Chapter 5: Reboot

*Yawn*

Was the simple sound that escaped Naruto's lips as his eyes open, immediately recalling the odd night he had of Akame marching out of the room with Leone going after her. It was with this memory he realized a part of his was getting quite stiff yet it wasn't the memory, upon looking down he turns beat red at finding Sheele sleeping on his chest.

"Nya... It seems Naruto will be training under me. Lets do our best Nya! Nya..." She muttered sleepily while a bunch of perverted thoughts began racing through Naruto before he slaps himself her, gaining awakeness from Sheele just as Naruto spoke.

"What... The... Fuck... Is happening?" Naruto thought to himself, eyes completely wide as he has come to realize why he keeps being called 'Man-Meat' by everyone. He than immediately shudders up her arms wrapping him, her mistaking him for a pillow ad she snuggles into him more, sleepily.

"Uh... Sheele?." It was with that said, she looks up at Naruto's blushing facd as her eyes instantly widen as she begins freaking out, sitting up on his lap as she starts to apologize.

"I-I'M SORRY, I—" She jolts as she felt something quite hard pressing against her butt, looking down she moved herself all the while Naruto couldn't speak as everything was caught in his throat, watching as she lifted he blankets to see if she was sitting on a weapon yet finds only boxers and a particular part of the human body sticking out through its opening and upon seeing it, her face grew even redder as she immediately pulls them down, meeting Naruto's also red face.

"This is harder than I thought..." Muttered one blonde who was pulling himself out of a river, soaking wet from head-to-toe, using rocks as leverage to hold himself up from out of the water yet upon seeing Sheele sitting on the rocks, upon making eye contact the two immediately look away embarrassingly.

"Ok, this isn't as easy as it seems."

He said quickly, trying to not think to much on what happened as he gets out of the water to reveal soaking wet Imperial Guard armor.

"You did well to swim in that armor." Her praise didn't get much acknowledgement as he was stretching, removing the armor from his body.

"Why don't you have a job?"

"While cooking... I burned the near, and angered Akame. While cleaning, I made a bigger mess, she made more work for Bulat. While shopping, I mistook sugar for salt, and Leone laughed at me. While spiky laundry... I accident my washed Mine with the laundry."

With that sudden exchange, the blonde was using his will power not to laugh hysterically.

"Hey, when I first met with everyone why weren't you with the returning group?" His words contained curiosity as she touches her chin.

"Hmmm... I feel like there was a reason... But I've forgotten." She had a gloomy atmosphere coming from her, gaining a sigh from the blonde.

"I'm sorry be being so—" Sheele was cut off when she stood up, her glasses had fallen off upon her bowing which, with that she fell to her knees trying to find it.

"My glasses, my glasses..."

"How did you get involved with this?"

If was after saying that she found them, putting them on as she looks at him.

"If I were to start from the beginning... I grew up in the capital a downtown district. Ever since childhood, I've been clumsy and bad at everything. In my life, I couldn't take pride in a single thing. "She probably has a screw loose in her head somewhere." People often said things like that about me. However... There was someone who was kind to me. She wouldn't make fun of me, no matter what mistakes I made. The time I spent with her was the only time I was truly happy. Until that day... I was with her, as usual, at her house. A man appeared at the doorm. It was my friend's for her boyfriend. He resented her for leaving him, and began to get violent in the house. Eventually, he grabbed her neck and started to strangle her. The man was high from drugs. I thought to myself, "I have to save her." I was surprisingly calm when I slashed the man throat with the kitchen knife. The man died immediately. She was shaking from what had just happened. But in contrast, my mind was clear. In the end, the incident was ruled self-defense. But I never saw my friend again. And then... A few days later, the man's friends came to avenge his death. "We already killed your parents. You're next," they said. Although I was being threatened, my mind was surprisingly calm again. I killed the man, one after the next, with the knife I Keith for protection. That was when I realized... The screw that was loose in my head...made me a talented killer. I can help rid society of garbage. There's something I can be of use for... When the Revolutionary Army recruited me, I was freelance assassin in the capital." As she finished her story, she saw Naruto just staring at her sadly.

"She's like me..." He just recalls how he killed the slavers and Zank with a smile on his face, having enjoyed every second of it.

"Seems you're doing well, Naruto!" With a sudden shout, emerging from the water was none other than Bulat himself, not wearing a shirt as he starts flexing his muscles, gaining an awkward silence.

"Wait... WERE YOU WATCHING ME FROM IN THE WATER?!"

"Naruto, your wounds have pretty much healed, right? This is the Imperial Arms we took from Zank. Try it on." Spoke their leader as they stood in the meeting room, extending the eye out to him.

"Only one Imperial Arms per person."

"Operating them takes a Lou of mental and physical strength."

After hearing this, Naruto just looks at his sword in the corner of the room.

"I don't exactly know if I will like it if it does work since I rather use Wicked Jester but I'll give it a try." With that said, he takes it and places it upon his forehead.

"It wasn't in any of the documents, so we don't know a lot about it." With Najenda's words, Akame cit in.

"It has the ability to read minds, right? Try looking at me." After saying that, he does as told.

"You're...who am I even kidding, we all know your thinking of meat." It was after saying this, Akame became quite shocked while Leone just shakes her head.

"Let's try another ability... Activate!" Naruto thought as the eye opens up finally and as it did so he was greeted by quite the sight that caused his jaw to instantly drops. Through his eyes, everyone was in their underwear yet he couldn't take his eyes off of Sheele's body due to how perfect it was from flawless skin to a rack that could rival Leone's. This didn't go untouched by Leone who with her keen eyes had already noticed that Naruto's pants began to expand a little and smiles.

"So?" Mine finally asked, approaching Naruto to lean in front of him and even if he could lie, he wouldn't as he himself had to admit that Mine's body was also gorgeous yet Akame's was even more, as they got closer the blonde was already a tomato.

"Does it work?" As Akame questioned with a tilt of her head, Naruto forces his will to stop his hormones from going out of control or else he would need to relieve himself of it yet that stops when all of a sudden his eyes widen as he felt something going wrong as he begins to breath tiredly.

"This is bad... It's rejecting him!"

With those words said, Naruto just takes it off of his head.

"I was suddenly exhausted... It must mean it doesn't suit me... Hey Lubbock, I think this would suit you since you can see women's underwear." Upon saying that, Mine immediately blushes as she covers herself unlike the other females who didn't yet unlike them she was blushing due to the fact he saw what was under her clothing just as Naruto tosses the eye too Lubbock who catches it with stars in his eyes.

"Really?!"

Yet sadly Leone slammer her foot in Lubbock's back while taking the eye away from him, which Lubbock himself stands up while shedding anime tears and it finally stops after a little bit.

"We'll send it to the Revolutionary Army's headquarters. They'll analyze it, and it'll become a crucial part of our strength." Najenda said, looking at them all with her one eye.

"Although we are mainly a team of assassins, collecting the Imperial Arms is an important sub-mission. In cases with Imperial Arms holders, like Zank, we can take them. If we cant take it, destroying it is best."

"The more we get, the stronger we are."

With a nod from Najenda, she takes out a book that she was carrying.

"This has information on the Imperial Arms. You should read it." After saying that, she hands him the book which he takes it and opens it up to examine the pages on it.

"There's so many."

"Not a single one could bring you guys back to life." Muttered the blonde who was sitting outside in the dead of night, staring at the stars on the cliff, in front of him was the graves of his friends.

"Naruto... You're still awake?" Hearing that suddenly said, Naruto blinks with a little surprise yet he simply shrugs.

"I thought maybe they could return, and it made me happy... I thought... I..." He looks down at their graves with clear sadness. "thought that if they come back I can stop killing... The truth is... I hold back when I'm killing, refusing to show how much I love crushing, slaughtering, tearing the enemy to pieces! This only proves that I'm just a monster!" As he spoke that, he grits his teeth as tears began forming in his eyes as he recalled the Wicked Jester that took hold of him, making him into its avatar of death and as he thought that, he grips his sword yet his eyes suddenly widen upon Sheele wrapping her arms around him, pulling him back into her lap.

"I'll keep this a secret from everyone, so cry as much as you'd like." Hearing such things, Naruto's eyes widen all the way before they relax as he leans into her.

"That just like you... Thank you, Sheele."

With that said, instead of crying he closes his eyes, falling asleep to rest in her arms while she just stares at the stars.

"I would like to thank

you, as well, Naruto. Thanks to you, I've found another thing I can be useful for." As she thought that, she smiles more with happiness as she hugs him closely to her chest.
