"…Which is why we are able to communicate on telephones. Would anyone else like to…" Videl tuned the teacher out, trying her best to not fall asleep. She stole a glance at the new guy, hoping no one would notice.

He was studying the board intently and was writing in the notebook. Erasa was gone today so she was more bored than usual, and she could see him easier. Her eyes widened when she saw that he wasn't writing the words on the board but was actually drawing the scenery from the other side of the room.

She didn't feel like making any fights about him just yet so she grabbed a piece of paper and scrawled 'Nice drawing.' On it. She tossed it over to him and saw his eyes settle onto the little piece of paper she threw. He opened it up and blushed lightly. He wrote something else on it and seemed ready to throw it back to her when he started to stare more intently at the paper.

She tried to sneak a peek at whatever it was he began to draw, but he wouldn't let her. The blush in his cheeks grew as his pencil moved some more on the small scrap of paper.

After about five minutes he sent the paper back to her, looking at her nervously as she opened it up.

On the outside under 'Nice drawing.' were the words 'Thanks. Personally I like this one better.' He sketched a small profile of her, showing her shoulders up.

She felt a blush starting to creep up into her cheeks but fought it down. The drawing didn't look like her - the girl had her clothes but it wasn't her. She didn't look that good, she saw herself in the mirror, she should know.

She grinned at Gohan lightly and grabbed another sheet of paper. She wrote 'Flattery will get you nowhere.'

When Gohan read the note his face went even redder than before but he wrote something on it and passed it back to her.

'Than why did you keep the picture?'

'^.^ Because I was flattered.' Gohan chuckled at that one and looked at Videl who was grinning freely at him. He grinned back to her and than ducked his head to write more on the paper.

'Nice to know - I'm moving better than I thought.'

'Don't flatter yourself!'

'-.-;;'

'^_~ Sorry, couldn't resist.'

'*Rolls eyes* Riiiiight…'

'No - Really!'

'Lol. So…'

'So…'

Gohan drew a rose on the paper the next time he got it and passed it back to Videl who's eyes widened at it. She tucked the rose into her pocket and grabbed another bit of clean paper to keep the 'rose' safe.

'What's the rose for?'
'It's a wooing attempt.'

'Wooing for what?'

'A date.'

'…'

'Please? Pretty please?' He drew a comical sundae on it with a big, fat, cherry on top. She instinctively put it into her pocket and grabbed another piece of paper.

'…uh…'

'That sounded smart.'

'You want a date or not?'

'Sorry ~.~'

'Aw…poor baby.'

'So…'

'So…'

'So…'

'Yes…'

'S- REALLY???'

'*rolls eyes* Yes.'

Videl looked at Gohan and grinned. He grinned back to her, but looked down at the paper again. He was drawing again Videl realized - what though she couldn't fathom.

When he passed the note back to her it was a picture of the Satan City Park, the part where the fountain was. He drew it like it was a postcard and had a watch 'laying over' it with the hands indicating 7:30. Under that in cursive was 'Today?'.

She tucked the picture into her jeans and nodded yes and watched as Gohan blushed again.

She looked back to the board, wondering why she agreed to the date in the first place but grinned lightly while sneaking another look to Gohan, thinking that it didn't really matter.
