So yeah in case you're wondering why I hardly update anymore, well it's because I'm busy preparing for some of the college entrance examinations so I'm terribly sorry to keep you guys waiting for such a long time :( hope you forgive me and still continue to support me.

I seriously owe you guys for waiting so here you go...

Chapter 9: The Winter Solstice Grand Ball.

One week later...

After the horrifying incident with Hans. Things around Arendelle were slightly different. While the police went on in their wild goose chase on where Hans or his guards could be. Even with all the new technology, effort, and time spent, there were still no traces found in pinpointing the convicts.

Other than Mr. Weaselton, the police haven't found any other people involve with the incident but that doesn't mean you and your friends lost hope in waiting forgiving justice to be serve.

Even your friend James and other classmates volunteered to help search for Hans or to call any authority if they found any trace.

But the bond you and Elsa had grew stronger that the two of you were nearly impossible to separate. Even Anna and Kristoff notice this growing relationship that gave them this motivation to tease you about it.

Beep! Beep! Beep! new mail!

The annoying sound of your ringtone awaken you from your slumber. You gave a large sigh before reaching out to your phone to read the message. You press the pass code on with your thumb and you scroll down the messages till you found a message that you eagerly waited for such a long time.

Hey son! how you doing?

I guess you're wondering why we haven't called you for the past few months by now? I am very sorry for that and hear me out please. A few days after we went back, there was some slight problems with the company. An incident happened that harshly affected our marketing stocks. We nearly lost half of our stock holders and some little businesses that we franchise but luckily for us, me and your mom manage to control everything before it got out of hand. So just wanted you to know that we wouldn't be able to visit you this December because our hectic schedule and because of the company's unstable state.

Me and your mom are very sorry and we wish to see you soon as we can.

As you finish your reading the message, you were so annoyed that after all this months of helplessly trying to connect with them they never even took the initiative to reply back.

A mix of emotion flow into you that confuses you a lot. That part of you wanted to try to understand them but another part of you just wanted to hate them.

Still mad and confuse you literally threw your phone on the ground, nearly breaking it. "Well damn that's just great!" you shouted.

You didn't notice that with all your anger. Your powers triggered, igniting your hands and burning the pillow place in your bed. The flame grew fast and already consumed half of your bed just by a second.

"oh god things just can't get any worse than this." you manage to say as you rush below your cabinet to grab a red fire extinguisher. You tried to pull the trigger but it was already jammed.

A thick layer of smoke covered the room, making it hard for you see, it also affected your breathing as you notice that you were starting to lose your breath.

The smoke went up hitting the smoke detector. It quickly alarmed and the sprinklers opened, extinguishing the fire in your bedroom. "I just spoke to soon."you say, giving a slight sigh of distress.

A loud knock echoed in the room. "(Y/N), (Y/N)! are you okay?" your guardian/butler said.

"I'm okay Albert just got carried a way with my powers." you sheepisly said.

"Oh okay (Y/N) you be careful next time!" he said, you then heard his footstep going down the staircase.

You then gave a sigh of relief "Well this is a very interesting way to start a day."

You pick up your phone hoping if it still works. In your surprise it was still fully functional but a there is a large crack at the eastern side of your phone and some slight scratch at the back but other than that It's still working alright.

"Glad your still alive!" you say, wiping the screen of your phone.

You slowly made your way through the large corridor of the school, finding your way to your locker. You swiftly move pass the river of student walking from all different directions.

As you continue to walk carefully, heads down trying to keep a low profile but still a few student manage to notice your presences and proceeded to gossip with one another.

You can't help yourself in accidentally hearing their whispers to one another as you walk.

"Hey check it out! that's the guy who beat up Hans and his gang!" A guy in a blue tank top whisper to his friend's ear. While his friend gave him a disbelief look.

"Is he really dating Elsa?" Another guy said?

"Omg I wish I also have my very own sexy knight in shining armor." A girl on the side giggles with her squad

"Well he is kinda cute." a girl in A cheerleader outfit utter.

You manage to get pass all the gossips and verbalize, passing through the last group of students. The view of your locker was no longer obstructed.

"Hey (Y/N)" a familiar voice said. A red-head approached and greeted you. "Good Morning"

"Good morning Anna!" you said, smiling at the red-head in front of you.

Anna then look at you with a large smirk "Sooo... are you going to ask Elsa out to ball?"

"Ball? what ball?" you say looking confuse.

"your serious? haven't you heard of the ball next week?" she said, looking disappointed.

But before you could answer you feel a large force drag you to the end of the hall way.

She push you to the bulletin board were loads of fliers, announcement and pictures are in the board. she then pointed a glossy flier pined at the center of the bulletin board.

"Winter solstice the grand ball" you read out of loud before turning back your attention to Anna giggling on the side.

"Anna I don't really like going out on a ball since I hardly even know how to dance." Feeling a little embarrass at the last part.

Her smile faded "But with all the incidents that happen recently I think you and Elsa needed some enjoyment. And this might be your chance to ask my sister out" She winks.

Your face turned red as you imagine yourself dancing with Elsa in the ball. "Umm maybe your right thanks for the advice Anna!"

"Any time! well good luck" she wave her hand and left you all alone in the bulletin board.

You stared back to the flier. "Grand ball -gulp- so this is also masquerade ball as well" You continued to read the description before heading back to class.

Back in Class you took the sit beside Elsa.

You listened to the discussion for a while but got distracted in your day dreams. You hardly could focus in the discussion as pictures of you and Elsa dancing came in to your imagination.

You took out a pencil from your backpack and teared a paper on the back of your notebook and began to write a letter for Elsa. You think for a while to find the right words to say but nothing came in to your minds. It took you a while but you manage to write the letter.

You fold the paper and was about to place it to Elsa's desk when the bell rang and she hurriedly said her good-bye and left.

"Well that's a downer." You said as you place the note in your side pocket. "Why is she such in a hurry?"

A familiar hand is place in your shoulder as you stand up. You look around to see your friend James grinning. "whats that in your pocket?"

Your cheeks turned red as you took out the note from your pocket. "Oh this? Its nothing." you sheepisly said.

James wasn't buying it so he quickly snatch the paper out of your hand and read it out loud. "Hey Elsa, I was wondering if you would like to go out with me..." but was stop as you shut his mouth with your hand.

"Quiet, someone might hear you." You look around to see if someone was watching before you look back to James who was laughing like a fool.

James stop laughing and raised his eye brow "So when are you planning to ask her?"

You look down "The thing is I'm not really sure how to ask her out to the dance yet?"

"What your kidding right? tell me your kidding."

"Well actually I'm not this time. I don't really have any experiences in asking girls out before."

James just laugh as he pats your shoulder. "Luckily for you I do."

He went back to his seat to take his backpack and guide you out of the empty room. "Well let's get started then."

In the cafeteria...

The scene inside the cafeteria was as usual as always. Students waiting in line to buy their lunch while different groups and type of student hanging out in different tables talking to one another.

"Well you need to find something very special for her." James continued as he gave you loads of advice on how to hit on girls.

You look amaze by his knowledge with women. "I never knew you were such a player" you said trying to tease him.

"Hey bud im just trying to help you here. No need to tease." he gave you a friendly punch in the shoulder.

Wanting to change the topic "So do you already have something in plan now?" he asked

You gave a small smirk "As a matter of fact! I do."

He gave you a knowing look before excusing himself out to meet someone important. "Well thanks again James."

"Any time (Y/N) well good luck. You'll need it" he close the door out of the cafeteria.

You look around to see that Elsa was no where to be seen. "Where is she?." you say as you made your way to Anna and Kristoff sitting in the corner.

"Hey Kristoff, Anna have you seen Elsa?"

"Elsa still at the library doing her research work. So did you ask her out yet"

Kristoff drop his spoon and eagerly waited for your answer

"Well not yet but its a good thing she's not here yet cause I had this perfect plan and I need both of you."

"Sure when do we start!" both Kristoff and Anna said in unison.

"Well we just did!"

Sorry if this chapter isnt that great but I'll try to add the next chapter next week or so. My entrance exam is fast approaching and I feel that I'm not that prepared for it so I'm so sorry if It took me a long time to update.
