Jack P.O.V

Pain is something Jack is familiar with. The ache in his chest when he thinks about his 300 years alone. The stabbing pain of when he is rejected or turned down by one of his fellow gaurdians, even if he knows they don't mean it. The empty feeling when a child walks through crushing pain of when his staff has broken. But none of those pains even come close to touching the pain that he feels now. Burning. Jack isn't supposed to feel burning of any sort. He's the spirit of winter for crying out loud.

He attempts to open his eyes, they feel hot and heavy and he truly struggles to pry his eyelids away from each other. He doesn't register what he is seeing at first, until he realizes that he's not seeing anything. Literally, the space around him was black and endless. Jack blindly searches for his staff. To his right he almost immeadiatly hits something hard and he realizes its a wall. Okay, so he is in a room of sorts. Jack continues to search for his staff, panic rising through his chest at the thought of not finding it.

"Calm down Jack. You're safe with me." Comes a calm, decieving voice.

"Pitch." Jack growles. "What do you want?"

"Oh Jack..What makes you think I want anything besides your company?"Pitch says in his low, sinister tone that sends a shiver up your spine.

A light shines at the end of what Jack assumes is the room.

"Come towards the light Jack." Pitch whispers. " I can take away your pain."

Jack knows this is wrong. All wrong. He needs to stand his ground. Demand to be released. Put up a fight. But he finds himself drawn towards the light. It was cool, it was painfree. He could feel a slight breeze. The wind played with his white hair in greeting but tugged him away from the light in warning. Jack should be listening to his oldest friend. He knows that. So why does he continue to slowly walk towards the light.

"That's it." Coos Pitch.

Turn around urges the wind blowing a steady breeze.

"Just a little closer.." He hears Pitch.

Jack can't think, he can't focus. His head is spinning, buzzing, refusing to focus. His legs continue to take him towards the light, towards Pitch's voice.

"I promise I can make you feel better.. Just take my hand." Pitch whispers.

Pitch P.O.V

Pitch watches with smugness as Jack thrives in the bed made of his very own black dream sand. He's in pain. But Pitch has him wrapped up deeply in his nightmares. He whispers into his ear. Urging him towards the 'light'. He extends his hand, willing Jack to take it. He will make Jack feel better. And together they will be unstoppable. After all what goes together better than cold and dark...
