(With enough reviews, I will make this into a proper series)
There was a low beeping noise in the small room. It filled the are so completely, the only noise was a slow rise and fall on a screen. There were only two souls that occupied the room, both silent. One was conscious the other wasn't, this wasn't some silly love story in a happy place, this wasn't some sexy slow dance from the south. This was real and it was happening now. A woman and a male shared the room, the woman's hands were clasped together so tightly, her slightly tanned skin was blue from the popped veins, her head was in her lap, praying to whatever god in the sky was looking down at her. She was just praying, praying that the man in the bed would wake up, would rise from his slumber and tell her she's an idiot for staying.
The woman knew it sounded to good, blonde hair was sprayed out, as she looked over the other, it happened so quickly that she wasn't even fully able to understand. Her mind slowly faded back to that memory, to the memory of what had happened. The male that was currently in the bed, was standing so proudly in front of her, filled with Kunai, protecting her. She remembered so vividly the male's head turning to smile at her, thinking it be his death. Instead, here he was hooked up fighting for life. At least she hoped he was fighting for life.
The spiky haired bastard had been dancing with her for so long, she couldn't picture her life without the lazy ass. It was something so odd, that it wrecked her, and shook her to her core. She was exhausted to put simply, large dark bags held underneath her eye lids as she looked at the male, all she wanted was for him to wake up, that's all she wanted. She didn't care if he would ever talk to her again, she just wanted to know if he was going to be okay, if she would ever hear his laugh, his complaints, his voice. She wanted to know if she'd ever see his smile, smell his breath, drink his oxygen, taste his lips.
The female was shaken out of these thoughts, as she felt something crawling into her hand, her eyes shot open, as she looked. The other's hand had gently grasped it, slowly threading their digits one by one, the contact of flesh on flesh made her gasp. Tears began to form in her eyes as she looked up, the other's smile took her breath away. Unable to get oxygen into her lungs, she shook her head, the other hand raising to cover her mouth, trying to hold back a scream.
He was awake.
"Shika" It felt soft on the sand princess' tongue, as she slowly climbed into the bed, careful not to hurt the other, she felt a large hand on her hip, guiding her head to his chest, she breathed him in, it was the sweetest oxygen she had ever received. She let out a shaky breath, as she felt his calloused fingers against her soft delicate chin, raising it. She felt his lips slide over hers, her eyes closed as she let him take her away. Words could not do her emotions justice, as he pulled back, he let a gentle breath fan across her lips.
"I'm home Temari."
