Kagome lifted up her cup of freshly brewed tea, courtesy of Sebastian, and drank it thankfully. Her story had been long to tell and her throat was dry. She had not told Claude or Alois many details of her life, only that she was a priestess and was used to interacting with demons. With these two though, she found herself spilling everything.

Ciel sat back in his chair as he contemplated everything the girl in front of him had just confessed. Had he not had his own experiences with devils and magic and reapers, he most likely would not have believed her. But since he had his own experiences, he most definitely believed her and found himself understanding why Sebastian said she could be as valuable as he himself was.

Sebastian grinned darkly in satisfaction. As she told her story, it became harder and harder to keep his dark pleasure from showing though a grin did escape occasionally but otherwise he was able to keep up the appearance of calm. Not only was she a powerful priestess but she was also the priestess of the shikon no tama and a time traveler and now seemingly ageless. 'She will be mine,' he thought as he poured her another cup of tea and sat a few cookies on a plate in front of her. He had wanted her before but more of a passing thing but now he wanted her for keeps.

Kagome studied both of them carefully as she debated on whether or not to tell them that the shikon was still in existence. None, other than Sesshoumaru, knew that it was back in her body. It was undetectable to everyone. She even debated on seeing if Sebastian would even be able to eat any of the souls trapped in it. She decided she would hold onto that information for later in case she needed it.

CIel had several questions he wanted to ask but he could tell that the young priestess was tired and he could understand why. Living with who she did had to be exhausting not to mention her treatment earlier that day. He was still upset about that. It showed a severe lack of control to strike a woman. He decided she would be useful if her abilities were as strong as she said. That discussion could wait for a few days though so she could rest up and get used to her new home. He watched Kagome sit down her second cup of tea and finish off some cookies and let her know his decision.

"You may stay here as long as you like. I can assure you that you will be safe here. We can discuss details later as I can tell you are tired so I will have Sebastian escort you to your room where you can take a nap or relax until dinner time," Ciel stated. He also needed to decide how she would fit in with the rest of his staff but then he also thought about her mention this Sesshoumaru and how he was interested in business ventures. He made a mental note to ask about that as well.

"Thank you. I am tired and would love to be able to lay down for a bit. I would be happy to answer any questions you have at dinner time," Kagome said as she stood up with the help of Sebastian who seemed to not want to let go of her arm as he immediately tucked it under his arm. She didn't really care though as she was so exhausted that she put her weight on him by leaning into him fully. A low purr was her reward as she doubted he would do anything in front of his master. It was also low enough that Ciel wouldn't hear it either.

Ciel knew Sebastian had an interest in the priestess so decided to give him leave to be with her. He did have plenty of paperwork to keep him busy for a few hours. "Sebastian, escort the Lady Kagome to her room and make sure she has everything she needs. I will not need you until dinnertime. Make sure she has appropriate attire," he said while waving his hand in dismissal.

"As you wish, young master," Sebastian said and then led Kagome from the room. He already had dresses made so that was already taken care of. The rest of the afternoon until dinnertime he could spend solely focusing on her. 'First thing she needs is a bath and I need to destroy that dress as it was no doubt from Claude,' he thought to himself as they arrived at Kagome's new room.

Kagome gasped in delight as the door to her new room was opened. The furniture was a dark cherry wood and the sheets were a gorgeous shade of teal blue with purple accent pillows. There was a small sitting area over by the fire place and was the opposite of the bed so was purple with a teal blue pillow and a teal blue throw lying over one arm of the chair. She turned to Sebastian as the door closed and asked him if he designed the room.

Sebastian allowed a pleased grin to spread over his face as he answered her, "I did. I noticed you seemed to favor these colors when you were at the market where I met you." He wasn't able to say anything else as he had to catch Kagome as she threw herself at him. She buried her face in his chest and he became concerned when he could smell as if she would cry but he could not detect any scent of sadness. His confusion to her behavior was ended when she looked up at him with a breathtaking smile of happiness.

Kagome was so delighted that she couldn't help but throw herself at Sebastian. No one had ever designed a room just for her before. After burying her face in his chest she smiled up at him and had to thank him. "Thank you so much, Sebastian. I love it. You ended up guessing my favorite colors. No one has ever done anything like this for me before," she explained to him.

Sebastian smiled softly down at the woman he wanted and was genuinely happy that she was pleased with his efforts. It was a bit refreshing to have someone truly appreciative of his talents. He also enjoyed the squeal of surprise as he picked her up and took her to the edge of the bed where her new dress awaited her. He wanted that dress from Claude destroyed as quickly as possible. "You will change into this dress so that what you are wearing can be destroyed," Sebastian purred the order into Kagome's ear delighting in the shiver that wracked her form.

Kagome slid her eyes to stare into Sebastian's to see his seriousness at the order. Since she had been around demons enough she knew why he gave this order but she felt a swell of playfulness swell up within her. She had been repressing it for so long but decided to see how Sebastian handled it. Her lips curved into a taunting smile as she exclaimed, "Make me!" Sebastian's answering smirk had her shivering in anticipation whereas with Claude she would have held fear. 'This will be fun,' she thought.
