Are you ready? Chapter 12: Student Body Knows

"We need to figure something out you guys." Otoya said determinedly as he folds his arms and looks at the guys.

The remaining guys in the room are Cecil, Natsuki, Syo, and Otoya himself. Earlier when Ren stormed out of the room Haruka was left behind crying her heart, and the remaining guys tried to cheer her up. But Tomo came by to check up how things were going until she saw her best friend was upset, she took her to the bathroom to help her calm down and filled her in of what happened. So for now they are giving the girls some space.

"I know what we can do is go after Ren and beat the living crap out of him! Why are we here!? Masato and Tokiya went after him..." Syo expressed with anger.

"You know why Syo-kun...it will only upset Haru-chan more...and nothing won't happened, because Tokiya will make sure Masa wouldn't do anything to reckless. Besides...this is very surprisingly that our Haru-chan will be a mother..." Natsuki explained as his eyes became sadden.

Cecil is leaning against the wall while folding his arms and listening to everyone's comments and he couldn't believe this is happening either. Until Otoya shares something unexpected.

"You know..." Otoya begun as his gaze became serious, "I think Nanami should give the baby away for adoption."

The three men eyes widen in shocked and couldn't believe that Otoya would agree to Haruka's decision.

"Why would you say that Otoya?" Cecil questioned as he gets up from leaning against the wall.

Otoya was a little anxious to continue more as his palms became sweaty as words came out, "Well...adoption isn't so bad, look at me for one. When my mother passed away, I was put in an orphanage and I never met my father. Even though their were times, I was sad that I didn't have my parents with me, I was never alone. The kids there became my new brothers and sisters and the lady there became another mother to me. Even though I wasn't adopted by another family, I felt the orphanage was my home."

"That may be true Otoya, you were lucky to be put into a nice orphanage. I believe every child should be with their parents it makes the child feel loved. If Haru-chan and Ren do give their child away for adoption, I believe they would regret it." Natsuki shared his thoughts.

"Okay but we do know that Nanami isn't ready! She wants the baby to be with a couple that are ready to raise it, and I understand where she is coming from, being the composer for STARISH is very important to her and us." Syo sighed and continue, "Even I know where Ren is coming from...not knowing where your child is or never knowing them would suck."

Cecil wanted to share his thoughts as well, " Even though we all have our own opinions, it's not our decision. We have to accept that it's Ren and Haruka's choice. I just hope whatever they decide is the right choice..." He looks at the window to watch the scenery of the academy, "Also, we have to make sure that Shinning never finds out."

"Jinguji! Stop!" Masato shouts as he goes after Ren. They are at the spot where the group would often meet up to practice on top of the green hill where it's far away from the academy.

Masato grab a hold of his shoulder to spin him in front of him as Ren pushes his hand off of him, "Can't you see that I want to be left alone!" Ren hissed at his old friend. Tokiya went between the two and tried to catch his breath.

"You got a lot of explaining to do Jinguji. What happened in there with Nanami?" Tokiya asked strictly.

Just thinking about it is making the saxophone player furious while clenching his hands. "She wants to give the baby away for adoption."

The two blue-hair men shared the same look of being in shock and didn't know what to say. But they both realized that it really upset Ren when he found out about the news.

"It was never your idea then?" Masato asked curiously.

Ren look at his friends and tried to remain calm but all that came out was rage, "Of course it wasn't! I just don't understand why Lady thinks that's the answer, it isn't! I never thought she would do that. Every child should have both parents...I." The saxophone player remember his sad past and his furious expression turned into a sadden look. "Loosing my mother was very hard for my family. I was thankful to have my father but...he was never there for me as a child. Back then it felt like I had no parents there to love me. The loneliness was unforgettable, and the only thing that kept me going was music, yes...music saved me. I do not want my child to go through the same thing I did. I will never make the same mistake as my father did, I will be there for my child no matter what."

It was silent for a few minutes both the blue-hair males were very surprised of how Ren truly felt.

"I was wrong about you Jinguji," Tokiya began. "After Nanami shared her news, I thought you wouldn't want anything to do with the baby. I was very wrong and really misunderstood you."

"I don't forgive you for making Namai suffer. But I do believe what you said, that you do want to be there for the baby. But..." Masato asked calmly but his eyes were still cold. "Do you love Nanami?"

The saxophone player didn't show no expression, but only his heart skip a beat of the question. His heart knew the answer, but his mind doesn't want to admit it. He was about say something until Tokiya's phone was ringing.

"Hello?"

"Tokiya! Something bad is happening right now!"

"What's wrong!?"

"I do not know how but someone found out about Nanami's pregnancy and the whole student body knows! It's really bad a lot of people are being mean to Nanami!"

"Were coming!"

Both Ren and Masato looked very concern as they saw how upset Tokiya is as he shouts, "We need to go back to the academy! Everyone knows about Nanami's pregnancy."

"This is very bad!" Masato shouts with anger.

"Why are we standing around for!? Let's go!" Ren shouts with anger as he raced back to the academy.

The three members of STARISH are praying to get there in time to save Haruka and hopefully it is not too late.

In the hallway the students are looking at Haruka Nanami giving her a nasty look of disgust. Haruka felt trapped at the corner where everyone block her way, she had no where to run or hide. The only one that is shielding her is her best friend Tomo as she tried to get people to move away but no one didn't nudge. The students kept asking Haruka so many questions. But the one that stood out with a powerful voice that pushed her way through the crowd, was Akane the head president of the Ren fangirl club. Her scary chocolate eyes looked directly at the young composer.

"Explain this Haruka Nanami, how did you get pregnant? Which STARISH member knock you up?" Akane asked snotty as she folds her arms.

Tomo got up to her face and was ready to slap her till one of Akane's members grab hold of her arms. "Hey! Let go!" Tomo shouts furiously as Akane smirked.

"Tomochika Shibuya this is not your concern. I am talking to Haruka not you."

"You little! This is none of your business you better back off!" Tomo tried to fight back but another girl hold her back.

Haruka eyes widen as she begged Akane, "Please leave Tomo alone! W-Why are you doing this!?"

Akane went up to the young composer's face and frowned at her, "Because you think you are so damn perfect, and I been waiting for you to screw up. Look at you! You are barely showing, and I know a lot of the girls have been expecting something off with you some time now. Where they hear you throwing up, going to the nurse office and wearing a bigger jacket to cover yourself up. I knew I had to investigate. So share who is the baby daddy?"

"Why...are you doing this...?" Haruka was trembling of fear. She cannot handle all of this. In her mind she is wishing that Ren was here to save her...

"Because you stole Ren...he cared about all the girls and gave us attention all the time. But ever since you came into the picture, he has lost focus on us, and I never knew why...sure you got talent I give you that, but you are not pretty. So why...?"

"Back off!" Syo threatens at her face as she flinches of his appearance, and notice that half of the STARISH have appeared. Cecil is guarding Haruka, Natsuki and Otoya saved Tomo from the mean girls. Their by Haruka side to protect her from the evil Akane.

Akane squeezed her arms so tight and growled of the sight of Haruka's friends protecting her, "Just...why!? Why do people protect you!?"

"Because she has a kind heart that's why."

All eyes turned to the manly voice and it was no other then Ren Jinguji then behind him are Masato and Tokiya. The guys made their way through the crowd, and went to Haruka's side. "How dare you talk to my lady like that." Ren glare at the mean girl.

"B-But Ren! She broke the rules and because of her, you can't continue with your music! Are you okay with that because she slept with someone in the band!?" Akane raised her voice as it echo through the halls.

"It wouldn't be a problem because it's my baby." Ren said in a serious voice.

The halls uproar of confusion and Akane lost it of hearing the news. The STARISH group couldn't believe Ren had the guts to admit it, even Haruka was blown away. But what made a louder uproar was a contagious laugh.

"HA HA HA HA!"

Everyone knew it was no other then Mr. Shinning, as he swings into the halls up high from the ceiling as he lands on the floor. "HOHO I have never seen so much excitement in the halls before! Settle down children! I want everyone to go back to their rooms immediately! STARISH and Miss. Nanami please come to my office at once!"

Author Notes: Hello everyone! I brought you another chapter thank you so much for being so patient. I have been very busy, I just started a new job so it has been taken most of my time. Whenever I have free time and coffee I shall bring you another chapter.

Holy cow! Lots happened in this chapter. What is going to happen!? I love that STARISH and Tomo are there for Haruka no matter what. Hopefully everything works out!
