Kai growled in frustration. The halls were a spinning mess, twists and turns and dead ends, with absolute no signs to tell where to go. It was hard to believe that the scientists could find their way about.

He looked up at the ceiling, no sign of a green glowing sign saying 'exit'. He let out a disgruntled sigh as he ran into another dead end.

"How am I going to get back to Aichi if I can't find my way around..?" He sighed, running back down the hall.

"Dead end."

Misaki grumbled, turning around in the other direction. She panted, leaning against the wall, her muscles aching, and her tummy rumbling. She suddenly realized just how hungry she was, her stomach feeling like it was twisting in knots. Groaning, she peeked through the windows of the wooden doors.

Nothing but a test room.

She moaned, walking back down the hall, clenching her stomach.

Am I going to die before I even find the way out?

Kamui glanced around. There were four hallways, four different paths. He went down the second path, running as fast as his stout legs could carry him.

Kamui paused, widening his eyes.

In front of him was an emergency exit.

It wasn't what Kai thought it was, but it was a large sphere with a small hatch, filled with food and water supplies and a desert survival guide.

"Oi! Kai! Misaki! I found the exit!"

No answer. Kamui groaned, sitting next to the sphere, tapping his fingers impatiently.

I'm sorry that not much has happened here. I'll try to fit some action in next chapter.
