deal with him right now? "Hey, what are you doing after school?"

"Going home and doing whatever I want to do," I told him.

"How about going out?" he asked me. "With me?"

"And where would we go?" I asked him.

"Movie then the Grill? Like old times," he said and I thought about it for a moment.

"Fine. Movie then the Grill, but I'm not promising anything else," I told him and he grinned at me.

"Cool," he said before leaving. "I'll see you there."

"Yeah," I sighed. "See ya."

"You're going on a date with Tyler?" Elena asked me stunned. "Again?"

"It's not a date," I corrected her. "We're just hanging out."

"Which leads to dating," she said and I gave her a look.

"Not this time."

"Is this your way of getting over Damon?" she asked me and I glared at her.

"Seriously?" I asked her. "You're asking me that after that crap he pulled with him and Alaric? He killed our birth mother."

"I remember. You don't have to remind me."

"Obviously I did if you felt the need to say that," I told her. "And he's still hung up on Anna and I'm not going to be that person who tries to take her place."

"You really like him. Don't you?" I stared at her. "You can't like him, Chloe."

"You think I don't know that?" I asked her. "You think I woke up one day and said I want to like a vampire who has emotional baggage a mile high? Why? Did you ask for? A broody one?"

"Why do you always have to be like that?" she sighed.

"Like what?"

"Nothing." She finally left me alone to get ready for tonight. I stared at myself in the mirror and sighed.

I went to the door when we heard someone knocking on it. I opened it to reveal Tyler.

"Hey," he greeted.

"Hey. Ready to go?" I asked.

"Uh, yea." I grabbed a coat and walked out the door to his car. "So what do you want to see?" Tyler had never been good at this sort of thing when we'd dated before he and Vicky hooked up. Looks like some things never change.

"How about we see what's playing when we get there?" I offered and he nodded.

"Sounds cool." He started his car and we were off.

After the movie, Tyler and I went to the grill and got a table.

"Well, that was..." he started to say.

"Never to be mentioned again?" I asked and we both laughed.

"Agreed."

"So," I sighed. "What are we eating here?"

"Burgers and fries?" he offered and I nodded my head in agreement.

"Sounds good. I'll go order drinks if you get the food." He nodded and I got up and made my way to the bar. "Hey, two sodas."

"What are you doing here?" I turned to see a guy glaring at me and I looked at him confused.

"What's it matter to you?" I asked him.

Caroline: Elena, come on!

"You know what," he told me. "You abandoned us in that tomb." I gapped at his words

"I'm not who you think I am," I told him.

"Stop lying, Anna," he growled.

"My name is Chloe Gilbert," I told him. "I don't know Anna." I grabbed the drinks before going back to Tyler.

"Hey, everything ok?" Tyler asked confused.

"Why wouldn't it be?" I asked him a smile before pulling out my phone and text Elena who as at the pool table with Matt, Caroline, and Stefan.

We have a problem

When we had finished our burgers Tyler took me home and walked me to the door.

"We should do this again," he told me and I gave him a small look.

"We agreed this wasn't a date," I reminded him.

"I never said we should go on another date," he said smirking at me and I sighed. "Didn't even bring it up."

"Tyler..." I sighed and he moved closer to me.

"Come on," he said. "Why don't we pick up where we left off?"

"You mean before Vicky?" I asked him. "What she's gone so you decide to move backward in time?"

"Chloe, we were great together," he sighed. "Even my mom thinks so."

"And we all know your mom is the person to go to about what the future holds for all of us," I said sarcastically. "This wasn't a date, Tyler. It was too old friends hanging out. That's it."

"But it could be more," he said almost pleadingly.

"No." I went inside and straight to my room.

"Hey." I turned to see Damon sitting on my bed with a glass of bourbon in his hand.

"I know you didn't get that from here," I joked with a smile.

"Say you had a date tonight," he said. "Have fun?"

"Beggars can't be choosers in this place," I sighed while pulling out my pajamas.

"There's more than just the founding families in Mystic Falls," he reminded me and I gave him a look.

"I'm more than aware of that, Damon. And it wasn't a date."

"Looked like one," he smirked and I scoffed.

"What do you want?"

"I was made an offer by one of the tomb vampires," he told me and I just stared at him. "But it puts people in danger. Puts you and your family in danger."

"What do you get out of it?"

"Anna's location."

"What are you going to do?"
