Percy POV

I wish I had actually put money on Zeus's reaction to the news that the titans would side with us, really I do. While the other Olympians openly stared, Artemis eyeing me with a degree of hope in her eyes the might king of the gods fainted clean away into with a loud clatter onto the marble floor. Poseidon and Hades glanced at their brother briefly before turning to me in interest the Lord of the dead speaking slowly "Forgive us Percy, but how? Olympians and Titans have wared for millennia how have they suddenly decided to side with us now?" My council snickered which caused me to send them a glare before turning to my uncle who raised an eyebrow "They are siding with me and me only which is why I am suddenly glad old uncle sparky is out for the count. We have problems though over Zeus's pride, specifically us father."

Poseidon's eyes widened "What Percy?" I took a breath "Oceanus is awake and eager to move against you and Atlantis, reclaim his right and either place triton or himself on the throne. Hyperion is up as well which makes two mightily pissed titans that have the power to inflict a crucial blow to our chances." Poseidon seemed to swallow as he drew himself up to his full height "Oceanus will rule over my dead body Percy." That statement made me actually shudder as I struggled to meet my dad's eyes "That's what he wants you to do dad. Sons of the seas are temperamental as hell and Oceanus will play on this!"

Poseidon's eyes hardened to ice shards "What would you have me do Lord Perseus? Leave my family and my people to their fates!? I am not Zeus nor my father boy!" shaking off the flinch at the anger in his voice I spoke as carefully as I could "No your Poseidon! Who thwarts sailors and disrupts odysseys! Your kind, careful and the best father I could have asked for. You are also vengeful, scary as hell and one of the mightiest gods in this room so lets have a nice midway point eh?" Athena groaned from her throne as my father grinned wolfishly "Perseus did you really have to inflate his head even more?" Resisting the urge to scream I rubbed the bridge of my nose which caused Thalia, Jason, Nico and Hazel to come to their godly heights and flank me either side. Lightening licked at Thalia's palms as shadows did Nico's the former glowering at the council "For the love of the gods! You people are the worst! You sit around and wish we were back to solve your problems but when we do return and actually have a plan of action you don't want to hear it!" I grabbed Thalia's shoulder making her pause and letting me jump back into the conversation.

"Listen to me, We need to start working together. I know it's a foreign concept to everyone in this room which is odd as your all siblings in different ways, but if we don't we will not be alive in a few months you have my word on that." That rendered the council speechless until a rasped voice spoke.

"Hear Hear!"

The King of the Gods had woken up.
