AN: I don't own anything! No character that you recognize, and no songs. Just the idea. Hello it's me! Enjoy!

Oh, and, River and the Doctor are Lily and James, so mostly, that's what they'll be called. Plus, I have decided that this fic is one where I'm not so fond of Dumbledore. Sorry to those of you who like him, I really am. But hey, it's still worth reading, right?

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF SNAPE/DONNA?

Though first, I have some replies for you:

maxgoof296: That it is, that it is. Don't worry, they will be.

dancingmermaid: I can neither confirm nor deny whether or not Captain Jack Harkness shall appear in this story. To do so would cause a tear in the spacio-temporal rift. A.K.A.: SPOILERS!

Gracealma: I was debating whether or not he would accept him, then decided last minute, yes. And yes, she will do wonders for him.

Village-Mystic: Wow, lot's of reviews! Thanks! Alright, here we go... Yes, at the end of chapter 3 they are still in their 'magical forms'. Yeah, there's no way 10 could've figured out 11's plan. Maybe I will, I don't know, revising can get a bit difficult, I'll see once the story's done. In the meantime, checkout my other two 'Parents Stories': Skye song and The Truth About Loki and the Son of Coul. Yes, Donna and Snape shall be matched. I can't tell you who Sherlock is... SPOILERS! And thanks a million for what criticism you gave.

To those who take the time to review, and especially those who review repeatedly, I love y'all! Y'all are amazing! I hug you all!

JUST A SHORT LITTLE BIT OF SEV AND DONNA!

I'M SO SORY ABOUT HOW LONG THIS HAS TAKEN! I'M STARTING COLLEGE, AND I'M LOOKING FOR A JOB! ALL UPDATES ON STORIES FOR THE NEXT LITTLE BIT WILL TAKE A BIT. SORRY!

PREVIOUSLY:

Not too long after, Mom took Uncle John and Uncle Sherlock home, and Dad escorted Aunt Donna to her room on Sexy so she could settle in again. Uncle Sev sat there rather awkwardly, under orders not to move an inch, issued by Mom of course. I sighed. He shifted uncomfortably.

"Harry," he said finally. "Why do you seem so... accepting of me?"

I considered that a moment. "My Mom seems to think you're a good guy, and you've looked out for me for years, so... I figured, you were ok."

I shrugged. He looked thoughtful before doing something that shocked me too my core: he smiled ever-so-slightly and ruffled my hair minutely. Just then Mom came back, and Dad walked out of Sexy. They escorted me to bed, tucked me in, and that was the last thing I was aware of.

SPOV:

For some reason I could not fathom, I could not get Donna off my mind. She fascinated me, and I couldn't wait until she was here, so that I could show her around. I woke up bright and early so that I could get the Veritaserum started, as it needed to brew for 36 hours after phase 1. Not minute after I put the stasis and monitoring charms, Dobby popped in, informing me that Donna was in the Great Hall. I told him to tell her that I would be there in a few minutes and started cleaning up, washing my hands, knives, and cutting board, clearing away the ingredients.

I took one of the secret passages up into a room just off the Great Hall, and straightened my robes. When I strode in, Donna immediately came over to me. I took a moment to examine the room, and saw that the Potters weren't having breakfast here. I escorted Donna to the Head Table, with her happily chatting away about the castle. I didn't really contribute to the conversation as we fixed our plates and began eating, but it suited me just fine, and it didn't seem to bother Donna any.

I ignored my colleagues' questioning looks, the entire time; as Donna started asking me how I liked teaching, and what it was like being the youngest potions master in history. I neatly ducked both questions, as bragging was not my thing. I honestly enjoyed Donna's chatter, when it would normally irritate me to distraction. After breakfast, I asked her if she would like to tour the castle of the grounds first, and she laughed, saying she wanted to see the monster tree. A laugh escaped me as I escorted her out, and I could feel my colleagues' surprise as their stares burned into my back.

As I led her to the Whomping Willow, she was quiet. I had become so used to her bright, cheerful noise, that the silence worried me. "Donna, is everything ok?"

"Yeah, it's great. It's just, it's so beautiful here, that's all," she replied. I looked at her, and was captivated. The sun was behind her, setting her hair on fire, and bathing her in golden light. She looked so happy, and then she laughed.

… Ugh, I was getting all sappy and poetic over a girl! I needed to focus. She probably didn't even like me like that. I shook my head quickly, to clear it, sending my hair into my face. Sometimes I hated my hair, but if it was short, it was unmanageable. Donna started laughing, and I raised a brow at her, asking drily, "What's so funny?"

"Don't you ever tie your hair back?"

"It falls out because the potion fumes make it rather greasy."

"It doesn't look so greasy to me. And besides, there are a million different products to cut hair grease." As she talked, she move to stand behind me, rummaging in her pocket.

"I'm trying a new product. What're you doi- hey!" She had put her hands on my shoulders and shoved down hard, forcing me down. I sat down hard, as she calmly replied, "Fixing your hair."

With that she brushed my hair back, very gently but still firmly, and into a tight bunch. She grabbed my hand and made me hold my hair as she pulled something else out of her pocket. Then she grabbed my other hand and pressed a long, thin strip of leather into it. "Feel this? Leather that has a rough side is good for this kind of stuff, as it grips most types of hair."

I was too distracted by how soft and gentle her hands are to reply She placed her hand over mine, and twisted the bunch of hair a little, to tighten it as she explained, and brought my other hand up to show me how to wrap the leather 'properly'. She tucked one end under one of my fingers, and then carefully used my other hand to tightly wrap the leather strip, making sure it was smooth side out. Over and over she wrapped it, until the two free ends were of equal length. Then she made a bow and stepped back. I was shocked when my hair didn't immediately fall out of the ponytail.

She hummed in satisfaction, and admired her handiwork. "There. Now you can see your gorgeous eyes."

I immediately blushed, and she grinned. I began to miss having a curtain of hair to hide behind. I rolled my eyes to cover my embarrassment, and gestured for her to follow me to the Whomping Willow. I entertained her for a good half hour by tossing a tennis ball at the tree. What most people didn't know is that Whomping Willows are 'domesticated'. Like a Venomous Tentactula, if you play with it regularly, it will behave. It liked to hit things back if you threw them. I liked to call it Lottatore.

Donna wanted to play with it, so I handed her the ball, and found myself chasing after it every time I turned around. Eventually, we left to walk around the grounds, and I showed her the lake, where the Giant Squid was sunning himself, and then we went to the forest, stopping by Hagrid's hut. Hagrid was actually a good friend of mine, and he invited us to stay for lunch. Donna enthusiastically agreed, firing a whole new round of questions at him, which he gamely answered.

When Donna found out that unicorns were real, she was delighted; though she seemed heartbroken that pegasi weren't real. I hastened to cheer her up by telling her that hippogriffs were what spawned the legend in the first place. When we finally took our leave, Hagrid told Donna to go to the paddock and see if there was anything there, and come tell him.

"Is there something you wanted?"

"Jus' wanted the tell yeh tha' you got yerself a real keeper there. Don' let 'er go." I nodded at him

"Understood. I hadn't planned on it. But I don't think she likes me, no matter the fact that I seem to have fallen for her already."

"Don' sweat it. Trus' me." Looking into his eyes, and the kind expression he wore, I did. Somehow, he was never wrong about these things. I sighed and nodded, as Donna came back.

"There's nothing in the paddock."

"Tha's alrigh' I jus' thought tha' Firenze'd swing by is all. You two should git goin'". He waved us off, and we set off toward Hogsmeade at Donna's insistence, to help with Harry's room.
