Hey sorry that I haven't published in a while! I haven't had much time to write, and I've also been trying to do more original work. I hope you guys understand.

This is just a short ficlet, uploaded and made to show a friend how to upload to here. Hope you enjoy.

"Hey, Al?" Matthew spoke, as he looked at his boyfriends face.

Alfred looked over to him, his eyebrows raised, and then smiled. "Yes?"

Matthew hummed in deep thought before speaking what was on his mind. "I've been thinking- It's probably a silly question, but do you know what you look like?"

It would be worth it to point out that Alfred was a vampire. The two met a few years ago, when the human was walking around in the dark, and passed out. Alfred took Matthew to his small cottage, and found an interest in him. He waited until Matthew gave him permission to take blood from him, as Alfred was hungry but didn't want to kill the other, and he did so, bringing water to him from the lake right after.

That was when the two began to bond, and started dating.

Alfred chuckled a bit, and then grinned, bearing his fangs. "Yeah," He hummed. "Of course I can see myself, silly." He reached out his hand, patting the other on the head.

"Oh, I just wasn't sure, because-"

Matthew's sentence got cut off with a pair of lips on his mouth, and he closed his eyes, just enjoying the contact from the pale man.

The truth was, Alfred didn't know what he looked like. He couldn't see himself in reflections of mirrors, water, or glass. He just didn't want Matthew worrying about him.
