A/N: Listen to Tears of an Angel by RyanDan while reading this...T_T

Francis Bonnefoy walked into his kitchen, smiling happily at seeing the little girl sitting at the table, coloring a picture. His mind was suddenly bombarded with memories...ones that he wanted to forget.

-Flashback-

"I'm sorry to tell you this, Mr Bonnefoy...Your daughter has contracted a disease that we know nothing about..." Doctor Masel informed him, a grim look on his face.

"She will be ok, right? Please tell me you can do something, anything for her!?" Francis pleaded, grabbing the doctors coat, his heart breaking in the process.

"I'm sorry...She doesn't have a lot of time." the doctor said, shaking his head and walking away.

-End Flashback-

Francis tried to put the horrible thoughts out of his mind and focus on his daughter, his beautiful (y/n).

"What would you like for breakfast, mon cher?" he asked, ruffling your hair and trying to see your picture. However, you covered it with your small hands, preventing him from seeing it.

"No, Papa! You can't see it! It's not finished!" you insisted, and then asked for (favorite food) for breakfast.

Francis smiled and went to make it for you. You grabbed a (f/c) and finished your picture, smiling weakly.

'There. Now Papa can see the picture I made for him...' you thought, closing your eyes, because you were so tired.

Francis came back in, beaming and carrying (f/f) on a tray. He set it on the table and smiled at you. However, his smile dropped into a frown as he noticed you slumped back against the chair.

"(Y/N)? (Y/N)?!" He cried, gently shaking you, but you wouldn't wake up.

His body shook with sobs, his tears falling on your clothes. He pulled you close and buried his face in your (h/c) hair.

"Please, mon cher! Don't leave me! Please! Come back to me!" he pleaded, sobbing when he realized that his little girl was truly gone.

His gaze landed on the picture you drew and set on the table. He picked it up and more tears fell as he read what you wrote.

It was a picture of you and him, standing under a rainbow. He read the words, written on the page.

'Je T'aime, Papa. I'll always be with you.~"
(Y/N)~

He clutched the picture and mumbled his last phrase to you.

"Je T'aime, mon cher."

Always.
