Aloha fellow readers,

It's alice.

Sorry for the long wait...(really really long wait). \(A)/

I was REALLY busy... still am... but I thought i should keep this story going... Ill try to update more and be consistent with my updates... (#^~^#)

Sorry... not feeling up for the whole intro for disclaimer thing today...

Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto or Fairy Tail... Only this story I'm writing now.

P.S. I will probably make this chapter longer in the near future. I Just want to sleep now.. ZZZ

Enjoy:

Another day, another dawn, another explanation needed.

"What do you think those guys wanted with Naruto?" Grey asked.

"I don't know..." replied Erza as she looked down at the sleeping blond on the bed next to her, "but I don't think Naruto knows either. He looked just as shocked as we were when those creeps were talking.

...They team had returned from their mission somewhat recently. Erza, Grey and Natsu were quite pissed off at the people hurting one of their family. Naruto was beyond freaked out at what was going on during the fight. He didn't actually do any fighting as he spaced out, wondering what on earth they wanted with him, or if they knew what was inside him. The team barely escaped dragging Naruto back to the train so they could report their mission a failure, and also figure out what was going on. Naruto had fallen asleep on the ride home -understandable because he had a lot running through his mind as well.

In the room next to the one occupied by Naruto, the Guild Master and a mysterious figure were having a private conversation about the recent incident.

"All I can say is that we need to be more cautious." spoke the mysterious figure, "maybe we should speak him, he needs to know what is going on."

"No! I don't want to risk it. Him knowing more will just create more problems. We don't need him trying to be a hero and trying put a stop to a mess he can't clean up." Spoke the guild master.

"For all we know, they could be lurking near the guild, just waiting for the right moment to strike, they are Danzo's elites after all."

"I know, I don't wish to hesitate, but one wrong move and he'll be exposed, they'll have all the power they need, and it will be disastrous for all living creatures on the earth. No matter if you're a mage or ninja, the balance is already corrupted enough.

It is like a stool, with three legs. One the ninja, one the mage, and the last, the sage. If Danzo suceedes in completely removing the sages from the universe, not only will we fall, but the ninja will as well."

"That may be so, but is the boy truly prepared for what is to come. If we don't speak with him early on, he may not be ready for when they directly attack him."

"Stop there. I believe that Minato or Kurama will reveal the second part of the truth to Naruto when either of them deem him ready. We will only be able to witness a great power come to life, and try to bring balance to a world standing on the edge of teetering plank a thousand feet above a chasm of sharp deathly rocks."

"Alright, I'll put my faith in you, for now. But if it gets too out of hand or overwhelming, call myself... or I may just have to take it into my own hands."

The guild master nodded, "Agreed, Tsunade."

Thanks for reading

I hope you enjoyed this chapter of Only True Demons Can Survive.

I hadn't been able to put much work into this story lately but I tried to start it up again.

Please check out my other story, I don't have a decided idea yet, and I could use some help, so if you have any suggestions, just P.M. me!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend!

Until Next Time!
