The two commanders of the 10th division stepped away to an area of the beach, everyone resembled dots in the distance.

"Rangiku, it's very nice that you and Ichigo formed a relationship-"

"It's more than that captain, it's pure love. I don't want to leave him."

Toshiro sighed, "I can't deal with the amount of work that's been incomplete since you've been here with Ichigo."

M"It's just that..."

"I don't think you've attempted to even try to get any work done, we just came here for a while but you've become distracted."

'He shouldn't be surprised.' Rangiku thought to herself.

"You need to spend one last day with him. You have responsibilities. After today, we're going back."

Yoshi to began to walk off, "Captain wait!" Rangiku shouted, Toshiro did not respond. He simply flash stepped away.

She didn't quite understand her Captain's motives. Did she really want to leave her lover? But she has to think again, she has responsibilities and friends in the Soul Society. She had to talk with Ichigo about this. It brought pain to her that she would have to part ways with the man she loved.

Meanwhile Ichigo was thinking about what Byakuya had told him. Did he really need her around all the time?

He hadn't seen her for a couple of minutes so he went to investigate, he hadn't got far before he seen her in the distance. He approached her.

"Hey! What's up?" He said.

"Just the captain and his usual routine, nagging me all the time."

"Oh, man. Well uh...it's getting late and I'm ready to go home."

"I'm getting tired too. I just need to lie down, with you."

They headed home and arrived in a few minutes, Rangiku went to take a shower. Ichigo went to the fridge for something to eat, he found a note:

Dear Ichigo, went to Yuzu and Karin's concert. Will be back later.

It didn't surprise him, he needed the house to himself anyway. He took a seat on the couch and turned on a video game. Super Smash Bros. for Wii U to be exact. He normally didn't have time for video games because it was always something with fighting monsters. After a couple of online rounds he laid down.

Rangiku came back downstairs and didn't attempt to kiss him, instead she spoke to him.

"Ichi, we need to talk about something."

"Yeah what is it?"

She began to put her hair in a ponytail, "Well, you know that I'm a very high ranked member in the 10th Division. So...I've been

taking a little vacation. Everyone else is gone and I'm the only one here so…"

"What are you trying to say?"

"I'm saying that...the Captain wants me to go back."

He crossed his arms and sank into the couch, "I should've figured Toshiro would crash the party sometime."

She giggled softly, "Well...we can still be together."

"Yeah, but so distant!"

"You mean...you aren't upset about it?"

"I'm a bit upset that you'll have to leave me but it's a responsibility. After all, I'm just a lowly substitute."

"I'll come back to visit, and one day I'll stay."

The next day, Rangiku headed back. Ichigo was there to see her off, but they did manage to get another round in. Ichigo had nothing else to do, video games became boring and no good ones were coming out anytime soon. TV was the same, and everything on the internet got old. He was simply bored.

He came to terms with what had to be done, no new Hollows were appearing.

A few weeks later he was watching Dragon Ball Super. He had turned it off after watching episode five, and fell asleep.

He woke up some time later, but he felt a heavy weight upon his chest. He was woke, but his eyes were not open. He could already feel what it was, no one else had hair so silky and smooth, or a body so soft. Or the sweet aroma of apricots. There was no need to open his eyes and identify, it was who loved him unlike anyone else.

Well, sorry it ended that way. I just wanted to finish this up. I apologize that I was so late, senior year really does a lot and gets in the way of a lot of things. If I have time I'll start another fanfiction that won't be Bleach. Cheerio!
