I hear them chant as I duel against Shingo.

Pendulum! Pendulum!

Visions of those kids chanting the same thing flash before my eyes.

Pendulum! Pendulum!

"You're worthless!" Shingo says. "Only your pendulum cards matter!"

Is that….really all I'm worth?

I see my dad swinging the pendulum in front of me in time to the chants.

Pendulum! Pendulum!

I feel dark energy surging through me.

Pendulum! Pendulum!

Yes…I feel…powerful. Strong. Like I can kill the world and get away with it.

I feel myself losing….all…sense…
