"Umm..."

Kuroko Tetsuya stood there, confused, and his head tilted to show that he really is. His eyebrows narrowed and cerulean orbs almost expressed some question marks.

"What are you all doing here early in the morning?"

Six rainbow figures stood at the front door of his room; two of them seemed to argue, one looks like he has puppy ears complete with a tail wagging at the sight of the light bluenette, one munched on snacks while staring fixedly at him, and the other two seemed normal than the latter.

Yup, it's the usual gang. Woe is him.

"Tetsuya."

"Tetsu!"

"Kurokocchi!"

"Kuroko!"

"Kurochin~"

In unison. In unison.

How do they even do that? Akashi smiled and walked forward to open the door. Kuroko stumbled back a little and when he found his balance; he can see the others going in his house without his permission.

Rude.He turned back and wanted to scold them about their rudeness but his instincts told himself that suspicion will only raise if he did so. Kuroko just sighed and closed the door slowly, then walked back to his living room... err... bedroom.

They just chattered among themselves to either insult or compliment Kuroko's room and ignored the owner. Kuroko coughed a bit to try and gather the attention, but he was blatantly ignored and unnoticed once again. Something glowed in the light bluenette's eyes and he slammed his hands on the table. All the colorful orbs in the room turned to look at him.

'Well... That gathered their attention."

Kuroko, unamused, coughed again and glared at all of them. "What are you guys doing here early in the morning?" He repeated the same question and all seemed to tilt their heads.

"We're obviously visiting you Tetsuya." Akashi started and all of them nodded.

"We just want to visit you Kurokocchi!"

"It's just a visit Tetsu."

"I have to admit, I predicted a big house. But it looks like Oha-Asa isn't with me by that."

"I bought you snacks Kurochin~"

"They were suspiciously sneaking around so I followed them and they lead me here."

The light bluenette almost wanted to facepalm and groan at them. Damn the prodigies' sarcasm, especially Akashi. Kuroko sighed and sat down on one of the vacant chairs, "So are you all here to discuss about the new mission or are you just here to hang out?"

Akashi stood up from his seat and took small strides in Kuroko's direction. His gaze intimidated everyone except Kuroko as he neared the latter, stopping in front of the light bluenette and leaning a little too close. Kuroko leaned away, but the back of the chair limited him from doing so. Akashi leaned a little bit more closer; Kagami was about to blurt something out when Akashi made both Kuroko and Kagami freeze.

"I just wanted to discuss something about affairs and secrecy that's quite related to the mission." The heterochromatic redhead said a bit too innocently, that innocence that had the prodigies' spines shiver. Kuroko's face remained passive despite the closeness and the dangerous tone of the redhead's voice.

"And?" Those cerulean orbs narrowed, showing a ticked off expression. Akashi's own eyes narrowed at the response, then replaced with an amused one. "About Chihiro." The redhead said, leaning back and looking past his own shoulder to glance at Midorima.

The cerulean gaze turned to the greenhead and said carrot looked down and pushed back his glasses. "We were thinking about taking him in our side, or rather, let him be our accomplice."

All eyes widened, except Midorima himself and Akashi. Kuroko gathered himself and returned back to his passive expression, his eyes brows knotting in the middle in obvious confusion. "What are you on about, Akashi-kun..?"

Akashi looked back at Kuroko, quite offended by that. "What do you mean Tetsuya? Wouldn't you want to team up with him?" Kuroko's expression didn't change, if possible, he became more ticked off.

"I'll rephrase. What are you planning Akash-"

"Isn't he your dearest brother?" The redhead rudely interrupted.

Kuroko gripped one of the armchairs, hard, trying to decipher on what he said and each second, widened at the realization. He opened his mouth to speak, but closed it after, not really knowing what to say to that.

The other's reactions were not much different, all surprised. Kise spoke up first, laughing in time with his tone, "K-Kurokocchi...hahaha. That's not true right? It's impossible right?" Kagami looked like he was about to attack in any moment now. Midorima just remained blunt to everything, Murasakibara and Aomine just held a silent surprise.

Kagami closed his eyes and sighed loud, not really liking the silence of the cerulean boy. "Kuroko. You don't have to do this."

"It's true." Kuroko breathed out with a tremble. The confession seeming a little bit rare in his part. Kagami turned a confused look at him. But that look wasn't compared to the prodigies' calculating, burning, and accusing stares.

The aura tensed in every second, making Kuroko tremble a little. He felt like the little baby deer that's cornered by a pack of wolves. Aomine stepped forward then sprinted at Kuroko, grabbing hold of the collar of his top. The light bluenette gasped at the strong intrusion. "It's you...isn't it? You're the phantom thief right, Tetsu?"

Kuroko looked up slowly and the expression on Aomine's features pricked his heart. It's an expression of deep betrayal. He felt guilty, weak, and villainous in their hands. His pale lips opened to speak out incoherent words of excuse, but then closed, fearing that speaking out would make hints worst.

Kagami stayed rooted to his place, not wanting to intrude. But the big redhead grabbed hold of the handle of his gun in case they try to hurt his friend much further. Kuroko sent him a sad look, apology present and all.

"Daiki, let him go."

Aomine growled deep and threw Kuroko on the wall after the captain's order. The cerulean boy touched his own neck to soothe the grip that will leave a bruise. Aomine stepped back while Akashi stepped forward, getting closer to Kuroko.

...

'Bang!'

Akashi's eyes widened when a sharp and burning pain suddenly appeared in his side. He whipped his head to the direction of the sound and saw Kagami running for the door and Kuroko slipping from his place on the wall. "Atsushi!" Akashi shouted.

The way to the door was suddenly blocked by the giant prodigy and Kagami was grabbed by rather large hands, his pistol was slapped away and he has no weapon present to attack. Kuroko was about to whip out his own pistol when a large force and thing hit his back rather harshly.

He grunted and fell down the floor with the force still pushing him against it, avoiding the wild squirming. Kuroko turned his head and saw Kise stepping on him, a hesitant little wolf dawned his features.

He reached for the pistol, but Aomine kicked it away and stepped on his hand with a large force too. Midorima whipped out his pistol and directed the nozzle in the middle of Kuroko's head.

"Kuroko!" Kagami shouted, thrashing around until another pistol was directed at his temple, the cool metal touching his tensed skin.

Akashi looked around while covering his wounded arm with a white cloth, the blood seeping out slowly. He slowly glared at Kagami, "You should've known better than shoot me." Kagami returned the glare and directed his gaze at the floor.

"And as for you..." Akashi returned to kneeling down next to Kuroko, he removed his hand from his wound and caressed the pale cheek soothingly, "You're going to have to explain every bit of information that you know..." He pulled back his hand, not caring if his own blood stained that pearly skin. Akashi dragged a finger from Kuroko's ear to his chin, leaving a bloody trail.

Akashi violently grabbed his chin and forcefully pulled it up to face him, wide cerulean orbs stared at him with slight fear and slight resistance. "Now... Let's start with the phantom thief."

Kuroko closed his eyes and slumped his head in defeat, "I... don't have anything to do with that."

Akashi narrowed his eyes and smirked, "Really now?" His grip on the chin was much tighter and his other hand grabbed a fistful of the cerulean hair, pulling it back hard. Kuroko let out a voiceless scream and tears threatened to spill because of the impact and pain.

"Kuroko!" Kagami shouted, thrashing around again, not caring for the cold metal on his temple. Murasakibara tightened his grip on the redhead's arm and cocked the gun once, the bullet clicking in place. Kagami ignored that and thrashed some more. "K-Kagami-kun!" Kuroko grunted out in an unusual high-pitched voice.

The desperate and scared tone made Kagami more wilder and finally managed to release one arm and grab a gun that was at his side. Kise and Aomine pointed a gun at Kuroko's head while Midorima raised his gun from Kuroko's temple to Kagami's chest.

'Bang!'

A loud deafening sound echoed in the room and all cowboys looked around to see who got shot. Murasakibara's eyes widened and he fell down on the ground clutching his leg. Red pooled on the wooden floors and the violet giant growled at the pain, he ignored his plastic bag full of snacks and his own gun.

Kise acted first and removed his leg from Kuroko's spine, running at his injured friend, "Murasakiba-!"

"Tetsuya!"

All the other prodigies glanced at the door and saw Mayuzumi holding a gun with his finger on the trigger and smoke rising up from its nozzle. He had a mortified expression when his eyes landed on Kuroko being held down and hurt by Akashi, it then carved into a raged one and pointed his gun at Kise's head. "Let Tetsuya go... or else his head goes down..."

Kuroko opened one of his eyes at the voice, recognizing it. "Chihiro-nii...!" His voice cracked and a pained gasp escaped his lips when his hair was pulled back much harder. Mayuzumi's eyes narrowed more and he gritted his teeth. "LET HIM GO!" He shot at Kise but missed.

Aomine smirked and kneeled down, making the foot stepping on Kuroko's hand squeeze much harder and another cry was heard from the light bluenette. Mayuzumi cocked his gun again, "I said-!" His eyes widened.

"Heh, I would put that gun away if I were you, or his head goes off." Aomine's smirked deepened in craze as he cocked his own gun and pointed it exactly in the middle of Kuroko's forehead.

Midorima pointed his gun at Mayuzumi, "You have no choice, Mayuzumi."

"Put that down, or three of you die." Akashi pointed his own gun at Kagami.

The cycle was final, one shoot then everyone shoots. Each shot can kill anyone except Aomine, Murasakibara, Midorima and Akashi.

"Chihiro-nii... Just put it down." Kuroko mumbled in the silence. Mayuzumi hesitated for a minute, but then obliged and lowered his gun, dropping it at the ground and raising both of his hands. Akashi smirked and raised his gun to point at Mayuzumi this time.

"I wonder... What would happen if I pull the trigger right now?" Akashi tilted his head, feigning curiosity. Mayuzumi glared at the heterochromatic redhead and Kuroko squirmed. "No..." He mumbled.

"Chihiro-nii... Chihiro-nii... I'll save you this time. Kill me instead. Don't harm Chihiro-nii." Kuroko looked up with wide desperate eyes. Fresh tears made its way on his cheeks as he gasped for air, uncomfortably shuddering. Akashi raised an eyebrow at the quivering bluenette and gestured Kise to move away and release his foot from the boy's back. He did the same for Aomine.

Both forces were hesitantly removed and Kuroko had no excuses to quiver like a little kitten drenched in water, but he still did. Mayuzumi noticed this and took a step towards his little brother. "Tetsuya?"

Akashi cocked his gun and warned Mayuzumi not to take any steps closer. Kuroko gasped and trembled on the ground wildly, "I-I-I...kill m-me instead... I can't... Chihiro-nii, Ch-Chihiro-nii... P-Papa p-please no no no no, K-Kagami-kun, Chihiro-nii, h-help me, k-kill me please, brother, don't leave me don't don't don't no nonononononono...!" He rambled on and on, forming incoherent sentences,

Mayuzumi can't help but to run and cradle his little brother by his side. Kagami, sensing his best friend is in trouble, crawled over and went by Kuroko's side and brushed his palm on a pale and sweating cheek.

Akashi dropped his gun, finding no threats; he gestured for the others to withdraw their guns as well. Kuroko became a shaking mess on the arms of his brother, still mumbling words and his eyes still wide and desperate. "Kill me kill me kill me kill me brother Chihiro-nii, Papa, where's Mama no don't do that. That's wrong, I don't wanna kill him please, Chihiro-nii. Chihiro-nii."

"Kurokocchi...?" The blonde was obviously worried for the light bluenette and he walked over by Kuroko's side in no time, "What's happening to him?"

Kagami looked down and held Kuroko's hand, "He's having a panic attack. Just please, all of you just shut up for awhile until he calms down." He stood up with Mayuzumi carrying Kuroko, he led both of them to the bed and lied the boy down with Mayuzumi following suit.

Mayuzumi wrapped his little brother in a warm embrace with one of his hand patting comforting pats and circles on the boy's back and the other hand stroking those light blue locks softly.

"Can you bring him to sleep?" Kagami asked Mayuzumi and the latter nodded. Kagami nodded in return and turned to the prodigies, "Okay. First of all, Kuroko has to rest. Second, I'll explain everything. Third, not here, so let's go to my room for that."

All the prodigies nodded in acceptance and acknowledged Kuroko for one more time before leaving the room. Kagami was last and he eyed Kuroko one more time, "Don't worry Kuroko, you still haven't considered that they may help you." Kuroko's hand trembled and fisted in an unexplainable way and he mouthed a silent 'thank you' among all the other words he muttered.

Kagami's eyes softened and held care, he waved slightly before exiting the room. His dark red eyes told the prodigies to follow him, "Somewhere private and comfy would be nice." He grunted and walked to the direction of the private and office quarter, soon opening a wooden door with a metal plate signed 'Kuroko Tetsuya' and entering it with the accompaniment of the other rainbow colored sheriffs.

"Is Kurochin going to be okay? Should I go back and give him a snack?" Murasakibara wondered aloud, his eyebrows angled in worry. Kagami shook it off and sat down on Kuroko's usual office chair, gesturing them to sit too.

"As long as Chihiro's with him, he'll definitely be fine." The tall redhead grunted again.

Akashi sighed and clicked his tongue as a signal and his underlings took out their weapons; they were pointed at no one else but Kagami in a threatening way. "Speak." Akashi simply said- not ordered, heavens no -just said. Kagami glared at all of them.

"What am I, stupid? Of course I'd tell y'all. I wouldn't want my brains and guts grinded and fried into burgers anyways." Kagami shivered at the thought, until his composure meant business. "Ask away."

Kise started, "What's Kurokocchi's natural hair color?" Aomine smirked and slammed his hand against the blonde's back, "When the hell did you ever get so observant?" He chuckled and the blonde glared daggers at him.

"Shut u-"

Kagami butted in, not really wanting comedy and humor present in Kuroko's office, "Probably somewhere between teal and cerulean, but lighter. He oft-" Akashi raised an eyebrow at that and interrupted. "I'd advice that you stop any misfits and more lies because I'm not buying it."

"First of all, let me finish the goddamn statement. He often dyes his hair because...reasons. Would you accept personal matters to be kept as personal?"

Akashi hesitated at wanting to stab the damn fool for belittling him, but let it pass; he nodded his head but his smile didn't look like he wanted secrets as secrets. Kagami ignored that and waited for another question.

"What's his involvement with the phantom thief?" Midorima came in next.

Kagami sighed and massaged his temples, "This is going to be a long day, I fucking swear..."

"He is halfway involved. Why? He didn't want it, he never wanted it; but he had to, or else his 'Papa' would punish him again and again and again." Kagami gritted his teeth at the mention of the damn term, wanting to rid of the man's crazed face and voice on his head and memory.

Their response demanded answers so he just continued.

"This may seem unexpected or surprising, but Kuroko is actually a victim of heavy abuse. Since the Kuroko Family's main forte is their genes and character of being complete psychos, more like brain abnormality. He's probably the only Kuroko in their family that's sane...well...that's what I think. Thoughts aside, his dad's a complete psycho and so is his mom, but his mom got murdered by his dad so...she's off the list of the child abuse."

"Ah, so that explains the anxiety attacks." Akashi stated the obvious.

Kagami lifted a hand and rested his cheek on it boredly. "Chihiro's also an exception of the Kurokos' genes, since he's adopted. That only happened because he suspected and observed a trace of abuse from Kuroko- which happened to be his fondest friend -and requested, rather...threatened to be adopted. And if the latter wasn't adopted at the soonest time, Kuroko's father would be reported right away. It's not like the authorities would pay attention to that but they have yet to know."

Kagami eyed all of them, "So don't ever belittle Chihiro. He's a big part of Kuroko's life and Kuroko's willing to protect him to death."

All nodded.

"Oh yes, he's also, unfortunately..." Kagami's aura released a raging fire, a terrifying rampage inside a cage. "He's a victim of rape. None else than his own father." The others seemed to have the same aura (especially Akashi, damn) and also the burning jealousy intact.

"He's gotten used to it and it hits him at some times like an aphrodisiac. It's pitiful, really. Kuroko's quite picky on who could touch him. So far, he rejects everyone except Mayuzumi."

Aomine stood up and slammed his hands against the table, "S-So... they fuck often?!" Kise seemed to have the same question floating above him, judging from his expression.

Kagami nodded and raised and eyebrow, "Why do you ask?"

Akashi spoke for them, "They saw both of them doing it like rabbits in the underground dungeon; specifically one of the cells that held Mayuzumi." Kise and Aomine gave him looks of disbelief and utter horror, but let it slide because it's Akashi that we're talking about here. Logic and other impossibilities be damned.

Kagami looked dumbstruck for a second but then he gained his composure not long after. "A-Anyways, yeah. They do it often, mostly in weird places as long as Kuroko is h-horny as one may say it." He blamed his imagination for his own red cheeks; and the others didn't fail in noticing that, creating an imagination of their own and painting more cheeks red.

Suddenly, Kagami's composure turned serious.

"It all started with his dearest twin brother. And unfortunately, he's been affected by the insanity and psycho tendencies of the Kuroko ancestors. It didn't look like it when they were still young kids, but as he grew up, the insanity and brain abnormality grew like a parasite feeding inwards to outwards."

Kagami sighed, "It wasn't just that. It wasn't the last straw for Nigou; let me just say that he's much more insane today than he was in the past. And that's not all, there's more to it..."

"Tetsumi!"

The desperate shouts of a black haired man echoed through the house, no one except three and himself hearing it. He shouted once again, hoping for a reply, yet hearing none, he almost gave up. Tears welled his eyes at his lost lover and lost children. "T-Tetsumi...! Where the hell are you!" Crazed eyes looked around, giving him a murderous sight; as if he was the predator, and said 'Tetsumi' is the prey.

"Tetsum-"

Suddenly, a gunshot and a very familiar woman's cry was heard. He stopped, he processed the sound and what happening could've happened with the sound. He screamed murder and ran towards it.

It brought him to stairs, a dark hallway, more spiral stairs and another dark hallway, descending into the strange and big house of the mafia. It brought him to a wooden door with bloodstains that just looked as if someone's head was banged on it, and bloody handprints too.

He screamed again and kicked the door open, he looked around.

He regretted it.

"Kuro...ya..." There lied his dying lover. On the wooden floors with blood pooling below her and two silent infants on her arms. She cried and cried and cried for her infants, despite the fact that she has been shot. "Kuroya... I.. I'm sorry... I couldn't protect them... or myself..."

Kuroya led himself to her side, picking her up and hugging her, "No! I'm sorry! Because of me...you..." It was no use, she couldn't hear him. Her eyes were dulled and sightless, her breath was non-existent, her whole body unmoving. She's gone. More blood pooled at the floor and his own clothes.

His hands went up to stroke her light blue strands, possessiveness filling his veins. He stared at her dull real eyes and remembered the times when those orbs shined in happiness. He cried and cried and cried... Then he wildly fisted his hands on her hair, crazed eyes looking at dead eyes.

"Why did you have to die... WHY!? WHY DID YOU LEAVE ME! Live live LIVE!" He shook her head with his hands grabbing her hair, some bunches ripping out of her scalp. But she did not flinch, for she is lifeless. "IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT. YOU WERE TOO STUPID TO FOLLOW THEM! Don't... DON'T LEAVE ME!"

A cry snapped him out of his crazed state. He stopped.

...

Another cry was heard and he looked around. It was a small voice. It sounds like life.

"Uwaaaahhh!" It cried. He looked down and he saw a twitch, a movement, a breath, life.

But it wasn't from his wife, it was from his wife's arms. Light blue, the same shade as his wife's, snuggled closer into the physically cold but emotionally warmth of its' mother.

The light blue was full of life, yet the other black was motionless but alive. Both breathed, both were plump and rosy, but not both were moving and crying.

His eyes softened at the crying bae, but he paid no attention to the silent one. His instincts told him to go away from here, so he stroked Tetsumi's hair with care for the last time, and picked up the light blue bae from her arms. He whispered a silent goodbye to her, and left with the teal infant and tears.

The bloody door closed and inside the room, a dead woman corpse was left with her black haired living infant in her arms.

A cry was heard from said infant's lips, a desperate cry of pure sadness, loneliness, and abandonment.
