"Fitz, babe, it's beautiful. I can't believe Cyrus managed to pull this off."
"It is. You know, it is good for the nation as well. It seems everyone is curious as to whether we are having a boy, or a girl."
"You know, I've heard that the agents have a pool going and supposedly the secretaries have gotten in on it as well. It's up to almost $5,000."
"$5,000! And who do you think is winning?"
"The ones who have guessed correctly, I suppose. Although, it will be fun to see their faces when the truth is revealed."
"Most definitely."
Liv reclined back against Fitz's chest and sighed as his hand lovingly swept across her abdomen. They were laying on the chaise lounge on the Truman Balcony, looking at the Washington Monument that was lit up in their honor.
Since all of America was pondering whether they were having a boy or a girl, Liv brought it to everyone's attention that she wanted to do something spectacular. Cyrus had come to her with the idea of lighting both the white house and the monument at night. Half of the structures would be lit blue, while the other half would be pink. After the baby was born, the structures would illuminate in the color that reflected the gender.
At first Fitz wasn't too thrilled about the idea; that is until he saw the way Liv's face lit up as the visual sank into her mind. Once he saw how happy she was, he knew that this was how they were going to do their big reveal. Out of everything that Cyrus had done, this had to have been the best idea ever.
It seemed that everywhere he turned, Fitz would hear someone making a guess to the gender of the baby. His secretaries had been extremely pleasant, and often tried to coax him into telling them whether they were expecting a boy or a girl.
"What are you laughing at?" Liv asked as Fitz let out a small chuckle.
"Nothing major. I'm just thinking of that time where Lauren came up to me with three bibs. One was pink, another yellow, and the last one blue. They all had "Matter of National Security' etched on them, and she wanted me to pic my favorite." He explained as he continued chuckling at the thought of how down Lauren seemed when Fitz told her to choose whatever she liked best.
"Babe, that's nothing. Remember when Charlotte made cookies and topped them with pink, blue, or purple icing. She wanted me to choose whatever cookie looked best. I told her that I was currently watching my weight since I had literally popped out overnight. I thought she was going to cry so I walked away and asked her to just put a few on a napkin for me and that would be fine." Liv added with a smile as she fondly recalled some of the many antics Fitz's secretaries have pulled over the last few months.
"That's nothing. How about when Lorraine decided that she was going to crochet a blanket, and wanted to know what color we thought was the prettiest. The look on her face when I asked her to just make one of each, and we'd donate the one we didn't use, to a women's shelter… Priceless."
The two of them settled back into a comfortable silence, and soon became entranced with the pink and blue illuminating the monument before them. Liv was now 32 weeks, and they were sure that she wasn't going to last much longer. Her tiny frame had almost doubled in size, but Fitz never thought she looked as beautiful as she did while carrying their child.
With everything going on, the planning of their pending arrival, running the nation, Mia and her slew of after school activities as well as counseling, and even the deterioration of Rosie's health, Fitz was thankful for these moments when he could just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet with the love of his life.
He smiled as he unknowingly coaxed a rumbling moan out of Liv's chest. "What was that for?" He asked, although he already knew.
"I love just… being… here… with you." She responded softly as she melted into his arms. His left hand was rubbing soothing circles on her womb, while his right hand was tenderly scratching her scalp. It wasn't long before he heard the soft purrs, signaling she had fallen asleep. Without a second thought, Fitz scooped his wife up in his arms, and carried her into their bedroom.
He laid her down on the bed, and began to undress her, before tucking her snuggly underneath the covers. Fitz stood there for a few minutes and just looked at the most beautiful creature he had ever laid eyes on. Out of everything that had gone on in their lives, they were there, together, starting a family of their own, and it was amazing.
Fitz smiled as he leaned down and placed a gentle kiss on Liv's forehead, trying his best to not wake her. He allowed the kiss to linger for a few moments, before walking to his side of the bed, and undressing, and climbing under the sheets as well.
As if on cue, Liv turned to face him. He loved how his wife always sought him out, even in her sleep. Nothing in the world felt better than being loved, and she showered him with it, every single day. Fitz knew he was a very lucky man.
The moment Liv settled and fell back into a peaceful slumber, Fitz wiggled his way down so his face was directly in front of Liv's ever expanding bump. "Hey in there. I'm not sure what you are doing, but you're running out of room. We know the doctor said you'd be here early, so we're hoping that you are ready when the time comes. We want you to be big and strong, and just know that we can't wait to meet you. Daddy loves you so much, and I cannot wait to meet you." With that, Fitz kissed Liv's stomach goodnight, not realizing that she had been watching him the entire time. He was going to be an excellent father.

"Ok, what do you call a symphony of whales?" Mia asked as she tried to hold in the laughter at her own joke.
"I don't know, what do you call a symphony of whales?" Fitz asked as he could tell by the smirk on her face that Liv had already heard this joke before.
"An orca-stra." Mia responded as she fell into a fit of laughter after delivering her punchline. "Ok Ok! I have another one!" She continued while struggling to breathe through the laughter.
"Let's hear it." Liv responded this time.
"What does a nosey pepper do?" Mia asked, and Liv smiled as she knew she hadn't heard this joke before.
"I don't know baby girl. What does a nosey pepper do?" Liv asked as she snuggled into Fitz's side, and waited for Mia to deliver the punchline.
"It gets jalapeño business!" Mia responded as she fell backwards onto the floor and let out a howling laugh.
It was Wednesday night, and ever since Rosie had been placed onto hospice care, they would try to take one night of the week where Fitz would get off earlier than normal. He would finish up in the oval around 3, they would go to visit Rosie, and allow her and Mia to have their alone time before they each went in to sit with her. They both knew these trips were hard on Mia, and even though she put on a brave front, it was clear she was hurting as she watched her grandmother slowly slip away.
Although Mia got to see Rosie every day, Wednesdays were harder as Mia didn't have an after school activity to keep her occupied after her visit. Therefore, Liv and Fitz both made the conscious decision to make sure they were there for Mia, and what better way than family night.
They had already enjoyed their Wednesday night dinner of pizza and loaded French fries, and they were apparently now at the goofy part of their evening, before bath time and a movie. Liv and Fitz were cuddled together on the sofa, and Mia was sitting on the floor, facing them as she rattled off the funniest jokes her mind could think of. She had definitely come a long way since they had first met her. She was more outspoken and happy. She was an all-around great kid.
"Ok, last one! Why can't you give Elsa a balloon?" Mia asked as she once again tried to hold in her laughter. Fitz looked at Liv who simply shrugged before they both turned their sights back on to Mia.
"Why can't you give Elsa a balloon?" Fitz asked as he tried to hold in his own laughter. Honestly his amusement was more from the reaction Mia had to the jokes than the jokes themselves. The way she was truly enjoying herself, in spite of everything going on around her, made her laughter all the more infectious.
"You can't give Elsa a balloon because she'd just Let It Go!" She answered, making sure to sing the "Let It Go" part. All three of them fell into a fit of laughter at Mia's antics. There was nothing in the world that was better than this time spent together, just the three of them shutting the world out, and just being.
As the laughter died down, Liv suggested that Mia go take her bath, and like magic, nanny Jen appeared to help her prepare for bed. When it was just to two of them, Fitz turned them so Liv's back was lying flat on the sofa. He leaned his head down, and Liv embraced for the lip scorching kiss she just knew was coming. So imagine her surprise when Fitz moved downward and lifted her shirt, then lowered the waistband of her yoga pants just enough to expose her full belly.
"I know mommy isn't comfortable like this for too long, so I am going to make this quick. I can't wait for you to meet Mia. Every day she does something amazing and out of this world. The strength that she shows at such a young age brings tears of joy to my eyes, and pride to my heart. I know that she will be the best big sister for you and every day she will do something to make you laugh." Fitz placed a kiss on Liv's belly, and began kissing his way up to properly tend to his wife.
"Hmmm I thought you had forgotten about me." Liv jabbed as Fitz's lips hovered mere inches over hers.
"Never." He replied as he fused their lips together for the scorching kiss Liv had been aching for all day. Fitz moved her upwards on the sofa so she was no longer lying flat on her back, and her leg tangled with his in appreciation. A moan escaped Liv's mouth as she felt Fitz's tongue begging for entrance. She parted her lips slightly, and gasped as his tongue surged into her mouth, seeking refuge. She obliged him and began sucking on his tongue as his hips began grinding into hers.
Fitz's hand latched onto the back of Liv's thigh, encouraging her to wrap her legs around his waist as best she could. He could feel the heat radiating from her core as their clothed lower halves came together, both seeking release.
"What do you say we take this to the…" Fitz began, needing to feel his wife in the most carnal of ways. Before he had a chance to finish; they heard approaching footsteps and Fitz quickly moved off of his wife as he heard Mia returning with Jen. She was rambling on and on about her birthday that was quickly approaching, and Fitz couldn't help but smile as he thought of the surprise they had in store for her. It was hard to believe that Mia was almost 9. Fitz knew they hadn't had her that long, but the thought of her being one year closer to going off to college and eventually starting a family of her own, tugged at his heart. No matter how she came to be a part of this family, she would always be his little girl.
Liv on the other hand was not as quick as Fitz to calm down from their encounter. Her hormones were always in overdrive as of late, and now that she was riled up, she knew she'd be in a mood until they were able to finish what they started. However, Liv sat up and fixed her clothing, and put on her best from for the little girl who was now entering the room.
"Ready to watch the movie Mia?" Fitz asked as he and Liv moved apart so Mia could nestle her tiny frame between the two of them. Together, the three of them cuddled on the sofa and watched Aladdin until Mia's head began to grow heavy and her soft snores began to fill the room. Neither of them had ever been happier for bedtime to arrive.

It was nearly 3 am when Liv was startled out of her sleep. She could hear the rain beating down on the windows, and the thunder and lightning were relentless. She looked over at Fitz who hadn't budged an inch. She had no clue how he could be such a heavy sleeper, especially with the way that Cyrus constantly wakes him up at various points of the night.
Liv leaned over as best she could and gently stroked the curls that were dangling on Fitz's forehead. She softly kissed his cheek, before swinging her legs over her side of the bed, and slipping her feet into her slippers. The moment she stood, the ache between her thighs reminded her of the evening they had shared once Mia had gone to sleep. Fitz had been particularly generous this evening, her guess was he felt bad they had to stop earlier on the sofa. Either way, Liv had tried to be just as giving and attentive, but Fitz wasn't having it.
"This is about you, babe." Were the words that he had spoken as he flashed her the sexiest smile, before continuing to devour her most intimate of places.
Liv turned and looked at her husband, and licked her lips as she took in his appearance. He was dressed in nothing but a pair of boxers, their sheet draped low across his waist. One leg poked out from under the sheet, the knee bent so his legs were in a figure 4. One hand was resting on his abs, the other was tucked behind his head. She knew he needed his sleep, but she wanted… no… she needed him, and she knew just how to wake him up.
Fitz was standing outside on the Truman balcony, naked. This may not have been too much of a problem, except, judging the snow covering the ground- it was apparently the middle of winter. That, and he was the president of the United States, standing on the Truman Balcony, naked.
He walked further out onto the balcony with not a single fuck to give of whether or not anyone could see him. Halfway to the railing, he stopped as his eyes locked on his wife's naked form, walking towards him. His mouth curved upwards into a smile as he studied the way her hips swayed from side to side with each stride she took.
"You look so fucking delicious." He heard her say as she hungrily licked her lips. When she reached him, Liv looked down between the two of them and Fitz gasped as she growled, before lowering herself to her knees and looking up at his fully erect member.
"Babe, people will see…" Fitz began to protest. Although he loved it when his wife pleasured him this way, he didn't want others to witness it. This was their special moment. One only the two of them should be privy to.
"There's no one around for miles babe. Relax, Mr. President. Let me take care of you." She begged in a breathy tone, as she stroked him until his hips started to thrust in sync with her strokes.
"Now this is going to be cold" she said, and Fitz's vision suddenly went blurry. He knew she was doing something to him, what he couldn't tell. He felt the coldness of some substance being spread on his member. The more he thought about it, it was snowing outside and that was the only part of him that felt cold. He quickly lost his train of thought as the coldness was quickly replaced by his wife's warm wet mouth.
Although he couldn't see what she was doing, Fitz's head fell back, and his hands tangled in her hair as he allowed his wife to pleasure him. He could feel every inch of her tongue as she repeatedly assaulted him, and the moans and hums that were escaping her throat, had him on the verge of climax.
"Open your eyes." He heard, just before his wife took him into her mouth once again. Fitz refused to open his eyes as he felt himself being pulled away. However, once he realized he was being pulled towards something more intense, Fitz's eyes popped open, and he realized that his dream, was almost as good as reality…
When Liv stepped out of the room, she decided to check on Mia first. She knew the child could sleep through world war three, but she wanted to make sure that she was ok tonight. Of course, Liv had her reasons, but it is what any good parent would do. After confirming her suspicions of a loudly snoring Mia, Liv walked around the residence until she found herself in their kitchen.
She quickly padded over to the fridge and pulled out whipped cream, strawberries, and chocolate syrup. She set the items on the counter, and made her way back to the freezer, in search of ice cream. The moment her tiny hand wrapped around the freezer door handle, Liv paused, and thought of a completely different way she could enjoy the toppings. Releasing the handle, Liv walked back to the counter and gathered the toppings, before making her way back to the bedroom.
She wasn't sure how she managed to do it, but Liv had made it to the kitchen and back without Fitz stirring. Today had been a very long day for the both of them, him more than her. She almost felt bad about what she was about to do; almost.
Liv carefully climbed onto the bed, taking care to not wake Fitz too soon. She took her time admiring his well sculpted form, and clenched her thighs together as she reached for the whipped cream. Slowly, she began coating his hardening erection with the creamy substance, before topping it off with chocolate syrup. She slowly began licking it off from base to tip, until a strangled cry escaped his throat.
"Open your eyes" She moaned as she continued licking her husband clean. She could sense the moment Fitz was pulled out of his slumber, as his grip on her hair tightened.
"Livvie…"
"Relax, Mr. President. Let me take care of you."
Fitz's head fell back as Liv took him completely into her mouth. She was relentless in the attention she was giving him, making sure to not miss a single inch of flesh. Fitz's eyes snapped shut, and he felt dizzy with the rush of stars floating behind his eyelids. He was sure she was trying to kill him. He could honestly see the headlines now ; President Fitzgerald Thomas Grant III, dies due First Lady Olivia Grant's head game. However, he was pulled from his thoughts when he felt his orgasm about to explode.
He sat up quickly and positioned himself behind Liv. He could tell she was pissed that he stopped her, but there was no way she was ingesting his cum and sharing it with their bundle. Before she had a chance to object, Fitz joined their bodies together, and placed kisses up and down his wife's spine, as he thrust them towards climax.
Saturday arrived faster than expected. Fitz woke up rather early, and turned to enjoy a little cuddle time with his wife. The only problem was she wasn't in bed, and from the coolness of the sheets on her side, hadn't been for quite some time.
"Liv?"
"I'm in my closet honey."
Fitz tossed his covers back and made his way towards his wife's closet. When he got the double doors, Fitz gasped when he noticed his wife's closet reaked of cleaning solution.
"Livvie?" He asked cautiously as this was something new. He knew Liv could be on the OCD side, but that was normally when something was bothering her. As he took in his wife scrubbing the floor of her closet, while listening to her "happy" cd, Fitz was utterly confused.
Liv stood as quickly as her expanding belly would allow. She walked over to Fitz and placed a chaste kiss on his lips. "Good morning babe. Would you like for me to call down and have them start breakfast?" She asked as if she weren't on some major cleaning spree of her closet.
"Not yet. First, I'd like for you to explain to me why you're scrubbing your closet like it's the kitchen or bathroom." Fitz asked as he cocked a questioning eyebrow.
Liv began to brush off her husband's questioning, but had to admit that her cleaning her closet in this manor was quiet odd behavior, even for her. "I just spilled a little of my tea on the floor and grabbed some items to clean it up. One spot turned into the entire floor." She answered as best she could.
Fitz studied his wife for a moment and decided to not argue her on the subject. As long as she wasn't overexerting her body, he would let her continue on her spree. "let me know when you're ready for breakfast." Was all he said before exiting the closet, and leaving Liv to resume her activities. Fitz walked into the bathroom and began his morning routine, then set off in search of the birthday girl.
"Happy birthday dear Mia, Happy birthday to you…"
Mia looked around the room as her cheeks began to blush. Never in her life had she been graced with so many friends. Over the past few months, she had quickly become the most popular girl in school, and it seemed like the entire school had shown up for her party.
Mia looked to Fitz and then Liv, who gave her a reassuring wink. She closed her eyes, and made a wish before blowing out her candles. The moment the last candle went out, the room erupted in cheer, which was quickly interrupted by the sounds of Liv crying out in pain.
All eyes turned to the president who had rushed to Liv's side.
"Livvie, what's wrong?" Fitz asked as he helped his wife lower herself into a chair.
"My water just broke."
"This just in. We have received word that First Lady Oliva Grant was taken to James Madison Hospital a few hours ago as she was in active labor. The first lady's due date was set to be four weeks from today, so this news is rather unexpected…. We have just received word that the first lady has given birth, and in a few short moments, the president and first lady will announce their arrival."
The last thing Liv wanted right now was to have a bunch of cameras in her face. After giving birth, the only thing she wanted to do was sleep and spend time with her family. However, they decided that they would in fact address the nation, as soon as Mia had met their newest addition.
Fitz could tell that Liv was getting antsy, and wanted to rest. So when there was a knock on the door, and Mia's head popped in, Fitz was able to breathe a sigh of relief.
Mia tip toed into the room, trying to be as quiet as she could possibly be. After introducing the children to one another, Fitz handed Mia a button, that would illuminate the Memorial, as well as the white house with the appropriate color.
"Ok, Liv, Mia… Let's address the nation."
After a few final make up touches, and a little sprucing of Liv's hair, they were ready to go live. The segment would begin with Fitz addressing the nation, and the camera would zoom in to deliver the answer that American had been waiting for.
"And we are live in 5…4…3…2…"
"Good evening. As many of you know, the first lady went into labor earlier today. Well, we are here to tell you that she is doing fine, as is our newest addition. So, with a little help from big sister Mia, we are ready to introduce you all to Landon Avery Grant…."
The camera zoomed out, showing Fitz holding their baby boy. His eyes were still closed, but a tiny bit of dark hair could be seen peeking out of his cap.
"And… We'd also like to introduce you to Laila Annaliegh Grant" Liv said at the same time Mia hit the button Fitz had given her to hold.
The camera switched to Liv, who was holding yet another bundle. Her eyes were closed as well, but just like her brother, you could see a tiny bit of dark hair peeking out of her cap. After a few seconds, the camera zoomed out to show both babies, before switching to a view of the white house as it went from white lites, to pink and blue stripes, just as the memorial had been the entire month before. The camera zoomed back to the new Grant family, and it was definitely a sight to behold. Mia was switching back and forth, cooing to both babies. Fitz looked up long enough to thank everyone for keeping their family in their thoughts and prayers, and ended with his signature "God Bless America" before the screen went black.
