"Dad?" Hilary asks from the backseat of the car.
"Yes?" Deeks replies, as he continues driving.
"Did you used to kiss Mum like you do Kensi?" She asks him.
Deeks looks at her through the mirror, "Yes" he replies, wondering why she was asking.
"Is that how you and Mum had me?"
"What? Uhm… You… yes, let's go with that" Deeks replies, rumbled by the question.
"Are you going to have a baby with Kensi?" Hilary asks hopefully.
"What? Where is this coming from?" Deeks asks.
"I want a little sister, not another brother, got it?"
"Kensi and I are not planning on having children, at least not yet"
"When will she next come over?" Hilary continues questioning.
"Hil, I don't know. She's busy, probably wont be for a few months" Deeks informs her.
"Months? Why? Will she be back for Christmas? That is only 12 weekends until Christmas" Hilary informs him.
"12 weeks? Really?" Deeks says to himself "And, I don't think Kensi will be around before or on Christmas. She's gone away for a bit"
"Like Mum has gone away?" Hilary asks him, saddened by the news.
Deeks sighs, "Yes, like Mum" he tells her as he pulls up to her school. He turns around and looks at her.
"When can I see Mum?" Hilary asks him.
"I don't know" Deeks answers.
"You don't know anything" Hilary complains.
"Watch your tone" Deeks says lightly, "I will get back to you about visiting your Mum, okay?"
Hilary nods and grabs her bags, "Okay. When can I see James and Dad?"
"Julian is picking you up from school. You're staying with him and James tonight, remember?" Deeks reminds her, hiding the fact that she hates her calling somebody else 'Dad'.
"Really? I thought I dreamt that! I love you!" Hilary tells him, sliding out of the car.
"Love you too, princess!" Deeks calls through before waiting for her to walk into the school and driving off.

Deeks had been waiting outside Kensi's home for 4 hours now, waiting for her to get home. He knew she was starting her uncover work tomorrow and from then on he wouldn't be allowed to contact her without endangering the whole operation. He just needed to make sure she knew that he would wait for her. He was starting to consider leaving, due to it getting later and the fact that he really needed to use the bathroom when she pulled up.
He watched her get out of the car and was relieved when she was alone. After she walked into her house, he got up and followed her. He was about to knock on the door when it opened.
"Why were you staking out my house?" Kensi asks him.
"I wasn't… I was waiting for you to get home" Deeks replies quickly, he was distracted because she looked so hot when she was angry.
"You're lucky I recognised your car" Kensi informs him, before offering him to come in.
Deeks walks in with a smile, "How was work?"
"It was fine, what are you doing here?" Kensi asks him, closing the door.
"Just… Could I use your bathroom for a second?" Deeks ask.
"Excuse me? You're here to use my bathroom?" Kensi asks, confused.
"I am not here to use your bathroom, I just happen to need to use your bathroom while I am here" Deeks tells her.
Kensi looks at him weirdly, before waving her hand, giving him permission to go.
"Thanks" Deeks says, walking to her bathroom quickly.
Kensi rolls her eyes and walks to her fridge to get something to eat.

When Deeks returned from the bathroom, Kensi was already sitting down, with two beers and some leftovers on the table in front of her, she had already started eating, "Hungry, I see" he teases, walking over and sitting next to her.
"So hungry, I haven't eaten since 11am" Kensi tells him.
"Wow, you must have been intolerable" Deeks comments, grinning at her as he picks up a beer.
Kensi glares at him, before taking another large bite of her food.
Deeks laughs, "Classy" he jokes.
"Shut up"
Deeks laughs again, "I just want to make sure we all good before you go undercover" he tells her, taking a swig of the drink.
"Yeah, we're good. Are you good?" Kensi asks him
"Yeah, I'm good, are you good?" Deeks replies
"I'm good" Kensi replies.
"Good" Deeks adds, letting them fall into a momentary silence, "I can't believe you are eaten left over Chinese, please tell me that it's no more than a day old"
"I brought it yesterday" Kensi says, gently hitting his shoulder.
"Are you sure?" Deeks criticises looking into the pot.
"Stay away from my food" Kensi threatens lightly, holding the pot of food away from him.
"It's all yours darling, I wouldn't touch that" Deeks laughs, holding his hands up in surrender.
Kensi finishes the food quickly in a few bites.
"Don't forget to breath" Deeks interjects.
Kensi glares at him, tossing the pot into the bin.
"I just don't want you to choke" Deeks laughs.
"Where is Hilary?" Kensi asks, mainly out of curiosity.
"She is staying at Julian's for the night" Deeks replies, "It is just you and me… and no little kids with cameras"
Kensi laughs and shakes her head slightly, "She is so sneaky"
"She is, one of the traits she learnt from me" he says, leaning a bit closer.
"I'm not sure if that is a good or bad thing" Kensi teases.
"Trust me, being sneaky is a good thing" Deeks tells her before leaning the rest of the way and kissing her.
Kensi instantly brings her hand up to the side of his head and kisses him back.
Deeks pulls away just enough to say, "I'll be waiting for you"
Kensi pulls him into a deeper kiss for a few minutes, before pulling back and looking him in the eyes, "Good, because I'll be back."
