Molly gathered her things together and stuffed whatever would fit in her purse. After slinging it over her shoulder, she heard the loud buzzing of her mobile phone. She sighed. Digging for the phone, she heard the buzz sound several times.

"Sherlock…" she frowned, reading the alert.

I finished the Half Blood Prince. Deduced who he was halfway through. Do you have the next book? -SH

Molly, hurry to 221B if you could. -SH

Your shift ended three minutes ago, there's a cab waiting for you. -SH

The tab is running up, and even though he is the government, my brother is not made of money. -SH

Please hurry? -SH

Molly tried to suppress a sigh as she clocked out and ran out to the street entrance. A cab sat waiting just where she stepped out, and after seeing the driver lean to watch for a customer, she knew it was hers. She opened the door and quickly situated herself.

"Baker Street, right?"

"Yes," she grinned, staring out the window as the cab pulled off.

After she arrived, and the driver refused a tip, she opened the door to the apartment and dashed up the steps, making sure to put all of her weight on the squeaky one.

When Sherlock heard the sign the two of them had worked out, he called, "Ahh! Molly. You know, the Potions book Harry picked was what gave the secret away, really. No other teacher is known for Potions, besides Slughorn, and irony is at work in that Snape-"

"Shh," she laughed, placing her bag on John's old chair. "You've never phoned me to get here this soon after work," she called, strolling into the kitchen. As she poured herself a cup of tea, she continued, "What do you need?"

"Hmm?"

"Sherlock, don't avoid the question." Her heart sank when she noticed he was heading her way, the sixth Harry Potter book in hand. He hadn't returned any of the others yet. Was this his way of breaking up with-

"It was a lovely novel," he commented, placing it in front of Molly.

She picked it up silently and licked her lips in an attempt to keep her worries at bay. "Wait, Sherlock, why is it lighter now?"

"Hmm?" he looked at her with a mischievous glint in his eye.

Molly opened the book and flipped a few pages until she found the reason- a large chunk of the book had been cut out! She was furious until she read what the page beneath the hole said- The Unbreakable Vow. Rolling around underneath the chapter's title was a diamond ring with two bright rubies set on either side.

Her mouth dropped open and her eyes darted between Sherlock and the ring. Suddenly, a thought dawned on her. "Sherlock, did you massacre my book to propose to me?"
