Update 9/19: Hey guys, I just want to say thank you to those that have been following this story throughout the years and welcome to those new readers coming in.

I want you guys to know I personally don't like this story. Not because it doesn't have a good story, I'm just very critical and I feel like I've been in tough times of my life while writing this story and it kinda brings me back to those days. I love that it's had such a great response and so many people love this story, that's why I'm desperate to finish but I've realized that because of this desperation I've rushed the story and was never able to really give it my best. Because of the update gap, my writing process is definitely not the same so I will be revamping these next few chapters to catch it up with the latest and hopefully continue on. Please be patient as I will try my best to catch up and finish. I love you all and remember if you guys have requests, you're welcome to send it my way. R&R and stay beautiful 3

It's been three years since the last time I packed my bags to leave my 'home' and that was when I was in the Doom Patrol. it wasn't because I got kicked off or anything. I just wanted a change of pace, Y'know? To get out of the birds nest and become a hero, like they said I couldn't be.

And I did.

It's been three years since I've become a Titan and had done so much since then. I made friends, saved the world, fell in love, I put myself in a place where belonged, or so I thought.. The messed up part was that now I'm finding myself packing my bags for good and not by my own choice.

"Hey" I heard a familiar voice call out from behind me and I already knew who it was. Not bothering to look back, I just responded with a simple hello and continued to clean, pack, and throw away. I didn't want to deal with this. It was too much.

"I'm sorry for what Robin did to you… It's not like it was your fault." She whispered softly before continuing.

"You ended up saving me too."

"Rae, go back to bed its 2 am."

"No."

I just sighed. Can't a guy get any privacy in here?

"In any case, I'm practically useless now... my powers are-" I trailed off and and looked away. I couldn't say it without feeling nauseous.

"My powers are going away."

I turned around to find Raven looking at me with surprise written out in her eyes. She couldn't believe me and I don't blame her, I couldn't believe it myself but we've witness so many inexplicable things that it wasn't too much of a shock as it was more of a loss.

"W-what?"

I shut my eyes, sighed again and painfully reached for my ears. I placed my finger on the back of one of them and pushed forward, showing off my relatively normal ear.

"It's not… pointy anymore."

Then, I showed all my teeth. All of them aligned perfectly and square. No fangs. The small under bite that I had almost went away too, because the extra teeth that I grew in the back had come off when I was eating an apple a couple days prior.

Raven's eyes sparked with curiosity, it's probably all in my head but she seemed almost a bit ...glad? It was odd. Raven wasn't one to portray much emotion in emotional events but in a scenario like this, she definitely wouldn't express excitement.

My eyes squinted at, trying to read her as she shifted and looked the other way. It was uncomfortably silent and the air was tense, almost hostile. I felt like something was wrong, though I blamed that on recent events I've been nothing but on edge since.

"I'm sorry Beast Boy..." she says as she turns her back on me to leave.

"Aren't you gonna snuggle with this hunk before he leaves?" I finally said, breaking the tension in the room with the best fake smile I could muster.

She gave me a glare an empty one at that and proceeded to walk out. Not even a goodbye? That was weird. I stood confused and racked my brain for a good explanation. Raven and I had been dating for the past 6 months, and she never refuses to snuggle. Deep down she loved being cuddled and I always knew it.

I feel like I should have chased her down, but as I was evaluating my room, I had a lot of work to do and Robin wasn't about to extent my time here nor am I interested in imposing myself. Just because I leave doesn't mean we don't have to be together, I had that one final thought of Raven before I proceeded.

After a half an hour of cleaning and packing, I felt I had progressed a lot. I placed all my bags neatly on the bed and wiped the sweat of my brow.

"Phew, who knew I had so much stuff." I said proudly looking at my hard work.

I decided to head to kitchen for some cold water. I walked through the hallways, getting one last good look at everything. I walked passed Robins door but paused as I heard a high pitch noise coming from in there.

It was… giggling? But that sounded like... Raven?

I listened in and heard more giggling and casual chatter. Raven doesn't go around laughing for anyone.

Letting curiosity take over me, I transformed myself into a gnat and flew under the door, just enough to where I can see then cuddling and kissing and all the thing she was supposed to do to ME.

'H-how could she?' I thought sadly. I kept staring as I saw Robin pull back and caress her face.

"Trust me Raven, things will be better with him gone" he heard Robin say. She nodded her head and leaned in, giving him a sensual kiss on the lips. Anger started to bubble in me, she was in on this? I couldnt' believe it.

I left from the door crack and ran to my room. With hot, angry tears running down my face I grabbed all my belongings and opened my window. I cursed this place and all of it's inhabitants.

'I don't need them. I'll do them the favor." He spat out to himself before he transformed into a Pterodactyl and proceeded to grab his bags with his claws and fly away into the night.

7:30 in the morning and the Titans were all eating breakfast waiting anxiously for Beast Boy to come down and say his final goodbyes. The air was tense and Cyborg personally was in a state of panic for his friend. Like himself, he knew the little guy had worked tooth and nail to get to where he was. He took his unfortunate circumstances and made something for himself but now after so long it was going to be taken. Why? He still couldn't wrap his head around it.

"Maybe the little guys still sleeping. He's had to pack his entire room in one night, I don't blame him for sleeping late." Cyborg said trying to defend his friend from their already fuming leader.

"Yeah, well he was supposed to be gone an hour ago. I'm going to let it slide but by noon, he's out!"

"Aw c'mon man! Give the guy a break! It wasn't even his fault!"

"Cyborg quiet! You're in no position to question my judgment! This is better for him and for us, Trust me. Besides, you're not the only one who's going to miss him." Robin said almost vindictively before grabbing his coffee mug and walking off to sit next to Raven, on the other far side of where Starfire was sitting.

Cyborg let out a low growl before continuing to cook his breakfast whilst muttering ten million horrors about Robin. Starfire sat at the edge of the table quietly. Fiddling with her fingers she sheepishly asked.

"We should go and do the checking up on him, no?"

"If you want go ahead, but you're worrying for nothing" Robin muttered as he took a sip of his coffee and later returned to reading his newspaper.

Starfire nodded. she had a very displeased look on her face and pushed away her fresh plate of food Cyborg had just set for her.

"Thank you Cyborg, but I don't feel too well." She said turning to him, giving him a knowing look. Cyborg seemed to have understood her gesture and picked up the plate.

"Don't stress it Star, I'll save it for when you're feeling better. You should go rest."

She nodded her head and gave him a small smile before dismissing herself. As the door closed behind her she found herself quietly thinking to herself 'what is the meaning of Robin's hostile behavior?'. he had been so distant with her, ever since that incident, he hasn't been the same. It's like the Robin everyone knew and loved disappeared. The way he spoke, his demeaner, he was... a bad guy? In her mind, he was beginning to paint himself as one. She dismissed her thoughts and continued down the hall to the changelings room and slowly knocked on his door.

"Friend? It is I, Starfire. Are you alright?" She waited for a moment for a response and tried again but still no answer. She raised an eyebrow and pressed her ear against the door. Nothing. Not even his famous loud snoring was heard.

She took a deep breath before raising her leg and with a forceful push, she kicked his door down. She looked around in horror and gasped when he was nowhere in sight. The only thing she saw were scattered left-over items and an open window.

"Oh Beast Boy…" she took one good look at the evidence around her and concluded he left through the window, possibly flying. With that she hurried down the hall and into the kitchen where everyone snapped their gaze to her as soon as she bursted in.

"HE'S GONE" she yelled out.

"What?!" Cyborg asked raising his brow and dropping his cooking utensils.

"Come on, search his room." Robin walked passed Raven and was followed by Cyborg who had some trouble ripping off his apron. As Starfire was about to leave she noticed Raven still sitting at the table reading her book like nothing had just happened.

"Um… Raven, won't you be assisting us?"

Raven just shook her head, her eyes never leaving her book. Starfire just shrugged and left.

'She's different too...' Starfire was beginning to get frustrated as her thoughts began to race. What was going on?

They had finished searching the entire room and nothing but remains well… remained. Only garbage, and broken pieces of furniture were scattered around the room. Large scratches were found on the window frame and the floor a few feet away.

"That's some shit! He… He didn't even say goodbye."

Cyborg sadly looked down catching sight of the toy monkey that he remembers from when Ravens powers went haywire. Starfire put her hand on his shoulder to comfort him and he just smiled back at her.

"Thanks Star"

He picked up the toy and placed it in one of his body compartments. Robin the whole time just stared out the window silently and in all actuality, he hardly lifted a finger in the search. He turned to face the other two in the room and shrugged.

"What can we do? He left early, really early. I guess he didn't like being laid off…"

He left the room without another word. Not even a sympathetic look. No comfort words. Nothing. Starfire just looked at Cyborg with tears threatening to leak out of her eyes.

"Cyborg, something is not right... I can feel it." Cyborg frowned and opened his arms, inviting the alien princess to be comforted by him.

"Yeah, I know Star. BB will be alright. We'll find him." Starfire leaned in Cyborgs chest letting her tears run until they couldn't run anymore.

-Four Months Later-

Four months, four long months and I'm finally back in Jump City. Well, that was it. My shape shifting powers are officially gone as painful as that transition was, I'm glad no one will recognize me. My hair went back to its pale blonde, my eyes were once again an icy blue that sometimes were depicted as gray. My skin went back to its old porcelain ivory. So pale, I don't even think Raven was as pale as I was. Oh Raven…

I shook my head, leaning back against the planes chair I looked out the window. The city was quite a sight for sore eyes. memories of my previous life began to flash before my eyes and a sad nostalgia passed through me. I gazed down sadly feeling the tears build up in my chest.

My thoughts got cut off by the flight attendant who spoke out to everyone on the place. She gave out rules and goodbyes as the plane was now coming down to land.

'I guess this is it G' I said grabbing my bags.

I walked off the plane and wondered aimlessly around the airport. Trying to figure out a game plan as I stopped at a nearby coffee shop for a drink. I enjoyed my time off. I spent a lot of time in parts of Brazil and South Africa. Hanging out in small villages I had grown up in. I was relearning languages and the culture of the inhabitants, old and new, and now, getting back to normal civilization to try to start a normal life was a little nerve wracking.

I spent my nights sleeping in trees and spacey thistles, I didn't need to worry about rent or anything a REGULAR person would, but now... this place was a different animal kingdom; I still couldn't decide which one was more dangerous and it wasn't like my parents' inheritance money is eternal. It was actually running pretty thin.

I sighed then sipped my very hot coffee and thought aloud to myself.

"So, I'm going to get the cheapest efficiency I can find. Then, get a part time job. Then, enroll into a school…"

I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose, closing my eyes and relieving the new stress that was dawning on me.

"Let's see how this goes"
