Wally and Zatanna were the party planners, there were a couple important details that needed to be ironed out. When planning a party for members of the Justice League it was kind of important that someone be there to defend if there was any sort of attack or disaster.

"The parties have to be on separate days, because we're going off planet." Zatanna announced.

"Fair enough, so we keep watch that night. You keep watch while we're at ours." Wally stated.

"Of course, you take Friday night, we need Saturday."

"Alright." Wally shrugged, it made little difference. "What do you have planned?"

"Wouldn't you like to know." Zee teased.

"Oh, it's like that."

"It is most certainly like that."

"Cool." Wally kept his face neutral as if he didn't care, despite being curious. "Anything else?"

"No I don't think so. I'll call you if something changes."

"Sounds good."

A week later, plans were made and set in motion. Clark was sitting nervously at his desk, just waiting for 5:00 to roll around. Once he left work today it was on, the guys were going to pick him up for his bachelor party, an event which they took great care to make sure he didn't know what they had planned. Not even his enhanced vision or hearing could pick up a single detail. Neither verbal or written. He had nothing.

"So what are you more worried about, the bachelor party or the wedding?" Lois asked when they had a reasonable amount of privacy. Since the guys at work were led to believe he wasn't having a bachelor party.

"The party. I know what I'm getting into with the marriage." I've basically been all in for the last 2 years.

"What about Diana's party?"

"I'm not exactly nervous, I trust her not to do anything crazy. It's just how far out of town they're going." Clark said cryptically hoping Lois would get the hint.

"Out of town as in…" Lois pointed upwards to silently signal to another planet.

"Yes. I just wish I knew where they were going, just to get an idea of what type of shenanigans they might get into."

Now Lois knew officially why she hadn't been invited. It was a league only thing, which made sense given none of them would be attending the wedding.

And Jimmy wouldn't be a problem either as he had booked a photoshoot with a rather popular Instagram model in the morning. So a bachelor party the night before wouldn't be such a good idea.

"All I can say is… enjoy." Lois said.

"I'll try."

At 4:55 Clark got a text from Bruce. "A car will be waiting for you outside."

Clark gathered his things and promptly left the office at 5:00 as he usually did. Upon exiting the building he found Alfred standing next to the car waiting for him. "Hello Master Kent."

"Hello Alfred." Clark greeted as the older man opened the rear car door for him.

Clark climbed in and waited for Alfred to get into the driver's seat. "So what do you have planned this evening?"

"Your bachelor party." He answered.

"Bruce really asked you to work?"

"Of course not, I'm a guest. Master Bruce thought you would appreciate that."

"Oh good."

"I doubt that I'll stay late into the evening. Stag parties were never my forte."

"Fair enough." Clark said. He wondered what they had planned, it was rather early.

Alfred drove them to what Clark knew only as an empty warehouse. As they pulled up to the loading dock a door opened and Alfred pulled in. Clark saw that the guys were all waiting including Jor, all dressed casually.

Clark and Alfred exited the vehicle and Hal immediately stepped forward.

"Now that everyone is here let's get going. Everyone enter the aircraft single file." As he spoke Hal created an airplane with his ring, just large enough for everyone to ride comfortably. "Please keep your hands and feet inside the vehicle at all times. Even though half of you wouldn't be injured if you did so, it throws off the aerodynamics."

Everyone climbed in, and Hal took off flying quickly so they wouldn't be seen. Hal took them to Oklahoma. What was normally a 3 hour flight, took them just a few minutes.

They finished their flight in what was an abandoned factory. Everyone walked around as Hal deconstructed his plane, most were unsure where they were going. Those in the know were Bruce, Hal, Wally and at least on this step Alfred.

"Where are we?" John Henry Irons asked.

"Oklahoma." Clark answered.

"What could we be doing here?" John Henry questioned.

"I don't know." Clark shrugged.

"This way gentleman." Alfred called, as he walked towards what looked like a large party bus. Everyone followed as Alfred opened the door and climbed into the driver's seat, followed by everyone else.

After a 20 minute drive the bus stopped at a stadium on a university campus. Clark could already see and hear what was going on inside.

"Seriously guys? Seriously? The rodeo?" Clark exclaimed.

"We figured you'd appreciate going back to your roots. Besides this is just the pregame." Wally told him, slapping him on the back as he did.

Everyone filed inside and found their seats. Jor who sat next to Clark leaned over and asked. "Kal, what exactly is the rodeo?"

"It's a series of events mimicking some of the jobs that were done on cattle ranches and things like that many years ago. The Kents used to take me when I was a kid, I used to love it. I wouldn't pick this for a bachelor party but this is kind of cool."

Most of the guys were bored. Wally knew going in that was going to be the case, but he needed to kill some time before the real party began. Luckily Clark seemed to be enjoying the events.

Because he had grown up around it, he saw the intricacies and little things about cattle roping or barrel racing that the others didn't. All they saw were well trained horses and fancy hats.

At one point Hal came over and asked Clark some questions.

"Could you do this?"

"Are you kidding? Yeah man. While most kids wanted to be astronauts when they grew up. I wanted to do this."

There was a break in the action while they changed events. Instead of the clowns coming out to do silly things that only would entertain a small child a woman came out and twirled a lasso. She hopped and skipped around it.

Hal was instantly taken. Not with the lasso twirling but the woman herself. A curvy blonde in tight jeans and cowboy boots.

Clark saw the look in Hal's eye. "You know a rope construct would be easy. You could practice your twirling, maybe you could impress her that way.

Hal frowned at Clark. "Real funny."

They stayed at the rodeo for another little while. And more people enjoyed the show than expected. Wally didn't really get to watch the events as he spent most of the time trying to convince Victor to join them later. Insisting that he wouldn't struggle to blend in. He also insisted that Victor speak in code so that Clark wouldn't figure out what they were doing.

After the event cleared out the guys piled back into the party bus where they took a drive across campus to the football stadium which was currently empty. However they were allowed in and were escorted to the home locker room. While the rodeo was interesting enough, the arena smelled like animals, and wasn't a good move for their later activities. They needed to shower.

"Ok fellas." Wally addressed them. "We got two hours to get ready for the real party."

"What is the real party?" Clark asked.

"Don't worry about it." Hal quickly interjected. "In the meantime get showered and changed."

The guys split up some heading to the visiting locker room for their showers. There were 13 of them in total, between 2 college football locker room showers they had more than enough room for privacy and plenty of time.

"Don't worry I've got a suit for you." Bruce mentioned.

Clark watched as everyone casually went their separate ways, clearly they all knew what they were doing. Clark wasn't used to being out of the loop on anything. And it was beginning to annoy him that he couldn't figure out what was going on. In fact he could hear Hal trolling him from the other side of the room about how clueless he was.

For the next little while Clark continued to live in ignorance of the next activity, the only clue was that everyone was putting on tailored suits. Including him, Bruce provided him with a high end black 2 button with a black shirt and even a watch that probably was worth triple his annual salary at the Planet.

With everyone changed they returned to the warehouse on the bus, where Hal once again constructed a plane.

"Ok seriously. How did you get a perfectly tailored suit for me?" Clark asked.

"I have my sources." Bruce said before admitting the truth. "Diana."

"Right." Even Clark was a little surprised at the spot on measurements. While she was obviously intimately familiar with his body he didn't think she measured him.

He intentionally wore his suits oversized, mostly so no one realized that Clark Kent looked like a bodybuilder. Even his wedding tux was a bit large on him. He looked like a guy trying to hide a beer gut with the cut of his suits. She must've taken the measurements from one of his current suits and sized them down more or less perfectly.

The plane landed, in yet another empty warehouse. Where there was yet another party bus waiting for them when they arrived. This time however they were near Miami beach.

"Fellas, tonight is for Clark." Hal addressed the group. "Our brother is crossing over to the other side, so tonight we're giving him the chance to live it up one last time."

"I'm not dying." Clark interjected.

"Yes you are!" Wally quickly threw in as a joke. Garnering a laugh from nearly everyone.

"Anyway." Hal continued. "Just play it cool, relax. We don't have to hold onto every secret we have tonight, because thanks to J'onn no one outside this room is going to remember any details about us or anything we do or say tonight. The 'people' we encounter tonight are going to remember a group of guys having a bachelor party but that's about it. They won't remember our names, or our faces or anything we said. Just that people existed somewhere hired them, and paid them handsomely. Have I properly summed it up J'onn?"

"More or less." J'onn answered.

"So, let's have some fun!" Hal finished, before leaving the warehouse towards the bus.

Clark immediately noticed that Alfred was no longer with them. The bus driver was a young man who'd been hired for the night. As they piled on the bus he didn't seem to notice anyone that was climbing aboard, not Bruce Wayne or Oliver Queen he was just focused on his job. Apparently J'onn was keeping it that way.

"Are we going to a strip club?" Clark finally asked.

"Don't worry about it." John Stewart spoke up, before anyone else could.

It was really annoying Clark now that he truly didn't know what they had planned.

Music played and jokes were exchanged, during the drive. Until they pulled up to a luxury high rise hotel. Before Clark could get a good look inside, Wally zoomed over to him and blindfolded him.

"This isn't lead. What the hell?" Clark exclaimed. He couldn't see through it despite trying.

"Magic. Compliments of your fiance." Wally explained. "Are you cool? Or do I have to tie up your hands too? I have the capability."

Clark groaned in annoyance. "Yeah I'm cool."

Clark allowed them to guide him into the hotel to the elevator where they travelled all the way up to the top level.

Wally ripped the blindfold off showing him the room.

"Oh come on." Clark threw his arms up.

"It's a bachelor party. Calm down." Hal told him.

They were in a large reception room that took up virtually the entire top level of the hotel. Half of each wall was entirely glass panels so they could get a view of the water outside. The place was decorated like a casino and bar. With a number of game tables already set up.

There was Poker, Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, Craps and a few others. As well as a few tables with chess boards set up and in one corner there were a number of TV screens set up with video game systems hooked up. As well as a fully stocked bar.

None of that Clark had any issue with. It was the people working the tables as dealers, bartenders and such even the DJ. They were all women, and they were wearing next to nothing. All had skirts or shorts, but no top.

"I don't know why I'm surprised by this." Clark finally said.

"Stop being so uptight, have a little fun." Hal told him.

Clark wasn't really the type to play traditional casino games. So instead he and Michael Holt got a deck of cards and started a game of spades.

Arthur quickly jumped in the game as Michael's partner. While the woman who was hired to be the dealer at the blackjack table sat down across from Clark. She dealt the cards. And Arthur who was in line to go first threw down a Heart.

"So tell me, do you recognize me?" She asked Clark.

"I don't." He answered. Throwing out a higher card than Arthur, while noticing that he couldn't see through them. Not that he was inclined to cheat, he was just curious. Probably Zatanna dealt with that.

"That's what they all say." She said with a chuckle. "Be honest."

Before Clark could respond, Michael emphatically slapped an Ace down to beat Clark's card, "I'll take that."

"I am being honest. Where might I recognize you from? I don't live around here so..." Clark assumed she was a stripper who worked locally. She was pretty, but wearing heavy makeup.

She threw down a low heart, letting Michael take the book. "My name is Ellia Staxxx, with 3 x's."

Suddenly Clark understood. While he still didn't recognize her, he was well aware what xxx meant. She was an adult film performer.

"Ah, I see." Clark threw a card then looked to Arthur and Michael. "Is that everyone here's situation too?"

"Yep." Michael answered. "Blame Hal."

"That figures." Clark scoffed.

"Do you recognize anyone here?" She asked.

Clark swept the room. "Uh no. Like everyone I dabbled in that sort of entertainment when I was younger, but I doubt I would know anyone current."

"Right." Ellia still didn't seem to believe him. "I realize you're about to get married, and I'm sure your wife will take care of a big handsome man like you but you still need entertainment. That's where I come in."

"Okay?"

"So this is what you do. After your honeymoon phase is over, and she's not jumping on you whenever you ask. Pull up one of my videos, and watch it with her."

"I'll keep that in mind." Clark said.

He wasn't actually going to though. While Diana was in favor of healthy sexual expression, she didn't like pornography at all. She couldn't stand the industry that she felt preyed upon young women who far too frequently came from traumatic pasts.

After Michael once again emphatically threw down his card. This time a fairly low card, looking for Arthur to win the book this time.

"Are you going to do that every time?" Arthur asked.

"What? Throw the card down like that? Yes. Yes I am. This is how I play spades, been doing this since high school." Michael then looked towards the door behind Clark. "Hey he showed up!"

Clark turned towards the door and saw that Victor had just arrived. He was wearing jeans and a sportcoat over his exoskeleton with a hooded jacket over that.

Wally and J'onn met him at the door. Assuring him that none of the women working would notice that half his face was metal, nor would they remember it anyway. Clark recalled Wally spent much of the rodeo trying to convince Victor to come. While J'onn was an immensely powerful telepath, Clark still understood Victor's hesitation. However seconds later Victor took his hoodie off, showing his full face. Not Ellia, nor any of the other women seemed to notice. Clearly J'onn had this.

The night progressed rather well, in spite of some awkwardness. Several more of the women asked Clark if he recognized them. Each time he politely replied that he didn't, and each time they thought he was lying. It was what it was he supposed. At the very least, they won't remember their conversations in the morning.

A few things were learned that day, Victor is nigh unbeatable at both Xbox and Playstation. Jor-El is quite adept at counting cards, and he's getting the hang of his x ray vision. At one point he pulled Clark to the side.

"Kal, I'm detecting foreign substances inside many of these women."

"Breast implants, it's a thing." Clark hoped he wouldn't ask for more detail. And he definitely hoped he wouldn't mention Lara at all.

"They're for cosmetic purposes?" Jor asked.

"Yes."

"I see. Well one in particular seems to be different than the others."

"Different? What?"

"The one with the dark hair, at the table just to our left."

Clark looked and saw Ellia, dealing at the baccarat table. Clark didn't have to look very hard to see that Ellia had larger implants than everyone else but with a slight dilation of his eyes Clark looked a little closer. And he saw that each one was different, one had a rupture.

As a news reporter who has researched a great many things, along with ears that can hear just about anything,Clark knew a few things. He knew that ruptured implants weren't very good for the health. He could see that her natural defense system was already working to rid itself of the foreign object. Probably Jor could too.

"If they're purely for cosmetic reasons, I could easily come up with an organic solution." Jor said.

"Organic?"

"Yes, they could be grown using the cells from one own body to create the implant. I could also repair the scarring that is left."

"Right, put it on the list." Clark suggested, wanting to end this conversation right away. "Excuse me a moment."

Clark approached J'onn who was stepping away from the bar with a drink in his hand. "J'onn, do me a favor. Ellia Staxxx, the dealer at the baccarat table, can you give her a hint have her make an appointment with her surgeon? She's going to have some problems if she doesn't."

"Sure." J'onn answered, not quite knowing what Clark was talking about. And getting a sense from Clark that he didn't want to talk about it. But he obliged anyway.

Luckily for Clark, things didn't get any more awkward than that. No one pressured him to get a lapdance or anything. Despite being more extra than he would've been, it wasn't too bad. He joined in a few more games, won some chips, lost some chips. Jumped on the sticks to play some video games and got his butt whipped. He relaxed and enjoyed some time having fun with people he's usually prepared to go to war with.

Overall a good night.

He returned home late, to an empty apartment. Which meant Diana was probably still on the watch tower. To which he was kind of glad. That way he didn't have to answer any awkward questions. It wasn't as if he had anything to hide, but it was a relief knowing he could just shower and go to bed.
