A/N: Another Thievyrie fic! Sorta had a writer's block and this has been sitting in my prompt list thing. Anyway, enjoy!:)

"Un. Claim. Me," Kenzi seethed, angry and heartbroken. She couldn't think, couldn't concentrate on the impact of her words. All she felt was the immense pain Hale's death had left and the betrayal she felt towards Bo at the moment.

Bo froze, unsure what to do. The pain she felt at Kenzi's demands were written clearly on her face. Finally, her face hardened into an unreadable look. "Fine. I unclaim you."

Whatever resolve Kenzi had left finally broke. She knew it's what she had asked but she never thought in a million years her best friend, her sister, would agree to such a thing.

Kenzi stormed out of the house, lost and confused, unsure of where to go. All she knew was that she had to get out of there before the grief consumed her.

"There you are. I've been looking for you for hours," a soothing voice said behind her. Kenzi glanced behind her and a feeling of relief washed over her. Tamsin.

"You know, you shouldn't wander around like this alone. Especially now that you're…"

"Say it. I'm unclaimed now and every fae is going to come looking for the unaligned Succubus' weak human pet," Kenzi snapped out. Tamsin recoiled at the venom in her words and her face softened. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to snap at you."

"S'okay, I understand. You're hurting right now and you have every right to be angry," Tamsin said. She made her way to Kenzi and sat down next to her, wrapping her up in a warm hug, "But you are not alone. I'm here. And if I could take away that pain you carry with you, I would."

Kenzi whimpered, and she buried herself into Tamsin's warm embrace. The pain gnawing at her heart, her very soul, was overwhelming. She wished nothing more than to give it away, let someone carry the burden for he, even if only for a moment. Being with Tamsin lessened the pain and it was a welcomed relief.

"This is all Bo's fault. She could have done something but she didn't! She just let him die. I hate her," Kenzi growled out.

Tamsin hesitated, unsure of how to phrase what she was about to say. "I know you're mad at Bo but she loves you and she cares about you. You are her heart, Kenz and she couldn't do what you asked. Hale wouldn't have wanted that."

"It wasn't for her to decide! I was going to say yes! I was going to say yes and I never got the chance," the small girl whimpered out.

"He knows, Kenz. Everytime he looked into your baby blues, he could see how much you loved him. We all could. Your love, while short lived, was the greatest love stories I have ever witnessed in all of my many lifetimes," Tamsin said lovingly. The blonde's words soothed something within Kenzi. It was exactly what she needed to hear, and while it didn't make the pain go away, it made it bearable.

"Thank you," Kenzi whispered out before melting further into the blonde.

"Of course, Kenz. Anything for you," the Valkyrie cooed. "Claim me."

"What? Tamsin, what in the fae are you talking about?"

"You're unclaimed, Kenzi. Which means you are unprotected in our world. It means you will be in constant danger and I will not let harm come your way. But I don't want to "own" you. I want you to be free and I want you to be safe. So instead of me claiming you, I want you to claim me. I will be your Valkyrie, for as long as I shall live,"

Kenzi leaned back and stared into her eyes. The amount of pure and raw love she saw within those breathtaking emerald hues awakened something within the human, something she had no idea even existed. She knew, in that moment, that Tamsin was in love with her. And she also knew, deep in her heart, that she loved the blonde as well.

"Yes. Tamsin, I claim you as my own," Kenzi declared proudly.

The enormous grin faded out the constant pain in Kenzi's heart and being engulfed in a tight hug further proved that she would find happiness again.
