It was the day of the wedding. Kurt was really nervous, but he was also too excited to be; Blaine was the same way. It was a few months of preparation in getting ready, but luckily Andy and the girls were a big help with it.
Kurt was surprised at first because it was so sudden after they found out Max Harrison was being put away for life. But when he saw the look on his and Blaine's kids—son to also be his—he knew that they were apart of Blaine's proposal plan.
And he loved Blaine too much to turn him down.
Kurt was getting ready in one room—of course he took a little longer to get ready. Andy came in as Kurt was finishing up and when he saw his son, he smiled. "You look so handsome." Kurt commented and Andy grinned and chuckled a bit.
"You're the one that is getting married." Andy replied and Kurt laughed, that was true. But Andy's big day would be there before they knew it.
"And soon it will be your turn." Kurt said and Andy laughed—he certainly wasn't ready for that. But thinking ahead, he couldn't help but picture Taylor in a bride's dress; he knew she would look as beautiful as ever.
"You ready?" Andy asked and then looked at his son. He sighed—it was a happy sigh—Andy has come a long way in the past few months. When they first moved here, he was a mess. And a to think a few months ago, he was the boy hiding all his pain behind an attitude and on the side lines making some bad decisions. But now he saw a different person; the Andy he always knew.
"Yeah." Kurt said taking a breath as his arm wrapped around his son and he led him downstairs.
Blaine watched as Taylor stood by him in a beautiful light blue dress and holding flowers. He let out another breath, waiting for Kurt—he just couldn't wait to actually be married to him. A few months ago he was a single father, one of his daughters was angry—or at least seemed that way. Now he could see that she was happy—Gem was definitely happy. And Taylor was the same, but of course he knew that she was happier because of Andy. To think how much Kurt and his family changed him and his family—and vice versa—is crazy; he wouldn't have it any other way.
He watched as his parents, and his brother Cooper came in. Followed by some other relatives. Close friends from high school—Nick and Jeff who are now married. He then saw Kurt's family—his step mother, father, and his step brother. Then he saw many others that had to be friends of Kurt from High School and then Jan and her daughter Cleo.
The music started and Blaine looked ahead as Bridget and Gem then came through aisle—they were the flower girls. He smiled as they came through tossing flowers and looking so beautiful. Once they were done, Gem went standing with Taylor and Bridget on the opposite side.
Kurt and Andy came walking down the aisle and Blaine smiled—he could cry. Kurt could almost cry too, but he wasn't going to do that now. Once they reached Blaine and the girls, Andy stood beside him with Bridget next to him.
"We are gathered here today, to celebrate the marriage of Kurt Elizabeth Hummel and Blaine Devon Anderson." The minister started off by saying. It was time for the vows—Blaine wanted to go first.
"Kurt, we met how I meet most people. You came into my office because of a toothache." He started off and some people laughed, including Kurt. "I wouldn't have said it then but from the minute I first saw you, I knew you were something special. Then we talked and then I met Bridget…" He said, smiling at that eleven girl—whom they had a special connection. "…and eventually Andy." They laughed a little—Andy did too. "Our bond just kept building and my love for you and your kids kept growing. But what I never expected was for you to fix my family. Yes Kurt Hummel, you filled the hole in my family." He said and everyone laughed again.
Now it was Kurt's turn; he wondered if his would be as good. "When I first saw you I thought, "Damn my dentist is hot!" Everyone laughed, Blaine had to really contain himself. "When we started dating I didn't think it would go well because my last one ended…not so great. I always thought I wasn't good enough, but Blaine Anderson you made me realize that I am." Blaine smiled wider and Andy looked at his sister and put an arm around her.
"And then you met—which I knew would be no problem…" Bridget smiled—she knew what he was talking about. "…Andy I figured might be a bit difficult…" Andy grinned at that—he could be pain if 'he wanted to'. "…but there is something you did…something amazing. You gave me my family back too. For a long time they were different and I didn't know why exactly. But you…not just you—you and your daughters—without you three I don't know if I ever would have known how much my family truly was suffering…"
"…Now I stand her with my children, Andy and Bridget, and I think we can all see a difference. They are both happy and no longer any pain. And now I look at your daughters, Taylor and Gem and I can't for us all of us to be a big family. And I am going to stop talking now because I don't know how much longer I can wait not being married to you."
They looked out and people were in tears—from beautiful and also some laughter. Then the minister smiled at them once again. "Blaine, do you take Kurt as your husband?"
"I do." Blaine said.
"…and Kurt, do you take Blaine as your husband?"
"I do." Kurt said.
"By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you, husband and husband. You may kiss the groom." He said and Blaine wrapped his arms around Kurt and he did the same and they kissed—they were now married and truly a family.
And that's it! Kurt and Blaine are now married and they are a family!
