After Cole and Master of Manipulation disappeared, we carried an almost-dead Melissa back to the monastery. Needless to say, Mrs. Garmadon about flipped.

Melissa was put in the infirmary and only Nya and Mrs. G - or Misako, as she preferred - were allowed in.

I quietly split from everyone and took a shower, then changed into a pair of sweatpants and t-shirt. I was gathering my things to leave when Lloyd stopped me.

"Where are you going?" He asked.

I blinked. "Somewhere in Ninjago City. I have already been here too long."

"What?! You can't leave!" He protested.

"Lloyd, I have overstayed my welcome. I cannot-" I began, when he glared at me.

I stopped. Lloyd glaring was kinda scary.

"Princess." He practically spat. "You can't leave just yet. We need you. If you're what I'm suspecting, you really should stay."

"But-" I tried to protest.

"Please Solaris?" He looked at me pleadingly. "Just for another week?"

I looked away from his pleading green eyes. "Yes. I will stay."

"Yay!" He hugged me tight.

I froze. My personal space has just been destroyed. He's in my personal space. Get him out of my space.

I pushed him away none to gently, earning me a confused looked.

"Please do not do that." I wrapped my arms around myself, looking away.

"Oh. Sorry." He apologized, awkward.

"It is alright." I shivered.

"Hey Solaris, Sensei needs you for a moment." Nya popped her head into the room.

"What for?" I followed her, sure that Lloyd was right behind me.

"He's in the courtyard/training thing." She waved her hand, then disappeared back inside.

I stepped down off the porch steps, onto the stone ground.

"Please join us, princess." Sensei Wu motioned me to where he was sitting with Beth and Zane.

My eyes narrowed at the mention of 'princess', but did what I was requested.

I suddenly looked up as a scream echoed through the quiet, still training grounds. There, hurdling towards the monastery at perhaps a million miles an hour, was a massive fireball, others close on it's heels.

Beth's eyes were wide in terror as the first fireball crashed into the main building.

I seemed to see it all happen in slow motion. Zane tackled Beth, hoping to keep her from burning, as they had been awfully close to it, only for the flames to spread abnormally fast, washing over them both.

Kai and Nya came stumbling from the building, smoke pouring out from behind them.

Emma's scream was abruptly cut off when another fireball crashed into the dragon pen.

I coughed, my vision blurring as smoke made me tear up.

Or maybe it was the thought of my friends, dead, that maybe me cry?

Whatever happened to Lloyd? I thought dizzily before collapsing to the stone ground.
