Chelsey's POV

Watching him walk away made every part of me want to go after him. To stop whatever just happened from effecting us. But my brain keeps telling me that it isn't going to help anything. Why does my heart feel like it wants to explode when I remember the broken look on his face? I don't even know what just happened.

I slide back into my shoes and run back to the camp. I see my dad's messy black hair.

"Dad!" I say running up to him.

"Yeah?" he asks nervously.

"Have you seen Isaac?" I ask. He shakes his head, confused.

"No, I thought he was with you. What's going on?" he asks. I shake my head.

"I'll tell you later. I need to find him." I say. I leave him behind me, the same confused face that he has when my mom talks about work.

I ask a few campers the same question, but they just look at me confused before carrying on their conversations.

"Bianca!" I call out to a girl sitting by herself. Her dark blue eyes look at me quizzically.

"Yes?" she asks.

"Have you seen Isaac?" I ask her. Her face goes pale.

"Uh... no.." she stutters nervously.

"Bianca, have you seen Isaac?" I ask again. I can tell by the look on her face that she knows. She shakes her head, biting on her lip.

"Bianca, why won't you tell me? I need to find him!" I say to her urgently. She looks down and sighs.

"He told me not to tell you. He seemed upset." she says quietly.

"That's why I need to find him. Please Bianca. Just tell me where he went." I beg her.

"Infirmary." she says looking down. I sigh happily.

"Thank you." I say walking towards the infirmary.

Stepping onto the old buildings porch makes my heart race more. I can hear voices.

"You knew about it! Why can't you just stop trying to take anything that wasn't yours to begin with?" I hear Isaac says angrily. I put my hand on the knob, but the response stops me.

"Look man, it happened. I don't know what to tell you. You can find someone else." I hear Dean say. When did he wake up?

"No I can't. You can. This is the only shot I will get! I don't have every girl falling at my feet like you do!" Isaac retorts.

"Isaac, just calm down man." Dean says.

"I'm perfectly calm! I just don't get how you can't get it through your thick skull that you are being a player. One girl. That's the only thing I have Dean. Why can't you understand?" I hear Isaac say. The tone of his voice makes my heart ache. He sounds so vulnerable and hurt.

"I understand. You need to understand that she wasn't yours to begin with." Dean says back.

"Is this a game to you? She's a person, not a prize! Gods, what happened to you? When did you become such a jerk?" Isaac asks angrily.

"Whatever. She doesn't even like you anyway." Dean says.

"I can't do this right now. Just remember something, Grace. You hurt her, I'll burn you alive." I hear Isaac warn.

I open the door to the infirmary finding Dean wide-eyed and Isaac gone.

"Hey, have you seen Isaac?" I ask acting to not hear them talking. He shakes his head quickly.

"No." he says. It hurts to hear him lie to me to protect himself.

"Okay. I'm going to go. I'll come back later." I say. He nods and I walk back out of the infirmary.

I swiftly walk past Piper and Jason. Piper looks at me like she can tell that I'm upset, but Jason doesn't even notice me. All I care about right now is finding him.

"Aunt Reyna, would you have by chance seen Isaac anywhere?" I ask.

"Uh, I just say him go towards Thalia's tree." she says confused.

"Is something going on?" she questions. I shake my head and fake a smile.

"No, it's fine. I just forgot to tell him something." I lie. She can tell I"m lying. I can almost feel her staring me down, but I shake it off.

"Thanks." I say before heading towards the tree. Leaning against one side is a boy crying.

"Isaac!" I call running up to him. His brown eyes go dark.

"What do you want?" he asks angrily. I sit down next to him.

"What's wrong? I don't understand why you are mad at me." I ask him. He shakes his head, looking away.

"I'm not mad at you. I'm just frustrated. I'm angry at someone else." he says.

"Dean?" I guess. He scrunches his eyebrows together in shock.

"How did you know?"

"It was a wild guess." I lie. He looks at me. He knows I heard them fighting.

"How much did you hear?" he asks.

"Enough." I respond.

"I'm sorry." he says.

"Why are you sorry?" I question. His brown eyes look into mine.

"Good, so you didn't hear that part." he mumbles.

"What part?" I persist.

"It's nothing." he says.

"Really? Why won't you tell me?" I ask him. He looks away.

"It was about you." he says.

"What did you say?" I ask. He shakes his head.

"Isaac, whatever you said isn't going to make me hate you. What did you say?" I ask. He swallows.

"I love you. I'm in love with you."
