Well, the wait wasn't AS LONG as before... But neither was the chapter...This is what I get for scheduling a side-chapter at the same time I have a research paper...

{Somewhere In Deep Space}
Dark... Dark and freezing. That was the expected conditions in the far reaches of space. Far from any star's warmth, this was a place where life didn't typically exist. Yet, somehow, something had managed to make its way there. Inexplicably alive in these conditions, the lost soul was left entirely alone with her thoughts.
"Clarity..." She thought, "How long has it been since... no... It doesn't matter. I need to get away."
The creature turned to see a small flicker in the distance, a star, and immediately started in the other direction.
"Went further than I thought last time... Stayed too..."
It was then she noticed debris floating around her.
Not far enough... I must stay away... The more I destroy the more likely my family will... aargh..."
The creature started to convulse.
"No.. Not now... I've come so far, just a little more... Need every star out of sight so I won't... ugh... gah... no... so close... aaah... forgi...ve... me... chi... graaa... aaa... GYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!"
A world orbited that distant star. The nature of this world and its inhabitants is not important aside from one key aspect. They were happy. It wasn't necessarily a perfect world; war, disease, and poverty all existed, but there was enough joy and love to overcome that. The general populace lived good lives, and anyone who had the ability feel emotional energy could feel the happiness radiating out of this world.
Now, we couldn't have that now, could we?
The creature was now visible by starlight; a giant, round, white form with eight free-floating angle wing-like structures that formed the shapes of two much larger wings. Above her floated a dim, multicolored halo. The bottom of her body sported some kind of vine-like tail covered in thorns and lotus-like blossoms, and her face was little more than two dot eyes and a large mouth eerily frozen in a smile.
The residence of the planet noticed the demon's approach, and hearing prior the rumors of a celestial destroyer, decided to take no chances. Before long, hundreds of missiles and energy blasts were launched from the surface.
"...typical..."
The creature shut its mouth, and then spat out thousands of little sparks that exploded on contact with projectiles, neutralizing them. This also revealed her "mouth" to be a large, scarlet eye with a grey iris and white pupil. She looked down on the planet as she came close to the atmosphere.
"...worthless...all of you..."
Sickly green magic poison seeped out of the lotuses on the demon's tail, filling the worlds air. It descended quickly enveloping the population before it could react.
"...all I ever wanted..."
The poison took effect immediately, forcing all people in the world to feel all the physical and emotional pain they had experienced throughout their lives, as well as that they inflicted others. Visions of the events filled their minds, being sure to make it all feel as real as possible.
"...the only thing that wouldn't cost you at all..."
The pain intensified as the poison caused them all to slowly rot away from the inside. The magic kept their nervous systems intact so they would feel the effects.
"...you denied my happiness..."
The effects weren't limited to animals. Plants and fungi withered, cells burst, buildings collapsed, mountains crumbled, seas and rivers went black.
"...return...you all...to zero...to nothing..."
After about two hours, the last stubborn life faded, leaving the world a rotten husk.
"...all...ends...aaah..."
The demon started to convulse yet again. The flowers on her tail indiscriminately shot out poison globs. She clearly didn't want to do this, nor did she have the energy to pump out so much toxin. Whatever shred of sanity this demon had was fighting, trying to remain in control.
It was clearly failing.
"...destroy...pain...sorrow...death...jealousy...revenge...crystal...staff..."
The demon started to cry as it spouted more of what anyone who didn't know of her would assume wa incoherent nonsense. Bloodstained tears from all three eyes stained the front of her body.
"...hate...love...Children...Shade...Miracle...Nebula...Gooey...why...?"
Her eyes shot open.
"Kirby!"
The demon fired a thin beam as red as her eye from the aforementioned organ, which utterly obliterated the rotted world. Wandering souls were flung across the galaxy, unable to pass on without without first finding those they loved or finishing what they started before the world's decay. Some completed their journey quickly, others spent thousands of years towards that goal.
The demon crossed her wings in front of her face, and disappeared into the frozen dark to weep in solitude.
The gem Meta Knight was carrying discharged light and shadow, nearly blowing the masked warrior out of the sky. All similar gems went through the same energy burst, throwing nearby people to the ground and releasing waves of concentrated negativity.
Every member of the Dark Matter race across Gamble Galaxy suddenly felt uneasy, quickly panicking when they realized the cause.
Marx's normally carefree demeanor disappeared for a second, leaving behind the cold, hollow feeling he preferred no one know he had.
Drawcia's anxiety and sorrow towards her imprisonment and separation from Paintra increased to levels she rarely had the burden of feeling.
Magolor felt the onset of a stress induced headache, while the voice received a migraine.
Ribbon was overcome with the grief she hid away from all her friends, and dropped to the ground mid flight to cry. Her eyes stopped flickering an stayed black.
There was a lost soul trapped between life and death. The willful spirit resisted the event at first, but even she was consumed before long. All she could do then was scream for Taranza to take the pain away.
Similar things happened to Whispy, but let's be honest, no one cares. That's just a normal day for him anyway...

Suddenly, Kirby had an amazing feeling. That wonderful, elated feeling he got when horrible monsters like Nightmare or Dark Mind were destroyed and everyone could be happy again. Deep down, Kirby could feel that evil shadows and demons all over the galaxy were in immense pain, and he cherished every second of knowing everyone that they could have hurt would be safe for a while.
If he only knew...
I'm starting to think I may want to change the tags to angst. I didn't realize when I started how deep into this kind of thing I was going.
On the plus side, my fears about Rainbow Curse were unnecessary, as the game couldn't possibly have less influence on the series. My head cannon is secure! Better yet, Eline's addition gave me an amazing horrible pairing idea.
KirbyxRibbonxChuchuxEline! Kirby's personal attack harem! Equal parts adorable and clear lack of sense!
...Actually, there's no incest involved, so l suppose it isn't too bad...
I'm not crazy, what're you talking about?
