I know what you are thinking. "What's the excuse this time?" Well one I couldn't help with, the other... It was guilty pleasure.

1. I am dealing with some dental problems which is causing me to go to the dentist for a while and that bugs me. But I am feeling a lot better than when it started.

2. I got The Witcher 3 and I have been playing a lot of that game... So Yeah.

Ryan had three out of four girls from Team RWBY. Though that he was proud of his accomplishment to change his past and the fate of the girls, he wouldn't be truly happy until he found Ruby and brought her home too. He sat in the room he and Yang shared with the other girls and waited for the Darkness to tell him Ruby's location. The Darkness has said nothing yet.

"It's getting late." Blake said while looking at the clock.

Ryan looked at the clock as well and it read 10:45pm.

"You are usually out and about by now." Yang mentioned.

"I know." Ryan said, "But I'm not getting anything. The Darkness isn't talking to me."

"I wouldn't trust that thing." Weiss told him, "Besides, you said that boy is out looking for Ruby too. What is his name? Romeo?"

Ryan nodded, "He cares for Ruby like I care for Yang."

"Poor Ruby." Weiss sarcastically said.

Ryan started pounding his head in frustration, "Why isn't it saying anything!?"

Yang quickly grabbed Ryan's wrist, "Ryan, stop! You aren't going to do anything by beating your brains out."

Ryan stopped, "You're right." He stood up, "I need to head out there and search."

"You're kidding." Weiss looked at him, "You have been out for three nights straight and spent the mornings taking care of us. You need to rest."

"No. I am fine." Ryan started to walk and his knees felt weak and he dropped to the floor.

Yang went to him and supported him with her shoulder, "I think Weiss is right for once."

"For once!?" Weiss sounded offended.

"Let's just rest for one night. We can start looking around in the morning." Yang hugged Ryan, "Okay?"

"But Ruby….." Ryan paused for a second, "….. She will be fine? And that is all you have to say!?"

The girls knew that he was yelling at the Darkness, but found it bothersome that they couldn't see it or hear it. Yang started to tug Ryan's arm to get him to follow her.

"Come on. You need your rest too." Yang led Ryan into the bedroom.

"But that about Ruby?" Ryan asked, "She is your sister."

"I know that. And I am very worried about my sister, but I don't want to lose either of you." Yang hugged Ryan, "Besides, Romeo is still out looking for her right?"

"Yeah….." Ryan tried to think, "But….."

"No buts." Yang told him, "Let's leave it up to him. He may come through the door any minute now with Ruby."

It was true that Romeo was out looking for Ruby. A smile went across the boy's face when he finally found her. Roman Torchwick took Ruby to another hideout he had after his escape from Ryan and the Darkness.

"Doesn't this guy ever go someplace other than warehouses?" Romeo asked himself.

Roman had once again hid himself in yet another warehouse filled with who knows how much weapons and Dust that could keep Romeo back, but Romeo was not going to back down. He was going to rescue his friend tonight. Romeo drew his swords and walked on the property. As he walked around his mind kept flashing back to his days back in Beacon with Ruby.

"So….." Romeo laid down on the grass next to Ruby, "Your sister seems to be happy with her relationship."

"She is." Ruby smiled, "Those two do everything together."

"It sure seems that way. They hold hands all the time. Even during class if they sit next to each other." Romeo said.

"Yeah. They even go out a lot and do things in town." Ruby continued.

"Sounds like a lot of fun." Romeo looked at Ruby, "Do you have a boy you are interested in?"

Ruby turned a bit red when he asked that question, "Well…."

"Sorry." Romeo quickly apologized, "It was a too personal question."

"No, it's okay." Ruby smiled, "Do you have a girl you like?"

"Not that I can think of." Romeo lied.

"Well the boy I like is strong of course." Ruby started, "He is even handsome with his blue hair and awesome eyes."

"I see…" Romeo paused, "Well whoever he is, I hope you gain the courage to ask him out one day."

Ruby rolled her eyes, "Sure." She smiled at Romeo's obliviousness.

The bell at Beacon started to chime which signaled the students that class will be starting soon.

"Well, we got class to do again." Ruby said.

"Yeah. We have to do it unfortunately." Romeo stood up and held his hand out, "Walk you to class?"

Ruby smiled and took his hand, "Thank you, Romeo."

Romeo snapped out of his little flashback and saw that he was getting close to some grunts guarding the area, most likely paid by Torchwick. He used his semblance to teleport behind the grunts and he spun around like a tornado and sliced their heads off. Lights came on and moved towards Romeo. The doors to the warehouses opened and more grunts came out to fight. While they went out, a loudspeaker activated.

"Well hello there, pretty boy." Torchwick's smug voice sounded through the loudspeakers, "Now what is a little brat like you doing out in a place like this?"

"I don't have to answer you, asshole." Romeo cursed.

"Oh come now. Must you act this way?" Torchwick said, "You came onto my property and killed some of my hired help. How am I in the wrong?"

"You took my friend." Romeo told him.

"I'm afraid you have to be more specific. I am in the criminal business after all." Torchwick spoke.

"You know who I am talking about!" Romeo raged, "Ruby Rose! A girl with silver eyes and a red cape!"

"Red?" Torchwick realized who Romeo meant, "Sorry, pretty boy. But I got special plans for her."

"Bring her to me now….." Romeo readied his swords, "And your death will be painless."

"Sorry. I am not going to give a major thorn in my side to a random kid off the streets." Torchwick stated.

"You know who I am. My nickname is The Blue Flash." Romeo told him.

Torchwick was silent for a while, "I see….. Everyone… Take him out!"

The grunts rush towards Romeo, but they proved no match for him. His speed and agility combined with is sword skills and gunplay allowed Romeo to take out his opponents with ease. This was rather unsettling for Romeo.

'This is too easy.' Romeo thought, 'Something is around the corner. But what?'

Romeo continued fighting the grunts moving towards him. As the fighting went on, the ground started to rumble. The ground opened up and revealed an underground hangar that was underneath Romeo's feet. Romeo jumped out of the way and waited for the hangar to rise and reveal whatever may be coming out. When the hangar reached ground level, it revealed a mech that resembles a spider due to its multiple legs. The two arm cannons it had would definitely cause some damage if it hits its target. The head of the droid flipped back and showed that it was a piloted version so that means it was custom made.

"Do you like it, pretty boy?" Torchwick walked in front of the droid, "Had this thing stolen and made to my specifications. I must say, it was worth all the time and effort."

"You'll think differently once I turn that thing into scrap." Romeo glared.

"If, and that is a big if, you are able to beat me." Torchwick jumped into the bot and activated it, "But I highly doubt that."

Romeo activated the Dust in his blades and they coursed with energy. He walked slowly towards the bot that Torchwick was controlling, "I am going to kill you."

"Not if you are moving that slowly." Torchwick used the bot's two arm cannons and fired at the blue haired boy.

Romeo then activated his semblance to speed up and dodge all the shots that were being fired at him. He took his swords and slashed at the legs and jumped to slash at the torso. The Spider Droid moved around and tried to smack Romeo with its arms, but Romeo proved to be too fast for the bot. The two arm cannons merged together and formed one cannon. It charged up and fired once again at Romeo. Romeo dodged the shot, but the force from the blast managed to knock him off his feet.

"All it takes is one little mistake." Torchwick said as he charged the Spider Droid's cannon again.

"You got that right." Romeo used his semblance to speed towards the cannon and he sliced it in two.

"What!?" Torchwick was surprised.

"Your mistake was messing with me and my Rose!" Romeo changed his swords into guns and started firing at the cockpit.

Some of the bullets passed through the armor and hit Torchwick in various places. Torchwick used the bot's missile launchers as a last resort to get rid of the Blue Flash. Romeo used his semblance once again to get into the air and used a combination of sword and gun techniques to destroy the missiles flying towards him. He grabbed one last missile with his hands and threw it back at the Spider Droid, destroying it. Romeo dropped back to the ground and walked towards the destroyed remains of the Spider Droid and saw Torchwick crawling away from the wreckage.

"Where are you going?" Romeo stomped on Torchwick's ankle and broke it.

"AH!" Torchwick rolled on the ground in pain, "Alright! I give up!"

"You got that right." Romeo kicked Torchwick at the side of his chest and broke a few ribs.

"OW! Just take the girl and go! I'm done!" Torchwick yelled out.

"You're done when I say you are done." Romeo grabbed Torchwick's arm and snapped it in two.

Torchwick could only scream and writhe in pain.

"Tell me the names of the people you killed." Romeo ordered.

"Why do you care?" Torchwick asked.

"Tell me." Romeo broke one of Torchwick's fingers.

"AH! What makes you think I would care to ask their names!?" Torchwick yelled out.

"Start talking before I run out of bones to break." Romeo broke Torchwick's pinky finger.

The next few minutes, Torchwick started naming the different names he has killed either by his own hands or through hired help. Whenever he started to go silent, Romeo broke another bone and Torchwick started naming the names again. Rome had decided that enough was enough and he drew his sword again.

"We are going to play a little game now." Romeo said while looking at his blade.

"What are you talking about?" Torchwick asked.

"I have already broken a lot of your bones now…" Romeo pointed his sword at Torchwick, "Now let's see how many slashes you can survive!"

Romeo slashed at Torchwick's body without mercy. Every drop of rage that he had fueled his strength. He was having his revenge on the man who stole and planned to hurt his rose. Romeo counted the slashes he inflicted on his enemy and he eventually stopped at one hundred and three slashes. He exhaled deeply and sheathed his sword, then he went searching through the area for Ruby. He could still sense her Aura so he knew she was alive and nearby. Romeo opened the door to a small office like room and he saw Ruby in a chair.

"Ruby!" Romeo ran towards Ruby and started to untie her.

"Romeo?" Ruby smiled, "You came for me."

"Of course I did." Romeo threw the rope away, "You are my friend."

Ruby jumped out of the chair and threw her arms around Romeo in a hug, "I really missed you! I was so scared!"

"It's okay now, Ruby. You are safe." Romeo returned the hug, "But let's get you out of here."

Ruby nodded, "Okay. Let's go."

Romeo led Ruby out the back way so she wouldn't have to see all the dead bodies. They made it back into town and decided to stop in a hotel for the night. After going out and getting some food from the nearby fast food restaurant, the two have settled down in their hotel room. Romeo pulled something out of his coat pocket and looked at it.

"Uh…. Ruby?" Romeo held out what looked like a pouch of crumbs.

"Yes?" Ruby looked at Romeo and the pouch.

"I….. I actually got you some cookies before I found you… But they turned into crumbs in the fighting." Romeo looked at Ruby, "But I hope…." He looked and saw the pouch of cookie crumbs were missing.

Ruby opened up the pouch and put a few crumbs in her mouth and chewed, "These taste good. Thank you, Romeo."

Romeo smiled, "You're welcome, Ruby." He stood up from his chair and stretched, "I think I am going to get some sleep."

"Can I join you?" Ruby asked.

"Uh…. There are two beds in this room." Romeo pointed out.

"I know." Ruby blushed, "But… I want to know what it is like with Yang and Ryan."

"Then you should wait until you find a guy that you like." Romeo said.

"But I like you, Romeo." Ruby told him.

Romeo looked away, "You can do a lot better than me…."

Ruby got up and hugged Romeo, "But I want to be with you."

"But….." Romeo tried to speak.

Ruby stopped him by kissing him on the lips. Romeo seemed conflicted for a few seconds, but he eventually broke down and kissed Ruby back.

"Okay….. We can share a bed." Romeo said.

"Thanks." Ruby smiled.

"But we are keeping our clothes on." Romeo told her.

"Of course." Ruby agreed.

The two said their good nights and laid down in their bed to sleep.

Ryan along with Yang, Weiss, and Blake went out the next morning to look for Ruby. They went to the middle of city where they explained their plan.

"So we all spread out in four directions and start looking." Weiss said, "And we call if we find her, got it?"

"Got it." Blake nodded.

"Okay." Ryan agreed.

"Did you get that, Yang?" Weiss asked.

Everyone looked and saw that Yang was running away. But she was only running away because she had found Ruby walking the streets with Romeo.

"Ruby!" Yang wrapped her sister in a hug.

"Hey, Yang." Ruby hugged her sister back.

"I was so worried about you." Yang said, "But I am glad you are okay."

The rest of the group soon joined in at greeting Ruby and Romeo.

"And we didn't forget to bring you this." Blake handed Crescent Rose back to its owner.

"Yes!" Ruby took back her precious weapon and cradled it like a baby, "Thanks, everyone. You are the best."

"And thanks for keeping an eye out for her, Romeo." Ryan shook hands with the blue haired boy.

"A promise is a promise." Romeo smiled, "And she is my friend too."

"So we got the whole family back together." Yang said proudly, "So now we can head home."

"Yes." Weiss nodded, "We have missed too much school work already."

"No…" Ryan said.

"No?" Ruby looked confused.

"Something is still up. I got to find out what it is." Ryan told them.

"You already dealt with their captors." Romeo mentioned, "What else is there to do?"

"I don't know….." Ryan tried to think, "I got the feeling that this was all about me for some reason."

"You are right to trust your guts." A voice from behind said.

The group turned around to see a familiar man dressed in all black with long black hair.

"Hi, Jackie." Ryan greeted.

"Hey, kiddo." Jackie waved, "Glad to see you and your friends are okay."

"Yeah…. But you didn't come here for small talk." Ryan said.

Jackie nodded, "You're right. We need to talk." He looked at the group, "All of us."

If any of you are wondering, the Spider Droid that was in the fight scene looks like the one seen in Blake's trailer. Just to give you a good mental image.

Until next time, guys.
