"Okay, boys, I'm sure we can work this out!" Anna's ball had been promptly unfastened from her ankle as soon as Elsa had given the order, and she now found herself being drug along by two distinctively imposing guards who made no response as she exhausted herself with pleas. "There's been some mistake! That was some bitch setting me up! I'm a good girl!"

"Good girl, huh? Is that why you got a life sentence?"

"Why does everyone always feel the need to bring that up?" Anna was attempting to use sarcasm as a defense mechanism, but her involuntary squirms as she scrambled to maintain her footing as her toenails were scraped across the concrete floor were a giveaway that she was terrified. When she had been a little girl, Anna had once been playing a game of hide & seek with Elsa which had resulted in her accidentally locking herself in a small closet. She had only been stuck in there for a couple of minutes, but the experience of having a panic attack as she banged on the door calling on someone to let her out was enough to make her claustrophobic on some level. Amazingly, she was able to keep that under control in her prison cell, but from what she had heard from Rapunzel, the isolation block's "rooms" were much, much smaller.

And she would be all by herself. Alone.

"God, you boys are stronger than you look! Look, I'm a desperate young lady. Either of you up for, I dunno, any favors? I mean, I'm not in here for prostitution, but I'm sure I could do a good enough job if you were interested!"

But they ignored her begging (and her offer to use her own body as a bribe, which probably violated several of Frozen Heart's rules) and pulled her along. If Anna's hands hadn't been bound behind her back, she might've been able to put up more of a fight, but as things were she was helpless against their tenacity, and after going through what felt like an endless number of doors (each with an endless number of locks), they finally arrived at their terrible destination.

The isolation block looked every bit as gloomy and ominous as Anna had feared. Each cell had a thick, solid door with no windows or bars, with the only opening being a small slot which she knew from a handful of TV shows she had seen was for her to slip her hands through for cuffing and uncuffing. Unlike standard population, it was almost as quiet as a graveyard. Well, almost. Occasionally the silence was broken by a loud cry of anguish from behind one of cell doors, or from the loud pounding of fists of someone as violently eager to escape as Anna had been to break out of that tiny closet all of those years ago.

"Alright, you little twat, we're going to take those plastic ties off. Then you either get naked or enjoy a nice blast from our tasers. The choice is yours."

Anna's survival instincts lost to her temper as her blood boiled to an unhealthy temperature.

"There's no need to talk to me that way. I may be a worthless jailbird to you, but I'm still a human being with rights."

"Yeah. And you lost all those rights once you entered the gates of this fine establishment."

The guards both enjoyed a good laugh together, and there was something about the tone of their amusement that made the hairs on Anna's legs (of which there were many now, thanks to her lack of a razor) tingle. This wasn't the usual smugness the officers normally gave her, in which they talked to her like she was garbage, sure, but they were never sadistic with her.

This felt different. This felt...cruel.

"I'll have you know that I'm a very important person in these parts, and you should both be careful how you treat me!"

Once again, Anna's mouth had a way of speaking before common sense had a chance to tell it to shut up.

"Oh, important, are you?" One of the guards gave a bow. "Pardon me, my lady, but we didn't realize you were royalty. What are you exactly? The Princess of Murder?"

They both laughed again, this time louder than before.

"You just...you wouldn't want...you wouldn't want for the warden to get mad at you, would you?"

"Oh, you mean we'll get in trouble for following her instructions?" The guard snickered as he undid the binding that entrapped Anna's wrists. "I'll be sure to ask for her forgiveness. Now get into your birthday suit."

Not wanting to risk feeling the sting of far too many volts of electricity zapping through her flesh, Anna miserably obeyed the officer's command, stripping out of her stripes and kicking them away from her. Without hesitation, she placed her hands over her private parts, but the guards were having none of that, and quickly barked at her to place her hands against the wall.

"Stick your butt out, bitch. We gotta make sure you ain't hiding anything in your prison wallet or your back door."

Anna could only grind her teeth together and close her eyes as every inch of her body was searched (inside and out), all the while praying that something convenient might happen in her favor such as the guard having fatal heart attacks. Alas, she had no such luck.

"Well, you little piece of shit, it looks like you're all clean. So it's time to escort a Princess like yourself to your special chambers."

Anna swallowed hard as the officers had yet another fit of giggles.

"I'm not kidding, okay? The warden could be very upset with you if she found out about your behavior. I'm aware guards have their certain 'manners' around here, but you two are just being inexcusable."

Anna's mouth was very stupid.

"Oh, well, why don't you tattle on us the next time you have brunch with her? In the meantime, enter your cell or else."

They unlocked a door (with at least ten different keys) and slid it open. It made a horrible low noise that made Anna's skin crawl.

"Wait...don't I...get clothing?"

"No need for that. We wouldn't want to risk you hanging that lovely neck of yours with your pants, now would we?"

They gave Anna a shove with such abrasive force that she nearly tripped and fell flat on her face. With no way out of the situation, the prisoner reluctantly did as she was told.

"Have a nice stay, Princess of Murder!" The door was slammed behind her with a sickening bang. Anna could hear the clicks of the multiple locks going into place. There was no way she was getting out of here.

"BASTARDS!" Her rage over everything had become too much for her. "WHEN ELSA HEARS ABOUT THIS, SHE'LL HAVE YOUR HEADS! SHE'LL FREEZE YOUR ASSES!"

She collapsed onto the floor, too tired to shout any more and figuring that the guards didn't give any form of a shit about what she had to say anyway. They almost certainly knew that Elsa was her sister, as that was a secret she wouldn't be able to keep from the staff. So her threats on such matters must've been of very little concern to them.

There wasn't much that could be said about Anna's newly acquired living conditions. There was an overwhelming smell which must've been some sort of bleach, a mattress on the floor (with a pillow attached to it) paired with an orange blanket which looked like it had been purchased at a flea market, and a wooden bucket in the corner which probably wasn't there for the purpose of her being able to wash her face.

"Dear God, this place is like a dungeon." She crawled over to the mattress and laid down, feeling sleep starting to win her over despite the accelerated race of her pulse from only moments ago. "But hey, at least I have privacy now, right? Alone time. This will be good for me. This will be very good for me. I can finally write that novel!"

She was already talking to herself. She didn't take this as a good sign towards the direction that her sanity might be going.

"Elsa, you bitch! Why the hell would you send your own sister here? What did I ever do to you?"

But there was no answer. Wherever Elsa was right now, it was nowhere near Anna. As always.
