G has some memory of Easter.
Mostly, it was him sitting through various churches and listen to various sermons. It took him years to understand them because honestly, he paid no attention to them. He would stare at the stain glass windows or doodle on newsletters with pencils he stole from how are we doing surveys in those fast food places.
It wasn't until years later, did he understand that Easter was not only a religious holiday but it also came with into chocolate, egg hunts, and giant rabbits. Personally, he thought that Easter was a strange combination of Halloween and Christmas but what did he know. He made of note of being strange for a holiday and moved on. Most of the time, it was a day off to him.
That changed when Sam came along.
A lot of things changed when he met Sam.
Sam introduced him to traditions, holidays, and rituals. He was introduced to aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins, nephews, nieces, and a whole bunch of great relatives that he was surprised that he could keep track of all.
Most of all, he was introduced Sam's kids, who thought that he was the best uncle ever. He became their favorite uncle when they had water guns and Sam happened to be washing the car.
So, when he was invited to Easter egg hunt, he thought that he was going to sit back and watch small children run around to find small plastic eggs filled with candy. Apparently, Sam's wife was afraid that he and Sam would hide the eggs somewhere the children couldn't find them.
They aren't that cruel…although, it would be kind of funny to see all of those children trying to climb all of those trees.
But Sam's kids had other ideas.
"No, Uncle G, you are my team," The youngest one, Carla said as she dragged him away from the tables.
"No, Uncle G is on my team," Christopher said as he grabbed his other hand.
"Whoa…Whoa…how about I am on both of your teams?" He said.
The kids stopped and stared at him like he was crazy. He had to appeal to their inner kid or their ultimate goal of too much candy.
"You get more candy if you work together."
"Really?" Christopher and Carla said together.
He nodded his head.
"Now…what is the plan?" He asked.
They looked at each other then Christopher answered.
"Get all of the candy?" Christopher said.
He laughed.
"That sounded like a good plan but do you have a strategy? An action plan?" He asked.
They shook their heads no.
"Well…you have done these Easter Egg hunts before. What eggs do most of the kids go for?"
"The closest ones,' Carla said.
"Do they end up getting a lot of eggs?"
"Nope," Christopher said.
"So, what should we do?"
"Go away from the other kids and get the other eggs."
"Bingo," He said with a grin.

"One for Carla. One for me. One for Uncle G. One for Carla. One for me. One for…" Christopher said as he split their finds.
"G! There you are….What in the world? How many eggs did you three get?!" Sam said as he stared at their pile of eggs.
"114! We would have more if Uncle G didn't give an egg to Missy because she couldn't reach it." Carla added.
Sam just stared at him for a moment.
"You are going to explain this to my wife," Sam said.
"Of course," He said
"Don't worry, Daddy. You and Mommy can have one but Uncle G gets to have the most because he is helped with the action plan!" Christopher added.
"The action plan?" Sam said with amusement.
"It worked, did it?" He said with a grin.
Sam started to laugh.

A/N: Happy belated Easter! I hope you guys enjoy it. I looked on Wikepedia to see if they have a list of Sam's kids' name. They don't. So, I winged it. But read and Review if you wish.
