God. I feel so bad that I never finished this story. For. 3. Bloody. Years. I have been re-writing this story though to match my current style (and writing other fanfics in other fandoms..). Anyhow. I can't promise that I'll finish this fanfic anytime soon in the future due to university and my other fanfics, but if people are still interested in this ol' little thing, then I'll see what I can do to pick up my old writings

Hiccup bit petulantly on the tip of his pen as he stared at the PowerPoint presentation, trying to focus on the lecture itself as the teacher flipped through the different PowerPoint pages. A task that was usually not difficult, but that was when a certain snow-haired teenager didn't stare at him. Staring intensely at him. Jack hadn't even given the teacher as much as a glance, he didn't even try to write any notes from the PowerPoint and he hadn't even bothered to shift his pose for the past forty-five minutes. As if he was trying to figure out the greatest puzzle of all times or if he was just trying to make Hiccup as uncomfortable as possible, which of course had begun to attract the other classmates' attention. As the twat was obviously not discreet in any way with his actions.

"You know, Jack is staring at you." Fishlegs whispered from the seat next to the brunette, drawing up his eyebrows together in a frown.

"Really? I hadn't noticed." Hiccup said sarcastically before he returned to his activity of chewing on his pen, but apparently the other boy didn't notice it.

"Like. Really staring."

"I know."

"Staring. At you."

"Fishlegs. I know" He hissed.

"But why would he stare at you?"

"I have been asking myself that for the past forty-five minutes. Maybe it's my dashing scrawny looks." Hiccup mumbled quietly in a sarcastic tone, because really. Sure, the prankster had apparently taken the challenge seriously and he also wanted to keep an eye on the brunette to make sure he didn't tell any secrets about magical teenager. However, that didn't mean that you had to watch Hiccup all the time to accomplish any of these things. The brunette was certain that the light-haired male was smart, which made it even more strange as the magical boy had probably already figured out from the start that; people would not believe Hiccup if he told anyone about the truth and secondly; one could bond with Hiccup without trying to spend every damn minute with him. So, that only left one conclusion; Jack was doing all of these actions to drive him mad, which was why Hiccup threw a glare towards Jack to make him quit this foolish nonsense. Whatever he was trying to pull.

Jack only replied with an even broader self-pleased grin as if he had been waiting for that particular response throughout the entire lecture. And now he had gotten it.

Insufferable twat. Yes. That was the correct description of the snow-haired boy, not handsome beast. Hiccup would not let several years of low profile be ruined by some big pompous twat. There was only one thing to do.

Will you stop that? Hiccup sent as a message to Jack through his phone, hidden under his desk and between legs while changing the name of the number to Insufferable Twat.

His phone vibrated quickly right after the message.

Stop what?

Hiccup wanted to slam his fists on the desk as he could basically hear the smug grin over the message. Or better, slam his fists in a certain someone's face.

Oh, I don't know, maybe the constant creepy staring?

I've no idea what you are talking about

The brunette snorted.

Right, well, I for one want to focus on the lecture, which isn't possible when you are distracting me and the rest of the class! The brunette typed furiously on the phone.

Distracting you am I? ;)

Hiccup scowled hard at the text message as his cheeks heated at the implication, making him even more flustered, especially when he heard the snicker from the white-haired boy on the other side of the classroom.

"Care to share what's so funny Jack as it appears to distract the entire class?" The teacher said sardonically as her patience had finally run out, crossing her arms and tapping her fingers on her arm with her right hand.

Jack merely sent an innocent smile and expression towards the teacher, which clearly was used as a weapon to soften the old bat's heart. "I just thought it was quite the ironic paradox that they couldn't expect the event even though they had all the evidence pointed towards the very fact."

The teacher's eyebrows furrowed in confusion before her mouth turned into a brilliant smile. Probably because she was charmed by the fact that one of her students had found the very key point of the lesson. The bastard. "Yes, well-" The teacher continued her lecture by explaining the paradox of the historic event.

Oh, so that's how you are going to play it? Hiccup narrowed his eyes on the other lad, seeing the smile in the snow-haired boy's eyes that were a bit too all-knowing. The more time Hiccup spent in the magical boy's presence, then the more he became a confusing enigma. Not only was Jack popular and mischievous as many other stereotypes, but apparently Jack was also smart and well-read to be able to make conclusions about historical events at an advanced level. He defied the most typical stereotypes of popular types. Just who was actually Jack Frost?

Jack had even tried to reach Hiccup when the lecture was over, but his plans had been thwarted by his various friends who surrounded him. The brunette merely saw that as a chance to quickly gather his things and head quickly to the next class before anyone, even his own friends, could corner him with questions.

"Soo-" Fishlegs began after he had taken the seat beside Hiccup during the art class. Hiccup inwardly groaned; Here it comes. The endless lines of questions about Jack Frost. Lovely. "When did you become friends with Jack?"

Hiccup snorted. "Yeah right, like someone like Jack would be friends with me." He said, casting wary eyes on the door as he knew that the snow-haired male was supposed to have the very same class, but he hadn't seen the other enter the class and it was getting a bit too late to join the class.

"Oh, I don't know. You both seemed on a friendly basis back there on the phone." Fishlegs said nonchalantly as he made a few strokes of red on the previously blank piece of paper.

The tip of Hiccup's pen broke while he was drawing on his fantasy dragons once again. Shit. He inwardly cursed, both at Fishlegs for his curiosity and the ruined line of the dragon's back before he turned his head towards his friend.

"You know, I'm not sure, but I'm fairly certain that you aren't supposed to snoop on others' conversations. Because. You know. They are usually private."

Fishlegs raised his hands in the air as a gesture of surrender.

"I know, I know, but it's not every day your friend has caught the interest of one of the most popular guys in school. Jack. The Jack Frost. Like. What are you even thinking of getting involved with him? It's like asking for trouble and you already have Snotlout and company to worry about. This won't exactly make it better, you know."

"You don't say." The brunette deadpanned, but when the blond boy stared seriously at him, then Hiccup could only sigh. "Don't worry about it. It's just a temporary thing. He will grow tired soon enough and scurry off to new pranksterly adventures that don't include me."

"I wouldn't be so sure of that." A smug voice said behind them.

Hiccup and Fishlegs both flinched in shock at the unexpected voice behind their backs. Both had thought that Jack had skipped the lesson to be with his mates (which wasn't unusual apparently to some), but here he was, showing the very opposite. Their only response was to turn their heads and merely stare at Jack as if he had a second head growing out of his shoulder.

Fishlegs' eyes shifted quickly between the brunette and the popular guy before he had made some kind of decision, staring right into the brunette's own eyes. Hiccups narrowed his eyes as it was an action that the brunette knew too well; No don't you dare. But Fishlegs had a thing to ignore his cues and warnings or Fishlegs was just not good at snapping them up. Either way was possible.

"Right. I'll just- um- I forgot some brushes in the locker, yeah. I'm just going to fetch them. Like. Right now." Fishlegs stumbled in his speech before he left his seat to dash towards a completely different room. Far away.

Jack produced a thoughtful hum as he observed the other flee the spot.

"Did I interrupt something?" The white-haired boy shifted his focus from the fleeing boy to the brunette, where Jack's eyes differed from the rest of his thoughtful expression. He knew. He had probably listened to the conversation for a while. Hiccup had expected to see Jack around, but not like this. Occasional encounters and reminders that they needed to finish the assignment? Yes. Finding every chance to torment the brunette and practically stalk the teenager? Not so much. Something was off.

"Don't you have anything better to do than stalking and harassing awkward little boys in the school?" The brunette snarkily said and shifted his pose to direct his focus onto the painting.

"Not really, no" Jack answered as he placed himself on the other seat beside Hiccup. The brunette risked giving a quick glance at the surroundings to see the classmates' responses and yep, they were definitely scrutinized by the class again. Hiccup wondered what he had done to deserve this.

"Really? Not even those friends over there who are glaring at me because I'm snatching all your free time lately? I'm sure they won't kill me in my sleep at this rate."

The smile on the prankster grew into a full-fledged smirk.

"You know, for someone who really likes to throw sarcasm and arguments to keep me away, then you don't really seem to dislike my company. So what are you really afraid of?"

Oh, who knows, maybe the fact that he would gain more attention from the school being beside Jack? Catching more of Snotlout and company's attention? Maybe get unwelcome attention from other people? Get pranked by the number one prankster of the school in the most humiliating way for the next year? Take your pick.

"I'm not afraid. It's called self-preservation to keep your nose out from where it doesn't belong and you sir, need a new hobby." Hiccup said as he tried to the save the line of the dragon's back, giving the pen a bit more pressure than was actually needed for the coal to stick onto the paper.

Jack clicked his fingers as if he had cracked a code. "Aah, does it have anything with 'Snotlout and company' as your friend pinpointed earlier?"

You seem like an interesting guy. I think I'm going to keep you. Suddenly repeated in his mind because the sentence was oddly presented. Even for someone like Jack.

"And you are trying to accomplish something more than keeping an eye on me and the challenge. It's almost as you were intrigued by me. So I guess that we both keep secrets that we don't want the other to find out?"

Jack looked startled for a moment as if his secret plan had been figured out, but it quickly turned into something that Hiccup hadn't expected even if the snow-haired male was a prankster. An authentic smile that made the boy's memorizing ice-cold blue eyes twinkle in bemusement. As if he hadn't expected the shorter male to so quickly see through his games, but now when the brunette had then it was merely refreshing to have someone who kept up with him and create a challenge in the game.

"What if I am intrigued by you?" Jack purred in a low voice.

Hiccup hitched because the magical boy said the sentence with such intention that his breath was stolen away from him, and the weight of the gaze had enough pressure to cause his heart to flip.

"Hah, yeah right. Because it's so hard to resist all of this." Hiccup replied quickly while he whisked his head away control his shaking in his voice to a minimum, which was hard when his fluttery feelings from the stomach reached all its way to his throat, before he gestured to his scrawny and awkward-looking body.

Jack regarded the other male for a few seconds in silence as if he was contemplating something of import before he sighed. "Truth be told. I haven't been completely honest with you."

"You don't say?" Hiccup said dryly.

"Most people can't see magic." Jack continued in a whisper, as if the brunette had never said anything.

That caught the brunette's attention and he immediately froze in his actions. His pencil was mere millimeters from touching the painting.

"Uh, hold-hold on. Rewind that, just what?" He said incredulously, quickly turning his head and following the trend of whispering. "What do you mean?"

"I mean that only people who truly believe in magic can see my magic, which is mostly kids and crazy people. Sure. Everyone can see the snow and feel the wind that I can conjure, but they can't actually see the magic threads behind the summoning. However, you are neither crazy nor a kid. So that leaves the question, why do you see my magic?"

Hiccup just stared at the other boy as he was digesting the new information.

"Well, this might confirm my theory that I'm actually crazy."

"Maybe, or maybe it's something else." Jack said in a cryptic tone.

"Like what? Because I sure didn't believe in magic before I met you. Now it's quite hard to ignore the fact when winds and snowballs are being thrown at your face by some prankster with magical skills."

"Who knows." Jack's serious expression had disappeared behind a familiar smirk.

Hiccup narrowed his eyes at the snow-haired boy.

"Ooh, I see how it is." He whispered a bit louder. "Something tells me that you do know, but you won't tell me."

"Well, we all keep ourselves mysterious to make the ones we like intrigued by us."

The sentence sent a different kind of shiver throughout his body, not entirely in a bad way as his heartbeat was pounding loudly against his ribcage and spreading a sensation that wasn't entirely horrible. However, he still refused to claim that Jack's actions were actually affecting him, because things that had been caused by the other could not be a good thing. The brunette quickly whisked his head away from the other's personal space to stare intently at the air and he was about to interrogate the magical boy further about the enigmatic answers that only lead to further questions, but that was the exact moment when Jack flickered paint on Hiccup's face to interrupt his thinking.

The brunette was too shocked to react at first, staring wide-eyed at the preposterous excuse of a human.

"Y-You-! You just didn't do that!" The brunette spluttered.

"I didn't? Oh, sorry." Jack said innocently before tossing another launch of paint with his large brush. "Did I do it properly now?"

Hiccup was done with playing nice, because honestly it hadn't worked for him so far. The brunette picked Fishleg's used painting brush since the blonde guy had dropped it in a haste to flee from the scene as quickly as possible, which conveniently had landed in a large pile of red paint on a wooden pallet. Quickly taking a steady grasp; Hiccup whisked the brush towards the direction of the snow-haired boy, only to let several red droplets splatter on the other's shocked face. The magical teenager hadn't expected that apparently, judging by the shocked expression, which made the shorter male's outer corners of the mouth to twitch until his mouth had developed into a full-edged grin.

"Oh, seems like my brush went rogue as well. Seems like a trend." Hiccup said while his voice trembled by laughter, which he soon began to regret when he suddenly saw a new kind of fire enlighten in those piercing blue eyes. The only warning he got was a twitching muscle of amusement in the right cheek on Jack before all hell broke loose. Jack picked up a large pallet and paint on his brush before he quickly flickered paint without mercy on the other boy's face, hair, clothes and overall body. "No, stop it! Jack! Stop it!" Hiccup cried for mercy as the droplets of paint continued to rain towards his location, but he still continued to bravely defend himself by sending his mighty weapon of red paint towards the other direction. Alas, this was not hardly enough to battle against the other's vigorous and enthusiastic flickering movements with the hands and arms. Jack whisked his right wrist, his arm, his entire body at every millisecond to outnumber the brunette, laughing hysterically during the process. The snow-haired male could barely breathe when he saw that Hiccup was almost drenched in rainbow colors. Hiccup, however, was not amused.

"That's it. I'm gonna kill you, I'm gonna kill you with the Viking blood running through my veins and sacrifice your heart to the old gods." Hiccup growled as he secured his fingers more tightly around the brush like if it was a real weapon.

Jack laughed so hard that he had to wipe tears from his eyes, gaining a few color strokes around his eyes because his hands were covered with paint. "Oh no, not my old cold frilly heart, whatever will I do?" He said as he flickered even more paint on Hiccup.

The teacher rushed towards them as she had finally located the origin of the hysterical laughter in the class, lifting her dress with both her hands to move more efficiently to their location.

"Boys! Boys! What on earth are you doing?!"

Both boys froze and looked at the teacher as if they were deer that had been caught in the spotlights. Hiccup looked nervously between his recently used weapon in the form of a paintbrush and the teacher who glared at the two for interrupting her class, waiting for a proper excuse or explanation. Hiccup had never been good at crises situations.

"Uh- practicing color use-?" That apparently freed the magical teenager from his paralyzed state and Jack snorted loudly before bursting in laughter at the terrible excuse, but he tried to quickly control it to no infuriate the teacher further by hiding it behind a hand. The brunette and teacher merely glared at him. However, Jack couldn't stop the occasional snicker escaping from his mouth. "Stop laughing! This is your fault!" Hiccup hissed.

"I don't care who started it! Get back to your tasks and clean up the mess or it's detention for you both!" The teacher pointed menacingly at them before she shifted her attention to a student who had wanted help for a very long time in another room. "And I'll come back to inspect it all at the end of the class!"

"Detention, huh? That would give us proper bonding time." Jack grinned mischievously while he stared intently at Hiccup when the brunette cleaned off paint from his fingers and skin with regular paper, mumbling curses.

"Oh no, no, don't you even think about it." Hiccup pointed a finger at the taller male to stop whatever he was thinking of doing.

"Guess that just leaves one option left then." Jack said as he played with the brush in his fingers, gaining a scowl from the brunette since even more paint dropped onto the floor.

"And what's that?"

The white-haired boy was about to answer when they were interrupted by a bunch of people hanging around the entrance of the classroom.

"What are you doing Jack? Hurry up or we will leave without you. It has already been 15 minutes, you said it would take max 5 minutes."

Jack flickered his eyes to the gang behind them. "I actually came here to give you your notebook. You forgot it on the bench." Jack said as he presented a notebook in his hands towards the brunette, which was eerily similar to his own notebook. Hiccup quickly examined his bag by touching and grabbing it furiously all over the place; he was sure that he had packed in his bag before in the history class.

"When-? What? How did you-"

"Don't worry. You are not the first one to get distracted by my charms." He interrupted in a sultry voice and winked before he strolled back towards his friends.

"I-I didn't-You-!" Insufferable twat, was left unsaid as he didn't dare to aggravate Jack's friends and he also never got the chance for a snappy comeback as Jack had quickly left the room with his other friends. "Argh!" He outbursted quietly, growing even more annoyed since he was left alone to clean their mess. Which was quite ironic as he had prayed for Jack to leave him alone the entire day, but when the gods finally listened to him then it was during the wrong moment. The floor, his clothes, his skin, even his painting was covered in paint. Hiccup could only sigh.

"What did you say about not being friends?" Fishlegs turned up from nowhere with a bunch of wet and dry toilet paper in his hands, but he had probably been hiding in the very next room, eavesdropping on the conversation.

"Not voluntary friends at least." Hiccup murmured and accepted the paper Fishlegs was offering to help with the cleaning process. "I've done everything to make him leave me alone! What does one have to do these days to get rid of someone? Threat him with a knife? Stab him to make him get the message?"

"But the even bigger question is what would have made him become so interested in you?"

"I told you before, I don't know!" He did somewhat know, but he wasn't prepared to tell Fishlegs that there was actually magic in this world and the most popular guy in the school had the ability to control it. Just no. Also? Crazy warning. Fishlegs would probably not believe him and Hiccup didn't really know the entire reason why Jack was following him like an obsessed stalker. He looked exasperated on his painting and the circle of paint around him. "Ugh, this is great, just great. For once when I don't want to be one of them, then one just barges into my personal life to throw paint at me. Oh man, the teacher is going to kill me if I don't get rid of this paint right now. I'm dead. So dead." The brunette said dramatically.

"Let's just hope that Snotlout hasn't noticed it yet and that Jack isn't interested in you only because he has found his next prank victim for the rest of the years"

"Thanks for that cheery thought. There is just no way Snotlout hasn't noticed it. Just look at everyone! They are spreading the news and rumors as we speak."

The boys glanced at the tables with various people sitting around them and true enough, most of them were whispering and they threw occasional glances at Hiccup before continuing their frantic whispering. They probably tried to compose theories behind the fraternizing of the scapegoat and the most popular prankster of the school.

"Yep, you are screwed." Fishlegs agreed and began to help Hiccup to clean up the mess.

"Thanks for summing that up." The brunette snarked, but at least Fishlegs tried to help him with the mess unlike some other irresponsible male with blue colored eyes.

"And I guess this changes things." Fishlegs began out of the blue.

Hiccup stared at Fishlegs in befuddlement. "Changes what things?"

"Jack is holding a party next weekend and I had planned to bring you there as moral support, but I guess that's out of the option now."

"Wait, wait- Hold on. You? Party? What in the gods has gotten into you?"

"Well- Ruffnut is going there and-" Fishlegs scratched his neck nervously. "so I thought, that I might, you know, maybe get a chance to talk more to her."

Hiccup raised an eyebrow.

"Really? Ruffnut? That's who you are going for? Ruffnut? Snotlout's right hand? The one who bullies scrawny little boys for breakfast?"

"I know, but she is just soo-" A dreamy look flashed across his eyes, which made Hiccup a bit nauseous. "Amazing."

"Oh yeah, who doesn't want a girl with a mean hook? Love it."

"Can you really say anything, Astrid-boy?" Fishlegs snarked back.

"Hey, at least she doesn't bully people. So no, you're just insane, but at least you are right as an insane person, because I'm definitely not going to the party. See this?" Hiccup gestured towards his body, which felt like a thing he had done a lot lately to prove various points. Great. His body was constantly made fun of, even by himself now. "This isn't party material."

"I know, I know. Don't worry about it. I'll bring some others instead." Fishlegs wiped off the last paint from the floor with some toilet paper before he began to gather his things. "I've to run for my next class, but don't forget that we need to decide a date to work on the biology project! Also- It will probably all be fine. Maybe Jack will only throw humiliating pranks on you for a year before-"

"Not really helping Fishlegs."

"Sorry. But really, it will probably be fine."

Hiccup doubted it.

"Yeah, probably. Thanks Fishlegs."

"You're welcome. I'll see you later." He said as he secured the straps of his backpack and waved before he headed towards the door.

"I'll send you a message later about the project." Hiccup said as he cleaned the last bits of pieces (that could be cleaned, his clothes were probably far from saving at the moment. At least it wouldn't help with merely soap and water) before gathering his things as well since it was the end of the art-class, hanging his obviously not finished painting in his section of things and cleaning the brushes before he returned them to their correct places in the room. When the teacher seemed satisfied enough with his work on the cleaning, then he strolled off to get ready for the next lesson.

The brunette observed the crowd in the corridors as he spotted the familiar brown-haired boy known as Snotlout, who had definitely noticed him as well since he gave him a quick glance now and then, but he didn't seem to head towards his direction. Strange. Snotlout never intentionally missed an opportunity to harass him. However, Hiccup didn't have the time to deduce the situation further as he also had a lecture to catch, which made him quickly spin and turn around towards the right direction, quickly disappearing into the crowd of students. An action that made him miss the vital information that Jack was discreetly eyeing the little brunette and Snotlout from a distance with his gang of friends.

Hiccup was enjoying a frisk walk in the park, which was very refreshing after a very long day and weird, downright frustrating, day at school. It was refreshing to merely breathe in the crisp yet cold air instead of contemplating the day's events and enjoy the solitude that didn't include curious students, nosy friends and Jack. Even if he didn't really know if he really hated the company of the magical boy, he actually feared the opposite since Jack made him feel- content, happy even with his little tricks and attempts to get closer to him. Even if Hiccup dreaded the fact that he would gain more attention, even new bullies or rumors about him that would make his life a misery, then there was always something about Jack that made him forget every warning that ringed cleared in his head when the snow-haired boy managed to put a smile on the brunette. It was all ridiculous and it was nice to have some solitude to digest his confusing thoughts and feelings.

"Slow down, would ya? I've been trying to reach you for five minutes, but damn do you walk fast."

"Agh! What the-!" Hiccup whisked his head to the owner of the jolly and sardonic voice, who had managed to sneak up on the brunette until he was next to the short man, happily skipping beside the teen. This didn't bother Hiccup, not at all and his heart did absolutely not skipped a beat when he observed the snow-haired boy. The brunette observed the other from tip to toe, because he really didn't know how the other boy managed to sneak up behind him all the time. It was almost as if he conjured himself into the thin air like his other magical tricks. "How do you do that?!"

Jack grinned before he brought his hands in fists to his face before he dramatically opened them to create extra dramatic effect when he said; "Magic."

"Hilarious." Hiccup said with a straight face even if his mouth twitched slightly in bemusement. "You know, that joke is getting old now when there is actual magic behind your tricks."

"Hi, my name is Hiccup, I've no sense of humor because I only like boring deadlines and homework." Jack imitated in a horrible attempt of a nasal voice. "You've to admit that it just spices up the old joke when real magic is involved."

Hiccup snorted. "First of all; what is this character? Because I don't sound like that. And secondly, I'm starting to think that your friends don't like you if you try to spend most of your time with a random awkward boy from school. So what's your friends' secret moves to make you leave them alone? Throw things at you? Voodoo? Because being boring obviously don't work."

"Hey, I'm a perfectly charming chap. It's just you who seems to dislike my company for some reason I've yet to figure out, but my bets are on the Snotlout thing." Jack pointed a finger of reprimand at Hiccup, playfully jabbing it in the air towards the teen.

"Oh, for the love of-!" Hiccup began before he took a deep breathe to become calm and regain his sense. Why was Jack so concerned about him of all the people in this town? "And you still haven't explained to me the reason why I of all people, who didn't believe in magic until now, could see yours so I guess we are even. Now would you just please, please, leave me alone?"

"Nope, no can do. We are both too invested in each other's lives by now." Hiccup raised an eyebrow at Jack for not believing in that very reason either. "Fine, fine. Have it your way. I know I haven't been completely honest with you, but I honestly don't know half of the answers to your questions. I'm not even sure myself about the magic thing. And I don't know, it's just-"Jack shifted his gaze to the kids in the park, contemplating while he heard the kids' laughter and the lenient footsteps of the brunette. "I guess it's nice to finally have someone who knows about my true nature. Someone you don't need to pretend to, you know?" He admitted in the end, staring at the sky as he uttered the truth.

Hiccup eyed the magical teenager for a few seconds in silence, not really sure how he was supposed to respond to the honest answer.

"I guess I can relate to that." The brunette finally said in a forlorn voice.

Jack's head perked up, looking at the shorter boy that suddenly had a tint of sadness behind those pretty hues of green in his eyes, which was an expression that didn't suit the other boy at all according to the magical boy. Thus, the white-haired boy meandered his arms around Hiccup's waist, pulling him against his chest before he traveled his hands over the torso of the short man which made the brunette to erupt with laughter when Jack touched the stomach of the brunette. Jack only smirked at the revelation and he stirred his hands even more furiously around the stomach, tickling the male beyond cruelty.

"Stop!" Hiccup gasped for air, trying to contain his violent laughter and worm his way out of the horrible situation. His arms and legs flailed all over the place as he tried to push away from the taller male with his elbows and hands but Jack was strong, keeping his captive in his arms without any real fight. "Stop, you damn maniac!" Hiccup managed to shout in-between his seizures of laughter and squirming, unable to withstand the torture anymore.

"It's 'Oh please fabulous and kind Jack, I surrender to you.' To you, kid" Jack cooed menacingly, smirking and exhaling in Hiccup's right ear.

"That's just too cheesy-" There was no chance that he would humiliate himself by uttering such a ludicrous sentence, he would rather die with honor, or well, as much honor you could get by getting tickled to death. The hands of the white-haired boy sneaked under the brunette's shirt, getting better access to the most ticklish areas, completely crumbling the last walls of the shorter male. He had to give up, both because of the tickling, but also because Jack's hands were sending strange shots of unwanted desire when they touched his skin. Nope. Big nope nope.

"Alright, fine! Ah P-Please fabulous and kind Jack, I surrender to you! I surrender!" That sounded humiliating even in Hiccup's ears, but he couldn't cope with those cold hands around his stomach, his muscles ached awfully from all the tickling and his skin felt way too hot.

"I guess that's a good start." Jack raised his hands and stepped away from the teenager, releasing the poor captive from his cruel clutches and observing the new entrancing expression on Hiccup's visage. The brunette could only pant heavily as he grasped his knees for support, slightly bending forward. Jack admired his piece of work with pride, stroking his chin with his right hand while the other grasped the right arm's elbow.

"You-" Hiccup pointed to Jack, letting out a gasp before he could continue. "You are an absolute maniac."

"Me?" Jack laid a hand over his heart, sending an innocent and unfairly accused expression. "No no, I'm just snowballs and fun-times."

Hiccup tried to shoot his nastiest glare at the tall boy, but even Jack could see through the teenager's fake scowl, making the shorter boy's mouth twitch. "If you ever need someone to- uh, you know, talk to-"Hiccup rubbed the back of his neck, looking away from the other's gaze.

"Aw, you do care. My attempts have finally succeeded."

"Shut up. I just know it can be difficult to be-"He paused, not knowing how much he could say without sounding lonely and pathetic. "Well, alone. So yeah, I can understand how nice it can be to find someone to share things with". Hiccup raised his back to straighten it and began to continue his stroll across the park. The white-haired boy could only stare for a few seconds at the incredulous boy that kept giving him surprises and it suddenly struck him that they might two sides of the same coin. Only from different worlds. Jack authentically smiled before he took his legs to stroll quickly to be alongside with the other.

"This still doesn't mean that we are friends or that you should stalk me all over the place."

"We will see about that." Jack murmured to himself. "You know the feeling is mutual right? If anyone bugs you or if there is anything on your chest, then don't hesitate to speak to me. I might a mischievous prankster, but I don't lack a heart. No matter what you seem to think about me."

"Thanks." Hiccup murmured, because really, what were you supposed to say to that? The brunette did, however, have another idea in mind.

Jack didn't even notice that the brunette had slowed his space until he heard the other male's masculine nasal voice a few meters away.

"Hey, Jack!"

Jack turned quizzically around to face Hiccup, but he didn't get a good look before a snowball hit his face with an unbelievable force and speed. Snow covered his entire face from the hair roots to the chin, slowly sliding down. Jack just stood there in shock with a gaping mouth and flabbergasted expression, completely taken aback by the action as he swept off the snow from his eyes.

Hiccup roared with laughter. "Oh man, y-your face. I wish I had a camera." He said as he doubled over with laughter, holding his stomach tightly because it ached even more than it had from the tickling. Jack, on the other hand, was not amused, which one could conclude by just observing his firm face. He narrowed his eyes at the laughing boy and his mouth dipped downwards. Although, that evaporated quickly when a string of frost emitted from his fingers and a mischievous grin grew on his face.

The shorter boy wiped away a few tears of joy. "That was the best-" Hiccup didn't get to finish that sentence before a blast of snow and frost hit his chest, causing him to stumble backwards and fall into a pile of snow. He shrieked to the sudden cold and snow that covered his entire body, except his legs, which stuck out from the pile in a comical way.

Jack cackled at the sight. "Now that's what I call funny." The wriggling movements from the auburn-haired male's legs fueled Jack's glee. Hiccup erupted from the snow pile with a loud gasp, prompting Jack to sprint towards the boy and created snowballs in his hands on the way. And when he was just in reach of the other's face, he smacked the snow into the shorter male's face and rubbed it on Hiccup's skin. "Take that!"

"Jack!" Hiccup squeaked, spitting out the snow from his mouth and brushing off the snow from his face to be able to see anything.

Jack threw his hands up in the air in victory.

"That's why you don't mess with the king of-"Jack began before the auburn-haired male grabbed the hem of Jack's shirt and tugged him forward, causing him to land face-first on the pile of snow. Hiccup only guffawed at Jack's awestruck face and splutter of incoherent words.

"Why you little shit." Jack laughed as he wrestled with the cheeky little boy, trying to bury the boy even deeper in the snow, but Hiccup wasn't as weak as he appeared to be because he managed to maneuver them until he was on top of Jack. The snow-haired boy found himself frozen in the act, for some reason, he just wanted to observe the view of the other male while he was underneath the boy. It was a very unfamiliar feeling for Jack and he didn't really know what to conclude from it.

"That was for the paint and schema earlier." Hiccup explained, panting little puffs of air from his pink and plump lips into the cold atmosphere. "And it's not fair when you use magic. It's basically the same as cheating."

"Oh yeah?" Jack took Hiccup with surprise when he quickly shifted their positions, pinning the brunette's wrists to the cold and snowy ground. The brunette tried to struggle and shift their position, but he then realized that a pair of legs were gripping his waist, making him unable to move from the spot. "What are you going to do about it?" Jack spoke mischievously above Hiccup as he leaned forward, getting closer to the smaller boy's face until he literally could feel the heat of the other's boy breath as it touched his skin and facial attributes.

Hiccup could feel his heart in his throat. It was thumping loudly and fiercely as he glanced into those eyes with various shades of bright blue. The brunette blushed at the new position as the snow-haired teenager stared reciprocally into his eyes, his stomach twisted more violent than when he had ridden the highest and most terrifying roller coaster of them all. It was petrifying, but he was still reluctant to move away from the situation, because it was just as exhilarating as terrifying. He had frozen on the spot and he was almost unable to breathe when the distance between closed.

"Hey Jack! It's time!" A few girls cooed from the street, looking curiously at the two entangled boys in the snow and wondering what they were doing. Jack sighed in disappointment; he didn't even know why, because he usually liked to head towards parties and activities. But not this time as he would rather spend time with Hiccup, for some reason, that seemed more fun than the other things.

"I've to go." Jack said. "Don't miss me too much." He patted the other boy's shoulder and smirked at the disheveled and flushed male underneath him, raising himself from the pile of snow and shaking off the residual snow-flakes from his clothes before he hurried to the females.

"Don't count on it." Hiccup shouted at the departing person after he had recovered from the petrifying event, but the snow-haired boy only turned his head to mouth mutely the word 'Sure' to the frustrated teenager.

Hiccup flopped down on the blanket of snow again, rubbing his face with both of his hands as he groaned and sighed heavily in the quiet area. He already began to miss the other person when the atmosphere of solitude and serenity surrounded his senses. God, what was wrong with him? The snow-haired teenager had begun to dig his way into Hiccup's heart and, perish the thought, he realized that he had begun to think of Jack, more than necessary to deduce the intentions of the other male. This was insane, absolutely horrible and completely exhilarating at the same time.
