The Pink Thief Arc
Chapter 12 - Reunion
Stomp, stomp, stomp, stomp… A man with raven black hair and bangs covering his left eye stormed through the corridors of the Noir headquarters. He held a phone up to his ear as he did, however, the only thing he heard was the phone dial.
Peep… Peep… 'The number you are trying to reach is unava-' He hung up the phone for the nth time, frustrated with the lack of response. Why wasn't Kagami picking up? Did something happen to his brother?
At the beginning, Kagami was successful in reporting his whereabouts and status, but then all of a sudden, all contact was lost. The tracking GPS that was sown into all of Noir uniforms was offline, and Kagami's phone wasn't responding at all as well. In other words… contact lost.
Himuro was worried, more than worried as he stormed through the corridors, heading to commander Nijimura's office. And it didn't help at all that the women around him were trying to catch his eye.
'Himuro-san would you-'
'Ah! Himuro-sama could we-'
The females were all surprised by the lack of response as the exorcist ignored them completely, passing them as if they weren't there at all. It wasn't as if they were offended, no, but judging by Himuro's expression, they knew the exorcist was worried and wished him luck on his way to the office.
Peep… Peep… 'The number you are trying to reach is unavali-' Again, another useless attempt. Himuro turned the corner, finally arriving at the huge metal doors with two guards standing in front.
He went to them, giving them a nod which they returned before opening the door. Himuro went in, slowly closing the door behind him. He turned, noticing the commander was busy with paperwork.
'So? Any luck?' Nijimura asked but his gaze remained on the papers, signing one paper after another. Himuro shook his head, 'No. I can't reach him. I'm worried.' He admitted, lowering his head in worry. Where could Kagami be?
Nijimura signed a paper, holding the pen while pressing the ink gently onto the paper. Elegantly and with care, the commander signed the document before looking up at his right hand man.
'Worrying will only hinder your work. Kagami is safe and sound, perhaps too safe." Nijimura's words made Himuro look up in surprise, safe?
'What do you mean Shuu?'
Nijimura leaned on his chair, eyeing his katana that was placed to the side of his desk, 'Kagami has changed sides. He's betrayed us and decided to cooperate with the Demon King. He's been spotted fighting side by side with that demon.'
Himuro's eyes were wide, 'W-What? Is that true?'
'According to our forces and their reports that just arrived, yes.'
Himuro took in a sigh of relief. He moved his hand on his chest, as if a rock had been taken off it. His brother is safe. Although… now he was in trouble.
Himuro looked up, waiting for more information. Nijimura complied, carrying on, 'When we've lost contact with Kagami, I've immediately dispatched exorcists to search for him, fearing of a demon attack. We couldn't find him for more than 24 hours, however, then it happened.'
Himuro's brow rose, 'Massive blue flames were burning, lighting the whole Tokyo in blue colour. The flames couldn't be missed. We've sent our forces, however, when they arrived it was too late. All they saw were demons fleeing the scene of the crime.'
Nijimura narrowed his eyes, 'When they arrived, they saw the demon king, standing on the roof of a building next to the flames, with a specific message.'
'Message? Did he wait on purpose?' Until the exorcists arrived?
'Yes. His message is… "Don't follow".'
'Don't follow…' Himuro sighed. The message is clear and precise however… there was no way Nijimura would follow it. Which leads him to one question…
'What do we do now Shuu? Now that Taiga is with them, that means Kuroko is safe, am I right? It should load some concern off our shoulders.' At least the bluenette wasn't all alone with the demons.
'You're right.' Nijimura turned his chair to face the window, looking outside into the distance. He didn't like it… He didn't like it at all…
'However, they came back to Tokyo and managed to evade us. That comes with a consequence.' Himuro watched his commander in worry, but then again there was nothing to worry about. With Kagami and Kuroko side by side, they will manage to fend off against anything that comes their way.
The room was silent as Himuro began flipping through some more papers for Nijimura to sign. However, suddenly his phone peeped.
Who could it be? Himuro wondered as he reached out into his pocket, Nijimura glancing at him from the side. He opened his phone but as he did, it hit him. A text message… from Kagami!
Himuro looked up at Nijimura, their eyes exchanging any kind of message that needed to be conveyed. Himuro looked back at his phone, opening the message to read;
"We're fine. Don't worry about us Tatsuya. Leave everything to me."
Ah, such a confident text. It sounded just like his brother. Himuro smiled, glad that his brother didn't forget to contact him. He looked up, his eyes meeting Nijimura's own. He nodded, pressing the button on his phone, 'Coordinates tracked.'
His brother was caring but it could be just that kindness that will be the end of him.

"Message Sent"
Was the text that appeared on Kagami's phone before he flipped it close. He sighed, getting this troublesome task off his chest. At least now Himuro wouldn't worry as much… But then Kagami felt a kick to his knee, which mind you is the 100th kick in a row!
The exorcist turned to the side annoyedly, noticing that Aomine was still asleep! Snoring and kicking like a horse! Seriously, this demon is nothing but trouble. Kagami pushed him aside with force, managing to push the demon to the other side of his chair.
'Hmmm~ Boobs…' Aomine muttered in his sleep, annoying Kagami who was forced to listen to this pervert and his perverted dreams. He turned to see the two empty seats before him. Akashi and Kuroko still didn't come back? What's taking them so long? He wondered to himself before he was kicked again.
xXx
'Akashi-kun,.. May I ask what you're doing?' Kuroko deadpanned, looking down at the redhead who was kneeling down before him. In the bathroom of the train, locked inside one cabin together. Kuroko tugged on his shirt, pulling it down while Akashi tried to pull it up.
'I feel as if we've found ourselves in a sort of a déjà vu, dear Tetsuya. However, this time please comply.'
'No.' Was the immediate answer, 'I feel as if Akashi-kun is much of a bigger pervert than I thought.' Especially considering the situation they're in.
'I'm not a pervert Tetsuya. Now please cooperate.'
'No.' Again, an immediate answer.
The redhead demon sighed, looking up at his contractor with a much more serious look, 'All jokes aside, I need to check your seal, and I don't mean my own.' Akashi's words confused the exorcist, 'What do you mean Akashi-kun?'
Mismatched eyes met teal blue ones, expressing the seriousness of the situation by the gaze alone, 'They've placed their seal on you Tetsuya. The same seal I've placed on you many years ago. Now please, let me see it.'
Kuroko stared at the redhead for a while, processing the information he was told. A second seal? Did it happen when he was kidnapped? Kuroko's hands lost their resolve, letting Akashi push up his shirt to reveal his chest.
Kuroko watched in uncertainty as the demon placed his hands on Kuroko's chest, closing his eyes as he did. His hands began to glow in a bright crimson red color that made the crimson seal of the same color surface. The crimson seal glowed, however; soon enough another color emerged as well.
A new, golden seal appeared on the exorcist's chest, located just on the lines of the crimson seal. The crimson seal was much bigger in size but within it, just on the border was the golden seal. Both of the seals glowed brightly in color, covering the whole bathroom in their color.
Akashi narrowed his eyes in displeasure, disgusted by the sight of the golden seal. He… He will pay… Akashi clenched his hands into fists, looking up at the golden seal while thinking of ways to get rid of it.
While Akashi was in fury, Kuroko was in shock. Now he had two seals on him? What does that mean? Will it have consequences on his body? Furthermore, if it's the seal of the enemy, what power do they have over him exactly?
'Akashi-kun what does this mean?' He looked up at the redhead, seeking an answer. The demon's gaze was strong, so strong that it made Kuroko raise a brow, 'Akashi-kun?' He waved his hand before the demon, which finally grabbed his attention, 'Yes?'
'What does this mean? What consequences does the golden seal have?' Could they control him possibly?
Akashi's eyes met Kuroko's own before they moved back onto the golden seal. The demon king placed his hand on the seal which made Kuroko flinch from the touch, 'It means that they have the right to devour your soul.'
Kuroko's eyes widened further, more than worried, 'Devour my soul?'
'Yes. They could do you harm as well by having their seal on you but essentially what matters the most is the seal's effect on the soul. You see, when we place it on humans, it means that we've market them as ours, meaning other demons have to stay away. However, that absolute law of our world is ignored by the corrupted.'
Disgusting… 'They ignore the concept of seals and place it even on humans that already have it. If it happens then not only does each demon receive half of the soul but it damages to the soul itself as well.'
'How so?' Kuroko quickly asked, his concern growing as Akashi spoke.
'Take it as a tag of war for example. Both ends of the rope are being pulled, which eventually leads to the rope being broken or split into two. Completely tearing it apart. The same applies to the soul. Two demons try to dominate it and mark it as theirs, resulting in a battle of whits.'
The exorcist listened in eagerly, 'The two forces battle, tearing and damaging the soul as they do, and eventually when the human dies, each side consumes the quantity they have won over the human's lifespan. However, that battle of dominance plagues the human as well, causing illnesses or unrests within the human's body.'
Akashi looked up at his contractor, 'And if the two forces are powerful then they could destroy the soul completely, tearing it to shreds. If that is done then the human cannot be reborn.'
Cannot be reborn… Those words rung in Kuroko's ears like a bell. Cannot be reborn… Destroyed… 'Will I die?'
'Not if I have a say in it.' Kuroko looked up, a spark of hope emerging from Akashi's confident voice. The demon returned his eyes onto the seal, concentrating on his hand. He closed his eyes as his hand began to glow in crimson red color.
Kuroko watched as the crimson seal responded to its master's will, making Kuroko flinch. He felt it… The weight of the crimson seal as it began to morph and move throughout his body.
The red seal changed its shape, pushing the golden seal that was within, forcing it to shrink in size as the crimson seal itself expanded further. While it trapped the golden seal in a circular cage, it created new lines outside which followed Kuroko's body.
Kuroko flinched in pain, clenching his hands as he watched crimson lines move along his two hands. Each hand had one red line that stretched up to his wrists, just like his legs which had the two same lines which stretched up to Kuroko's knees.
The seal ceased its movement but maintained its glow. The pain slowly went away, allowing Kuroko to open his eyes fully. Although Akashi had his still closed, focusing on the seal that still glowed.
After about a minute, the glow ceased as both the crimson seal and the golden seal disappeared, hiding within Kuroko's body as if they were never there. Akashi opened his eyes, moving his hand away.
'What did you do?' Kuroko asked while the demon looked up at him, 'I enlarged my seal. Since I'm its rightful owner, I have the power to dictate how much of an influence it should have on your body. At first I had just planned to mark you as mine but given the current circumstances, I had to escalate to a new level. Now, I have much more of my power within you, which means that with more of my power, the stronger it will be against the golden seal.'
'I see.' It does make sense, so this way, Akashi's power would be able to negate that of the golden seal, or at least minimize it.
The demon lowered his head in thought while Kuroko pulled down his shirt, 'Akashi-kun?'
The demon king closed his eyes but opened them again when he stood up. He placed his hand on Kuroko's hair, ruffling it, 'Don't worry Tetsuya. With me by your side, there's nothing to worry about.'
'I know.'
Akashi looked at his contractor in surprise, 'The same goes to Akashi-kun. Don't underestimate me please.'
The demon smirked, of course, he can't forget that.
Kuroko reached out to the door, unlocking it, "Now please get out. It would be strange if we both go at the same time.'
Hoo~ 'And why is that? I don't mind going out with you at all.'
'But I do. Please get out Akashi-kun.' But when he received another smirk from the demon, Kuroko pushed him away, immediately closing the door once the demon was out.
Akashi's teasing smirk widened, looking at the door. His contractor is really something else. How amusing.
Although… that golden seal is more than troublesome.
xXx
'Finally! What took you so long!?' Kagami's inner self cheered when he saw his human partner in crime arrive with his own demon. Finally, salvation from this dream world maniac demon! Ah, not to mention pervert!
'I apologize Kagami-kun but Akashi-kun had to use the bathroom urgently. There was no helping it.' The said demon gave his contractor a look, 'And you had to be there as well?' He teasingly asked his contractor. He wouldn't let Kuroko put the blame on him that easily.
'Huh? Didn't Akashi-kun say that he needed me?' Kuroko fought back.
'Not at all. As a matter of fact, why don't you tell them that we both went in? Not to mention at the same time.' The truth is always the most effective weapon.
'I don't know what you're talking about.' Kuroko pushed it off as he sat down, Akashi doing the same, moving to sit beside his contractor.
'Don't lie Tetsuya. Tell him what we di-'
'Ahhh! Okay! Okay! I get it! I don't care what you two did! As long as you're here right now! This sloth demon has been bugging me ever since you left!' Kagami slightly raised his voice which quickly grabbed the attention of others around them.
Kuroko quickly hit Kagami's leg as a warning but… 'Aww! What wa- Ughhh!' Kuroko quickly put his hand over Kagami's mouth as the humans around them stared. The exorcist was already proving to be troublesome.
Akashi sighed before turning to smile at the rest, 'We apologize for disturbing. Our companion here has behavior issues.' And with that, slowly the gazes went away.
Kuroko let go of Kagami who was fuming, 'Yeah. I'm the one with behavior issues alright.' The giant redhead frowned, turning to look at the window. Then he received another kick, 'Stop it already!'
Kagami had raised his voice again but this time, a talisman was sent flying his way, preventing him from opening his mouth any further. 'Hmmm!' Kagami quickly tried getting it off but hit the tanned demon that was beside him in the process, waking him up.
'W-Whoa! W-What's happening!?' Aomine loudly asked as both Kuroko and Akashi deadpanned, the two troublemakers quickly getting into a fight.
'What are you saying?'
'Hmmmm!'
'Shit sherlock! I don't understand a damn thing you said!'
'Hmmm!'
Akashi had enough. The demon hid his hand down so that the people around them didn't see when he used his power. His hand began to glow, moving both Aomine and Kagami's heads to bump into one another, knocking them out.
Kuroko sighed. Was the rest of their journey going to be like this? He could only hope it wouldn't be. The attention that was on them broke, and soon enough, all of the eyes were off them. The two idiots were given some time to cool off before Kuroko dispelled the talisman that was on Kagami's mouth.
'Finally. I thought I was going to die.' The redhead exorcist grumbled.
'You won't die Kagami-kun, please don't exaggerate.'
Kagami folded his arms, feeling betrayed but unlike Kagami, Aomine wasn't as bothered. The tanned demon yawned as he stretched out his arms, 'So? What do we do now? Where are we going anyway?'
Akashi touched his forehead, feeling a headache coming already. Although he supposed he should inform everyone of their plans once again, 'We're heading to Akita, just as I've told you on the train station before. I've managed to track down Atsushi's location, which means that we'll be going to him first.'
Kuroko listened in closely but was a bit confused, "What about Kise-san? Didn't we promise Midorima-kun that we would find him and bring them the plant they need?' If they don't hurry, then Takao's life might be in danger.
'Kise?' Aomine looked up which surprised the rest since the demon was asleep for most of the time, 'Is something wrong Daiki?' Now that Akashi thought about it, Aomine was the last person to have contact with the blonde demon.
'Do you know where Ryouta is?' If so then they could change their course and find Kise first.
'Che…' Aomine lowered his head low, scratching his neck as he stared at the floor. Kise… 'I do know… Kise and I… we came to the human world together.'
'What?' Kuroko asked in surprise, 'Then you know where Kise-san is?'
'No.' An answer nobody expected, and before they could even ask why, Aomine went on.
'When we came in through the gate, we were attacked by Noir exorcists. We were separated and… I don't know what happened but I somehow ended up in the streets of Tokyo. Huh? Wait… Why didn't I remember before?' Did he forget? No, even he couldn't forget something so important. He wasn't that stupid.
Akashi's gaze was on the tanned demon, theories and assumptions already formulating in his mind, 'You were influenced by a very powerful memory spell. Not as powerful as the one used on Tetsuya but powerful in its own right.'
If it was a memory spell then would that mean that Aomine has amnesia? Kuroko turned to Akashi to ask but the demon was already a step ahead of him, 'Yes. It seems that Daiki does have amnesia however…' Akashi's eyes narrowed, 'He has memory loss only on one specific event. Meaning that the memory of him coming into the human world was erased.'
'Erased?' Aomine finally looked up, 'But why that specific event only?'
Akashi tapped his fingers against his hand, thinking of the most probable answer, 'Because you escaped. Perhaps you may have seen something Noir didn't want you to inform others about.' If so, then Noir itself may have meddled with Kise and Aomine's gate, changing its coordinates from the demon world to bring them to one specific location.
But why? Why would they go through such lengths?
'Then… Kise might be in trouble then! If I escaped then does that mean that Kise was captured?' Aomine slightly raised his voice but when Akashi gave him a deadly look, he clenched his hands in frustration.
'I don't know but if my assumptions are correct then that may very well be the case. However, there is also a chance that Ryouta escaped as well. In which case, he could be in the same situation you were in as well.' At this point they can't rule out anything.
'Shit!' Aomine clenched his fists in frustration. If only he could remember all of the answers would come to him… Damn that Shirogane… Ah! Now that he remembered… 'Akashi.' He gave his king a look that Akashi knew very well.
The two demons have known each other for many centuries so by now, they know each other like an open book. Well, at least that applies to Akashi. The redhead knew what that look meant, nodding in return.
'For now we'll have to focus on the task at hand and find Atsushi. It's our only option in the situation we're in.' Akashi turned to Kuroko and Kagami who nodded. Although Kuroko couldn't help but feel helpless. If they don't hurry, then who knows what might happen to Takao. He saved his life… he can't let him die like this.
The atmosphere around the group was tense; their very situation pressured them to act fast. But with so little information, they had no choice but to follow their current lead. It was frustrating… the fact that Noir influences their course of action in such a manner… forced memory loss.
Kagami didn't like the tension at all and so he decided to change it, 'So we're going all the way to Akita? It's freezing out there!' He grumbled, thinking about the cold. Especially at this time of the year!
The two demons and Kuroko looked up at Kagami with a sigh, but Kuroko agreed. Not that it was cold in Akita, but that they needed to change the mood, 'Is that so?'
'Yeah! It's c-o-l-d!' Kagami stressed.
Aomine was still in thought but Kagami's wines did distract him a tad bit, 'It's not tha-' Aomine froze, his eyes wide.
'What's wrong Daiki?' Akashi asked on behalf of everyone as Aomine stood up from his seat. The tanned demon looked around frantically before looking out the window, 'We're jumping off the train.'
'We're what!?' Kagami, Kuroko and Akashi were all surprised. Why? 'What happened Aomine-kun? Why?'
Aomine glared outside at a small town his demon eyes could see in the distance. That town… it's definitely coming from there… This presence…
Akashi raised a brow but then he felt it as well. The presence of a demon… and not any ordinary demon…
'I said we're jumping off! Get up idiot!'
'Huh! Don't call me an idiot! I'm your contractor so you'll listen to me!'
'Huh!? That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard!' Aomine raised his voice but looked back at the town. Che… At this rate the train will pass it.
'Come on princess. If you won't come then it can't be helped. Don't blame me.' Aomine suddenly moved, picking up his stubborn contractor to carry the exorcist bridal style.
'O-Oi! Let me down!' kagami trashed around, protesting while Aomine quickly carried him through the wagon, Akashi and Kuroko following behind.
'What happened Akashi-kun?' Kuroko asked as they hurriedly walked through the seats of the wagon with the other passengers watching them yet again.
'There's a demonic presence in that town in the distance.' Akashi pointed to the said town but Kuroko could barely see it.
'But why are we stopping here when we have to find Atsushi-san?' Kuroko didn't see the point.
Akashi smirked as they slowly neared the end of the wagon, 'Trust me when I say this Tetsuya, even though it may sound far fetched, Daiki's instinct has some merit in it.'
Kuroko raised a brow, 'I don't understand.'
'It is hard to at first but it's the only noteworthy quality that Daiki has. Whenever his instinct tells him something, it's usually correct and so he always follows it. It's saved him from many death encounters in the past.'
Kuroko pouted, 'I still don't understand.'
'That's alright.' Akashi pulled on Kuroko's hand as the two idiots, Aomine and Kagami, ran before them to reach the end of the train and jump, 'Let the idiots jump. We'll get off our own way.'
Kuroko was confused yet again but then saw Akashi's hand glowing in its crimson red color. Kuroko quickly closed his eyes when he saw the crimson power expand but then when he opened his eyes again… wind? He was outside!
Kuroko looked to the sides to see that he was standing right beside the railway tracks! On the small white rocks, noticing that the train is just about to pass them! he quickly covered his face to shield it from the strong winds as the train passed them.
WOSHH!
And it did, the train went past them when suddenly…
"WHOAAA! YOU'RE AN IDIOT!' Kuroko heard Kagami's voice right next to him and then a very loud thud as both the exorcist and the tanned demon fell into the bushes. Akashi and Kuroko stared at the two on the ground, and unlike them, they harboured not a single scratch or a wound.
'K-Kagami-kun? Are you okay?' Kuroko worriedly asked as he approached the giant redhead who grumbled. Kagami slowly opened his eyes, grumbling further when he felt his body itch all over, 'No! I'm definitely not okay!' He complained but then noticed Kuroko…
'Huh? Didn't you jump as well?' Why was he hurt all over and Kuroko didn't even have a scratch on him?
'I didn't jump. Akashi-kun teleported us outside.'
'What! Oi! Why didn't we do that too!' Kagami annoyedly turned towards Aomine who was dusting his pants, 'Don't blame me! We're out aren't we!? That's all that matters.'
'Y-You…' Kagami was annoyed but Aomine didn't care. He couldn't get his eyes off that small town in the distance. He could feel it… her demonic presence… as if she was calling for him…
Akashi approached Aomine, looking at the town as well, 'It's definitely her. Now that we're outside, I can feel her presence clearly.' Akashi's mismatched eyes moved onto Aomine, 'Did you know she was here?'
'No but we'll find out.' There was no way he would just pass this town by without receiving any answers.
xXx
The night way young and the breeze was cold. Silence. That was the only sound that could be heard in the small town of Yamagata. The town was small but yet it still had all the necessities to accommodate human life.
Hospitals, schools, family houses, but not only that, it also had many other interesting buildings as well that would serve more as an attraction than an actual necessity. Banks, cinemas and even a museum.
It's that very museum that caught the eye of a very devious devil. Curious and intrigued, the devil sat on the top of the museum tower, looking down at the beautiful view of the city under her. Truly, those humans really seemed like small ants under her feet, especially now that she was so high.
She saw many humans crawl around a stop light, waiting for that mysterious device to change it's color from red to green. When it did, in went the humans, walking around like ants that were let out.
She giggled, moving her legs to cover the small ants as if she was stomping on them in her walk. Boring. She stood up, looking down through the glass roof of the tower to see the inside. The humans whom she knew were the police were slowly informing the guests that it was closing time.
The museum slowly emptied and the lights were switched off. Now, it was her time to shine. She raised her hand that glowed in bright pink rose color before she suddenly disappeared.
When she appeared again, it was inside of the museum itself. Too easy. She walked through the sensors like a cat, knowing where every single red detector was. He moved her body to the left and then to the right, down and up, even jumping when she needed to.
She danced her way through to the treasure she was searching for. He eyes feasted upon a beautiful large blue gem that was displayed in a glass case, lights shining on it to enhance it's beauty.
She stared at it, however, much to your thought, she didn't look at it with wonder. On the other hand, she was relieved. She had finally found what she was searching for. With that out of the way, she would be able to complete her mission easily.
The demon smiled, disappearing in the glow of her own power before appearing again next to the blue gem.
BEEEEEP! BEEEEP!
The alarm was turned on, ringing for everyone to hear. However, her plan was not ruined. She had planned to set it off purposely. With that done as well, she disappeared yet again. This time, taking the gem with her.
xXx
'Oi! Where are we going!?'
'Shut up! Just follow me! My guts are always right!'
'Guts? Don't tell me…'
'Apparently Aomine-kun is very reliable at times like these. Don't worry Kagami-kun.'
"How can I not worry!' The redhead exorcist complained as the group ran through the small town. They had arrived by Akashi's transportation but now; they had to carry on by foot.
'She's near I know it!' Aomine ran as fast as he could with the group running after him.
'Slow down! What are you looking for!?' Kagami panted, barely managing to keep up.
'Satsuki…' Aomine uttered under his breath but it only motivated him to run faster. The two humans already felt the pressure on their legs and began losing strength. Especially Kuroko who had a horrible stamina to begin with.
Akashi noticed and quickly ran up to him, picking him up bridal style before continuing his run, 'That wasn't necessary Akashi-kun.' Kuroko complained, covering his mouth with his hand to stop himself from throwing up.
'You welcome love.' Akashi teased as he ran. By now it was impossible for any human to keep up, meaning one member of the group had been left behind, 'Oi! You forgot something!' Kagami panted, stopping because he couldn't take it any longer. Damn those demons!
Aomine, Akashi and Kuroko continued on running when suddenly they all heard an alarm go off.
BEEEEEP! BEEEEP!
'Huh? An alarm?' Aomine confusingly asked as Kuroko looked into the distance to see the museum lights all light up. Was it a burglar? 'That's a security alarm.' He informed the two demons who suddenly felt a gush of demonic energy near them. It was coming from the museum!
They quickly turned to head towards the said building, running as fast as they could. Why the museum? Why would a demon be there? Kuroko wondered when Aomine suddenly stopped in his tracks, Akashi doing the same.
'Akashi-kun? Aomine-kun?' Kuroko confusingly looked at them both but then it hit him… Demonic energy… and it was nearby. At this distance, even Kuroko could feel it.
'She's here.' Aomine turned before running towards a different direction. Akashi with Kuroko in his arms followed. They turned a corner and then two, until they arrived at the black alleys. They went in, running, but it was then that Aomine saw it. The ends of pink hair that was disappearing behind the corner.
Aomine quickly ran, faster than he had ever before. He managed to catch up to the pink hair he saw, creating a gust of wind in the process. Before he would turn the corner, Aomine had bumped into someone and fell down on the ground.
Akashi ran towards the tanned demon but it was then when he approached that he saw her. The demon with pink hair was brushing her bottom that she had hit when she fell down on the ground.
'Satsuki?' Aomine's eyes were wide as he stared ahead at his childhood friend and right hand, Momoi Satsuki.
The pinkette flinched, startled by the familiar voice. She slowly tilted her head up; afraid to see who was the owner of the voice, even though she already knew. How could she not now?
'D-Dai-chan?'

'Oi! Satsuki! Are you out of your mind!?'
'No! You're the one who's out of their mind Dai-chan! Let go!'
"Hah!? As if I will!'
'Let go!'
Akashi, Kuroko and Kagami watched as Aomine held onto Momoi's leg, the said pinkette demon holding onto the roof of a building.
'Akashi-kun, should we intervene?'
The demon king shook his head, 'Leave them be Tetsuya. It's wise not to interfere.'
Kuroko and Kagami deadpanned, watching the two argue before their eyes. Really, was this even an enemy?
'Pink panties for the day? That's shady Satsuki.'
