"Good. And 'home-base'?"

"Well I've got to call you something else besides Fe…"

"Don't say the name if you've already established that I need an alias."

"Fine, home-base."

"I don't like it."

"Like what?"

"The name. Doesn't sound good enough. Not enough oomph. No one's going to be scared of the mighty 'Home-base.'"

"And you want them to fear you?"

"Don't laugh at me! Maybe…maybe I want them to fear me a bit. Less challengers to the throne."

"The throne?"

"Yes, the throne."

"The Home-base throne?"

"Don't call it that! But yes. The throne. Don't want anyone replacing me."

"No one would ever be able to replace you. You know it."

"Ohhh dishing out compliments now are we?"

"You were fishing."

"No I wasn't…"

"Fee?"

"Well maybe a little. And what's this with Fee?"

"Trying something else since you don't like home-base. Do you like it?"

"Ehhh it's alright for a nickname. Not official name. Fee doesn't have enough oomph to get you going?"

"Get you going?"

"I didn't mean it like that and you know it."

"Sureeeeee."

"Guys? You do know that we're still on comms right?"

"Yeah…ummmm…sorry Canary. Did you get everything set up on your end?"

"Yeah. Everything's ready for the heist tomorrow. They'll never know what hit them. And she's right Arrow. Needs a name with some oomph. Black Canary out."

"See? Even she agrees. Black Canary is a pretty good name. Mysterious."

"Ok, we'll make a list when I get back to the foundry. Promise."

"Ok. See you in a bit. Love you."

"Fee?"

"Oh my god. No…I mean…that was an…an accident. You know how when you hang up on your mom or someone you care about and you just say I love you at the end. It's just automatic. Just comes out. I'm sorry I didn't…oh my god. I know we've only been at it for a couple months and I don't want to put any pressure on you. One, two, three, four, five….I'll see you when you get back. If I don't die of mortification first and…"

"I love you too."

"What…really?"

"Yes."

"Oh."

"Give me five minutes."

"Five minutes?"

"Till I get back and I can tell you face to face."

"Ok. I'll see you when you get back."

"In 5."

"In 5."

"You know…if me telling you that I loved you would get you to stop babbling I would have done it sooner."

"What?! Liar. You love my babbling. You've assured me of that many nights."

"That I did."

"So…see you when you get here?"

"Yes. See you in 5. Love you."
