Hello everyone, I'm back. Sorry for my disappearance. I kind of lost motivation for this story and struggled extremely with this chapter, so sorry that it's really short and bland but I needed to post something to get the juices again. Tell me what you think.

Thanks goes to all of those who reviewed, it is what prompted me to go back to writing. Thank you so much.

Anyways, because I have little motivation and ideas for this story, please tell me if you have any. I also want to make a side story of little fics about Harry and Logan. i also just posted a Harry Potter/Star Trek fic so go look at that too.

CHAPTER 13

KITCHEN, MAIN LIVING QAURTERS

AVENGER'S TOWER, NEW YORK

JULY 1ST, 2014

9:45 a.m.

Out of the eleven people currently living in the Tony Stark's grand tower, all but Pepper sat at the table. According to Tony, she had left for some conference in DC earlier this morning. Even though they were missing someone, the table was still full and loud as people slowly woke up and began to plan for their days.

As it happened, Hermione was just reaching for the bowl of potatoes when a large raven appeared in the room mid flight and flew right into her arm, knocking the food everywhere. A second raven followed, except this one flew right into Thor's blond hair.

Hermione, and by extension Tony, who would later deny it, screamed in surprise. Even the trained spies Clint and Natasha both jumped slightly, and their hands went to their waist. Steve, Remus and Bruce choked on their drinks and spluttered. The only ones not affected were Thor and Loki who just sighed and glared at the winged offenders.

With a wave of his hand, Loki cleaned up the mess.

"God, I hate Bifrost flying!" One raven said to the surprise of those at the table. "Oh, potatoes!"

"Huginn, Muninn, what do we owe this pleasure?" Loki asked with forced politeness in his voice.

"We have a message from your father, we do." One of them said.

"And bringing that message was so important that you had to fly into our breakfast and my head?" Thor asked as he touched the spot where a claw had clipped him.

"It was an accident!" The first raven replied to defensively, ruffling his wings.

"Yup!" The second said at the same time as the first. Thor glared at it.

"Not that I don't enjoy having guests," Tony stated. "But do you wanna explain why two bird are standing on my table and talking!?"

"Oh yes. Friends, meet Huginn and Muninn, our father's messenger birds." Loki introduced.

"We are much more than just messenger birds, boy! We watch of the realms for the Allfather and inform of important news and information." The bird now known as Muninn replied pompously. He reminded Hermione and Harry of Percy Weasley.

"And carry messages," Thor concluded with a smile. Somehow, the ravens managed to glare at him. Hermione giggled.

As they were about to start arguing, Loki stepped in. In a steeling voice, he asked, "And what message do you have?"

The two birds stood next to each other and opened their mouth at the same time.

"Loki," Odin's impressive voice was heard coming from both mouths. "It seems you have not been entirely truthful with me, my son. Earlier today, Heimdell came to me with a message of a large influx in Asgardian magic from Midgard. However, he said that it did not come from you. No, it came from your daughter!" Loki and Thor actually winced at the now shouting voice. "You have until nightfall to report to Midgard with your brother and daughter. Do not disappoint me, Loki."

The silence was defining. For a few moments, the only sound was Muninn feasting on scrambled eggs. Finally, Thor broke the silence.

"Well, brother, I hope you are ready."

Loki only groaned.

JUNE 1ST, 2014

11:30 a.m.

EMPTY FIELD

OUTSKIRTS OF NEW YORK

Thor, Loki, Remus, and Hermione stood in the center of a large field empty for almost a mile in all directions. They were here to call down Heimdell so they could take the Bifrost to Asgard, as of Odin's orders. The two menacing crows were still them.

Harry had decided to stay behind with Logan at the school to catch up. He was eager to spend time with the only man he thought as family. Hermione could still remember the affectionate actions between the two.

"HEIMDELL!" Thor yelled in his booming voice. "WE ARE IN NEED OF YOUR ASSISTENCE"

A rainbow colored light tunnel flashed through the air towards the ground. Wind whipped Hermione's long hair around and she unconsciously stepped closer to her father. Loki glanced down at her, a small smile on his face.

"He is a fan of dramatics."

Before Hermione could respond the light reached the ground and launched her off her feet. The Gryffindor shot into the air, shrieking and holding onto Loki.

Thor was laughing with his throaty laugh and swung his hammer. Remus was repeatedly saying "Oh Merlin, oh Merlin, oh Merlin" as bright lights flashed passed them.

"I don't like flying!"Hermione shrieked as she clung to safety of her father's waist tightly.

Suddenly, the whooshing feeling was over and Hermione felt her feet connect with stable ground. She slowly opened her clenched eyes to see a large man with heavy armor watching her with a faint smile on his face. When the man saw her curious gaze he tipped his head down to her.

"My Lady Hermione," He said with a deep but smooth voice. "I am Heimdell, the gatekeeper of Asgard. May I be the first to say, welcome to Asgard."

He made a sweeping motion with his arm and Hermione's eyes caught on the glittering sight of the dazzling city outside of the Bifrost doors. Next to Thor, Remus also made a surprised noise.

"Welcome home, my lioness." Loki whispered in his daughter's ear. "Welcome home, my angel."

Loki led the group of four through the busy city to the large palace. All this time, Hermione stared around in shock. She saw many of the common people looking at her curiously as they bowed to her dad and uncle.

"Soon they shall be bowing to you as well, niece." Thor remarked at one point. Hermione looked at him in shock.

"Me?"She asked.

"You are a princess, are you not? It would only be right to."

"I-I guess." Hermione said uncertainly. She still had trouble understanding the concept of her being royalty.

"Let's just hope father doesn't kill us first, hmm?" Loki muttered to himself.

"Loki!" Remus scolded, seeing the panicked look on Hermione's face to that comment. Odin wasn't angry with them, was he? Did Odin even want a granddaughter? Questions like these and more ran through her mind as they got closer and closer to the main doors of the throne room.

And then they were there. Large golden doors stood in between them and Odin. Before they could say anything, the guards on duty opened the doors. With a hesitant look, they started to move in.

"My lord, the King has requested that only Prince Loki and Prince Thor enter. Your quests must wait out here." One of the guards stated. Loki glared but nodded.

"Best not make him anymore angry. Will you be alright?" He asked Hermione more than Remus. She nodded. After a second of hesitation, she threw her arms around his waist.

Loki ran a soft hand through her hair and kissed her forehead. "Go, sit with Remus. I am sure that my mother will be out soon."

He leaned over and pressed a quick kiss to Remus's lips.

"Have fun," The werewolf teased lightly, causing Loki to roll his eyes.

"I'll be done in a little while, don't worry." Was the last thing he said before the heavy doors closed behind him, his royal battle armor magically folding over his form.
