Ice ice baby

Juvia's wide eyes were unblinking. She's looking straight into Gray's face, waiting for some answers.

Gray felt his palms sweating. How can an innocent question like that stir him so bad?

"Gray-sama?" Juvia pouted, crossing her thin arms under her chest. "Juvia's asking you if her four year old self did some strange things?"

He gulped. Forehead heating. Raising a nervous eyebrow, he shot back a new question to her. "What do you think then?"

She tilted her head to the side confusedly. "Juvia doesn't know."

He sighed, looking away from her face.

"Then how about the things Juvia did?" she smiled sheepishly, waiting again for some answers.

"How is that different from your previous question?"

Her lips thined into a line, eyebrows shotting up. She shook her head, telling him that she's not going to answer his question.

"Fine." he gruffly scratched the back of his head, facing her lazily. "You are the most stubborn kid that I've met."

Juvia's shock was evident to her face. "H-how...?" Well, the water mage was one hundred percent sure that she behaves very well when she was just a child as long as she can remember.

"You cry all the time if we don't give what you want. Then you like to be carried all the time." he stopped for a moment, watching her face for a second. When her expression didn't change, he continued. "It's annoying."

"Eh?" she leaned back on her chair, her lips formed opened from disbelieve.

He smiled to himself.

Quickly, she leaned back on the table and gave him a sure smile. "Juvia's not like that. I don't believe you."

He lifted an eyebrow, urging her to continue.

"Juvia's sure that she didn't acted like a brat, you see..." she heaved a sigh before explaining more. "She was alone all the time, Juvia is shy around people. And she's doesn't demand for attention because she knew that she's being a bother because of her rain."

"Speaking of rain," she stopped, looking back at Gray shyly. "Was Juvia surrounded by rain during that time? Did she bothered you, Gray-sama?" her eyes glowed hopefully that he will not give her the answer that she doesn't want to hear from him.

He thought for a moment, there was definitely no signs of rain during that time.

His black eyes studied her face carefully. She looked up at him, daring to look brave for his answer.

"Actually..." Gray was feeling so guilty. "You are reserved all the time. You liked playing by yourself at first, but when you became comfortable around me, you started asking me to play with you all the time." he confessed.

"There's no rain during that time Juvia." he answered, looking at her blue hair on top of her head. He missed seeing it long anyways.

Her back straightened. "A-are you sure, Gray-sama?

He nodded, leaning on the table, feeling brave about his feelings at the moment.

"You like to drink orange juice every morning."

Her eyes widened, a faint memory of her childhood came in a rush inside her head.

"You like hair accessories the most. It's weird you even made me wear one."

She bit her lip.

"You-" he stopped, taking in her appearance in front of him. "You look so adorable all the time."

Her eyes widened at that. Her cheeks blossomed healthily. "B-but how come Juvia doesn't remember anything?"

He thought for a moment. He doesn't know the answer so he proceeded on. "Do you know that I found it hard to adjust after you went back to normal?" He looked up, thinking carefully. "Don't laugh." he warned her when he saw the corner of her lips lifting in a subtle manner. She immediately clamped her lips together, but her eyes remained smiling at him.

"I'm doing my best to be honest here." he accused her, rolling his eyes.

"I know, Gray-sama." Juvia smiled softly, lacing her fingers together on top of the table. Gray's eyes found it's movement then he looked down on his own hand on his lap.

He imagined her thin hands enveloped inside his larger one. He smiled.

"Juvia is happy to know that you noticed small things about her during that time." she grinned, blushing cutely. The guild doors opened, Erza shouting in the background with Natsu.

Gray paid no attention to them.

"Here are your orders." Mira came to their table, holding two cups of coffee. She carefully laid the cups in front of them.

Juvia beamed at the barmaid, while Gray mumbled a small 'thank you' to her.

He fixed his gaze on his coffee, not aware with Mirajane's knowing blue eyes. "You're very welcome, Gray." then she stepped out and proceeded to the counter.

Juvia stirred her coffee first before sipping. Gray watched her carefully.

Her eyes shifted to him, she smiled. "Why is Gray-sama looking at Juvia?"

He shrugged, smiling down on his coffee.

"Juvia's wondering, what if it was Gray-sama who drank the potion instead?" she wondered, asking innocently. "Juvia's curious, she would like to see you in that form." she giggled next.

He scowled. "Don't joke like that." he brought the cup to his lips. "I'm not that stupid to drink some," he sipped his coffee."strange potion." he gulped. He sipped again. "Unlike you." he inhaled. "Will you be more careful next time? Not eveything she gives you," he pointed his thumb on his back, pointing at Mirajane who is now behind the bar counter. "-means you should accept or eat or drink," he emphasized. "Got it?"

Juvia nodded, assuring him. "Hai, hai~"

"Wait here for a while." he gave her a hard look. Her face frowned. "So hot..." he muttered, getting up while removing his coat in the process. He signaled to her that he's going to the restroom. She nooded, eyeing him carefully.

"Be careful, Gray-sama!" she half-shouted, when he turned into a corner. Juvia was not sure but she feels something weird with Gray's face just a moment ago.

A few minutes passed, Gray returned.

Juvia's eyes were like saucers, one hand cupping her mouth.

"What are you looking at?" Gray raised one short eyebrow, crossing his short, chubby arms in front of his tummy. "Juvia?" he asked with a small voice.

"You're so cute!" Juvia rushed to his side, quickly hugging him. Gray was squished, his cheek pushed embarrasingly on her bosom.

"W-what the hell!" he sputtered.

Then he noticed, looking down on his small hands. Juvia has hearts on her eyes, she was jumping in joy.

"Are you Gray-sama?" she squeaked happily. She hooked both her hands on his armpits. With careful movements, she lifted him up in the air, though he's a little heavy.

Mira, who was laughing behind the corner exclaimed. "You look so cute Gray!"

And Gray Fullbuster was turned into his five year old self. With clear memories and a small body.

"What the fuck!" he shouted, his face reddening when he saw his reflection on the nearby window.
