Happy Birthday to our beloved Reborn and Tsuna!

Godric's Hollow

It was around thirty minutes after Tsuna called him that Hibari arrived back at Brocket Hall. The skylark had already finished his mission of destroying a drug ring that was operating from the Montgomery Firm's territory. The Cloud's brutal efficiency both impressed and terrified their new allies that had requested the assistance from the Vongola more out of a desire to see what they were capable of then out of true need.

Tsuna, Harry, and Sirius met him outside the inventors' workshop, having gone there to solicit Shoichi's help in getting flowers to lay at the graveside. Tsuna carried a bouquet of dark pink roses to symbolize gratitude. Harry and Sirius both carried more varied bouquets consisting of marigolds and rosemary in both, meaning grief and remembrance respectively. Sirius's bundle also had pear blossoms, asphodel, rainflowers, and white clovers while Harry's bouquet had amaryllis, bellflower, gladiolus, and sweet pea. They were not the prettiest of flower bouquets but they were significant and meaningful, expressing their sense of grief and their promises.

As soon as he was out of the car, Hibari stalked over to Sirius and grabbed his shoulder. Sirius had been carefully coached by Tsuna on what he should not do around the bloodthirsty skylark and was careful to allow the Cloud Guardian to initiate any contact.

Steel gray eyes narrowed in annoyance and asked, "What are you waiting for herbivore? Transport us there so I can get the location."

Sirius blinked in confusion before shaking himself, "Right. Sorry. We'll be right back Tsuna." With that said he apparated the two of them to the outskirts of the half-magical town.

Hibari's sharp eyes took in all the details of the location and committed them to memory. Without a word to Sirius, he then transported himself back to in front of Tsuna leaving Sirius standing alone.

"He could have at least said thank you." Sirius grumbled knowing better than to voice his thoughts to the very dangerous man. He popped back to Brocket Hall to see Tsuna holding Hibari's shoulder in preparation. Sirius pouted at seeing the boss so easily flouting all the rules he had drilled into Sirius's head about how to deal with Hibari and not get bitten to death.

Sirius realized suddenly, if Tsuna was holding onto Hibari that meant that Tsuna was trusting him to transport Harry. The amount of trust Tsuna was displaying by allowing Sirius to transport Harry when he could easily abscond with the child to some other destination was rather overwhelming. He blinked back tears of gratitude and looked gratefully at the Vongola to see him smile understandingly at him.

"Are you ready to go kiddo?" The animagus asked his godson, holding out a hand for him to take. Harry quickly looked to Tsuna for a approval and at his big brother's discrete nod, grabbed a hold of Sirius's hand.

"This will feel a little weird." The wizard warned. Harry nodded. Tsuna and Hibari disappeared with a loud pop and the two wizards followed soon after.

The sun was starting to get low on the horizon over the village of Godric's Hollow. The four males walked into the village together. Sirius noted the Christmas decorations that adorned the cottages that lined the residential street they were strolling towards. It reminded him starkly that the last time he had traversed this area the houses were festooned with a different set of decorations.

They stopped dead in front of a cottage at the end of the lane they came from the back of. The hedge had grown slightly wild in the five years the cottage had been abandoned. Rubble still littered the yard amongst the foot tall grass. Most of the cottage was still intact although partially covered over by ivy, but the right side of the top floor had been blown apart. Sirius closed his eyes in grief at the sight and Harry scooted closer to Tsuna and grabbed his hand for reassurance. The house felt familiar and from what Tsuna and Sirius had told him, this must have once been his home.

"I wonder why it's still like this. Why hasn't it been torn down or rebuilt?" Tsuna murmured after he was finally able to dispel the illusion on the house and was able to see what his intuition told him was there.

Hibari walked forward to the gate and curtly informed them, "I will investigate the house. There is likely not much to be found so many years later but it should be done all the same." As soon as his hand touched the gate however, a sign with golden letters grew out of the ground in front of them from the tangle of weeds. It read:

On this spot, on the night of 31 October 1981,

Lily and James Potter lost their lives.

Their son, Harry, remains the only wizard

ever to have survived the Killing Curse.

This house, invisible to Muggles, has been left

in its ruined state as a monument to the Potters

and as a reminder of the violence

that tore apart their family.

All around the golden letters were scribbles left by witches and wizards that had come to see the place where Voldemort had been defeated. Some had merely signed their names, others left messages, and some had carved their initials into the wood.

Hibari sneered and growled, "Vandalizing herbivores should be bitten to death."

Tsuna's eyes darkened, "They had no right to make such a macabre monument out of Harry's home."

Sirius nodded adding, "Lily would have hated this and James wouldn't have wanted this type of monument."

"Harry this house is yours by all rights. What do you want to do with it? We can have it rebuilt and restored for you for when you are older. Or would you rather leave it as it is?"

Harry pursed his lips in thought. "I don't think I'd ever want to live here. Not after what happened here, but it makes me feel sad to see it like this. Can we still fix it? Maybe someday I'll want to do something with it."

"Of course," Tsuna told him, smiling gently. "Kyoya, could you get some of our people on this? You'll need a Mist user to dispel the illusion on the house for it to be worked on."

Hibari nodded and added, "Get more of the cloaking devices to put around this place to protect it. It looks like most of the place has been looted."

Tsuna sighed, "Probably by souvenir seekers. I had hoped we could have found some things for Harry to keep as remembrance of his parents here."

"If any worth keeping are found it will be kept for the small animal."

"It's not much but I do have a lot of old photographs that I can give to Harry once I get access to and can go through my old stuff." Sirius interjected.

"I'd like that. Thank you Sirius." Harry whispered softly.

"Well we should let Hibari investigate while there is still some natural light. Will you lead the way Sirius." Tsuna suggested.

They walked down the lane until they reached the heart of the village, a small square. Partially hidden by a Christmas tree and bedecked with colored lights was a what looked like a war memorial sitting at the center. From where they were standing they could see several shops and a post office with townspeople bustling in and out of. There was also a pub that was relatively empty due to the time of day. A little church stood in front of the graveyard that was their destination.

They walked through the square and as they passed the war memorial it transformed. Another illusion, Tsuna decided when Harry and Sirius stopped and quickly dispelled it. Instead of the obelisk covered with names as it had appeared before, there stood a statue of three people. A man with glasses and untidy hair, a pretty woman with long hair, and a baby boy sitting on the woman's lap. Sirius sucked in a startled breath before touching the statue wistfully.

"The two adults here are your parents, Harry, and the baby is you." Sirius explained sadly. Harry stared up at the statue wistfully. He could see a great resemblance between himself and the man sitting there and wondered if he would look like him when he was older.

"You look exactly like your dad, but have your mother's beautiful eyes." Sirius told Harry in a choked voice.

"Mum was beautiful." Harry said in awe. Then he frowned, "Why would there be a statue of my parents and me?"

"I told you he was smart." Tsuna commented ruefully to Sirius before giving Harry a serious look. "I really had hoped to wait until you were older to tell you this but you deserve to know the truth. Do you remember when I told you about how your parents died to protect you from a bad man?" At Harry's nod, Tsuna continued, "That bad man, was a wizard like you and Sirius, called himself Lord Voldemort. He had killed many people before he killed your parents and had a lot of people working for him that liked to hurt and kill people as well. Something happened though after he killed your parents and tried to kill you. No one knows exactly what happened although Reborn has a theory but you don't need to know about that until you are older. The spell Voldemort used backfired on him and killed him as well as destroying your home like we saw earlier. After that you and your parents became famous in the wizarding world because you survived the spell he used. No one has ever survived it before. There is more, but right now is not the time to tell you everything. Can you trust me until you are older? I promise to eventually tell you everything we know."

Sirius was surprised that Tsuna had been so straight-forward with Harry about everything. He even told him he was withholding information from him and merely asked him to trust him. With the way Tsuna had manipulated Sirius's trial and the press he had thought that the Vongola Don was much more secretive like Albus about information.

Harry looked at his Tsuna-nii. The sincerity in the man's eyes was obvious and instinctively Harry knew that Tsuna-nii was the one person he could trust absolutely if he never trusted anyone else. Giving Tsuna a shy smile, Harry nodded his assent.

"Let's head to the cemetery. It's already starting to get dark." Tsuna suggested holding his hand out for Harry to take. Harry took the warm hand and the three walked towards the small cemetery sitting behind the church. They entered through a kissing gate and wandered their way around the building's rear. Rows upon rows of gravestones lined the ground, casting long shadows as the sun hung low in the sky. Tsuna turned to Sirius and asked, "Do you know where they may be resting?"

Sirius shook his head sadly, "No, I was arrested the day after they died. I didn't get to attend the funeral."

"Hmm...let's split up but stay close. How about Harry and I look down this row and you look down the one next to it?" Tsuna suggested. "It's getting dark and I don't want us to separate."

Sirius nodded and the two men and one little boy started making their way down the rows searching for James and Lily Potter's tombstone. Sirius was the one that eventually found it. He stopped short and just stared at the headstone with a sad, regretful look on his face. Tsuna noticed the wizard halt in front of a large white marble stone that shone faintly under the light of the moon. Giving Harry a gentle tug, he led them both to stand next to the silent man. Giving Harry his bouquet, he let go of the little boy's hand and knelt gracefully before the stone. Engraved on the slab was:

James Potter Lily Potter

Born 27 March XXXX Born 30 January XXXX

Died 31 October 20XX Died 31 October 20XX

The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

Tsuna frowned at the words. It felt rather trite to him and felt utterly impersonal. There was no mention of who James and Lily were as persons. It was however an issue he would bring up with Sirius and Harry later. Now was time to pay their respects. He lay down his bouquet of dark pink roses and clapped his hands in the traditional Japanese style of prayer saying, "Hello, James, Lily. My name is Tsunayoshi Sawada-Vongola. I know we've never met, but I hope that we might have been friends. Thank you for your sacrifice. I'll try my hardest to make sure it wasn't in vain. Your son Harry is under my care right now and he is an amazing child and you would be proud of him. I promise that I'll watch over him and help him however I can. He hasn't had the best life so far, but my family and I are working to change that. Please watch over him and continue giving him your love and protection."

Tsuna stood up and laid a gentle hand on Sirius's shoulder to get the older man's attention. Tsuna gave a sad smile when he saw the tears in the other man's eyes and told him, "I'll give you and Harry some privacy to say what you need to." Then pointing to a spot several yards away, "I'll be over there waiting."

Harry wanted to grab his surrogate brother's hand, but refrained and watched him move away silently. He looked up to Sirius for guidance, "I don't know what to say to them."

"Whatever you want them to know about you. They adored you Harry. I had never seen James as happy as the day you were born although the day your mom agreed to go on a date with him came close. They loved you so much and Tsuna is right, they would have been so proud of you, kiddo. So don't worry about saying the right thing."

Harry nodded and leaned over placing his flowers next to Tsuna's before taking a step back. "Hello Mum and Dad. I'm sorry I've never visited before but I didn't know where you were. I doubt Sir and Ma'am would have brought me here anyway. To be honest I don't know what to say to you. I want to say I miss you, but I don't know if you can miss people you don't remember. I'm sorry about that. I'm sure though if I did remember, I would miss you real bad.

Everyone, especially Sirius, tells me that you were really nice and wonderful people. I wish I could have known you longer. I saw a statue of you guys. Mum was really pretty. She looks nothing like Ma'am, though I probably shouldn't say that because it's mean. But Tsuna-nii tells me I don't ever have to see Sir or Ma'am again. I'm glad for that. I didn't like living with them. They were not very nice. Tsuna-nii is much nicer.

Tsuna-nii told me that you died to protect me. Thank you for that. I wish you hadn't died though. I would have liked to see what it might have been like to have a mum and dad. I never had wanted one before since I don't think I'd want a mum and dad like Sir and Ma'am, but you two seem different than them.

I'm living with Tsuna-nii now and it's been really great. Some of Tsuna-nii's family is scary but, they are still more fun to be around than Sir and Ma'am. I love living with them and I hope you don't mind if I want to stay with them instead of with Ma'am since I know Ma'am is your sister, Mum. Tsuna-nii tells me that Lambo-nii is your cousin though you two never met. Lambo-nii is funny. He cries a lot but he's really tough and he always had some grape candy that he sometimes sneaks me. Fuuta-nii is really nice and calm though. I-pin-nee is also really nice even though Lambo-nii and her argue a lot.

I'll try very hard to be a good boy. I want Tsuna-nii to keep me. I really want you to be proud of me too. I hope I can come visit you again. Maybe I'll have other things to tell you then. I've only been living with Tsuna-nii for a few weeks, but it's been a lot of fun but a lot of hard work. It's different work than at Sir and Ma'am's house. I have to learn a lot of things. Reborn says that soon I'll be healthy enough to learn to fight. I've heard that fighting is a bad thing, but everyone in Tsuna-nii's family can do it so it must not be VERY bad. They look really cool doing it but it does look very scary.

Please watch over me. I'll work hard to make you proud."

When Harry turned questioning eyes to Sirius, the wizard gave him an encouraging smile and said, "That was good Harry, and I'm sure they are watching over you." Looking sadly at the gravestones Sirius asked his godson, "Would you mind going to Tsuna? I think I'd like to say a few things to your parents in private. I owe them a large apology, although not as large as the one I owe you for not taking care of you all these years."

"It's alright. I forgive you. It was tough living with Sir and Ma'am, but I'm okay and I'm living with Tsuna-nii now." Harry told his godfather with a sweet smile before he jogged over to where Tsuna stood.

Sirius watched the boy with a wistful smile. Harry was really a great kid and he looked forward to getting to know him better. His eyes met Tsuna's understanding ones as Harry seemed to be telling Tsuna his request. Tsuna's eyes darted to some shadows and seemed to say a few words before calling out, "I'm going to take Harry inside the church to warm up. Take you time."

Sirius nodded. As soon as the two had turned towards the church, Sirius plopped ungracefully onto the the ground by the graves. He laid his bouquet of flowers by the the other two, then drew his legs to his chest as he stared at the names of two of his closest friends engraved on the cold marble. "Hey James, Lily. You two probably hate me for how I've failed you and Harry. Can't say I blame you. I hate myself after Tsuna told me about all Harry seems to have lived through. I promised you two when you made me Harry's godfather that I would take care of Harry and make him my first priority. Selfish idiot that I was I promptly forgot that promise when it really mattered and chose vengeance over my responsibility. Lily is probably devising all sorts of hexes to use on me. Gotta say James you married one hell of a witch. No one could scare us straight as well as she could. When I do join you two, I'll submit myself to whatever punishments Lily has created for me.

I hope it won't be for a while though. I have a lot to atone for. I've received a second chance and I hope to use it to make things right by Harry. I don't know if Harry will ever truly trust me, but I'll certainly try. You have a great kid. From what I've seen he's definitely the best of both of you. Though I guess that means he gets almost everything from Lily. I'm joking, James. He's the spitting image of you but with Lily's lovely eyes. He's got both of yours smarts but he has Lily's compassion. Kid already forgives me for not being there for him as he was growing up even though he went through hell with Lily's sister and her family. You both would be so proud of him.

I'm sorry that you two aren't here to see him and I know it's all my fault. I should never have suggested Peter. His animagus form certainly should have clued me in on what he was really like. Who would have thought little Peter Pettigrew that was scared of blood would become a Death Eater? The little traitor was smart enough to even frame me for yours and his deaths too. I spent five years in Azkaban for his murder and he's not even dead. I failed at even avenging your deaths.

If I ever get the chance though, I swear I'll avenge you two. This time though I've learned my lesson. Harry will always be my first priority. I'll spend the rest of my life raising him and protecting him. Not like he really needs me though. Your kid has the luck of the devil. He gets abandoned in the cold by that disgusting whale your sister calls a husband and gets picked up by not just some random good Samaritan but by THE Vongola. Or maybe you two were watching out for your boy. Either way Harry and I both lucked out with Vongola finding him. I had heard of the Vongola before and they don't exactly have the reputation of being benevolent, but Tsuna...he's different. I get the feeling that despite the Vongola's reputation as Kings of the Underworld, Tsuna is probably one of the most honest and caring people anyone would have the privilege to meet. Makes you wonder how he became the head of the family. Regardless though, Harry managed to be found by the one person that is both kindhearted enough to take him in and powerful and influential enough in both worlds to protect him and spring me from Azkaban.

So don't worry. I'm pretty sure that even if I'm a hopeless failure, Tsuna will take care of Harry. I've met the other kids Tsuna's raised and they are good kids. If Harry grows up like them then he can be counted luckier than most. It's apparent they adore that man and he adores them. Harry already adores him and I can see why. Tsuna has already promised me that no matter what happens he will train Harry. If Harry learns to use the weird power the Vongolas have then honestly I can't see anyone being able to touch him, even old Snake-face.

Don't worry though, I don't plan on abdicating my responsibility. I'll teach him everything I know and throw everything I have behind Harry to protect him from Voldie and his Death Munchers and Dumbledore and his manipulations. In fact, I swear on my life and ma..." Sirius found his words cut off as the wind suddenly howled angrily and a firm cold hand clamped over his mouth as he raised his wand to take make an Unbreakable Vow.

"Don't do foolish and unnecessary things." An annoyed voice hissed in his ear. The hand released him after Sirius lowered his wand.

"How is this foolish and unnecessary?" Sirius asked offended though still in some slight shock. The man had appeared out of nowhere as far as Sirius could sense though he assumed, that he had been standing the the shadows of where Tsuna had been standing earlier.

"That type of vow will make you vulnerable and thus a liability. Tsunayoshi requested I keep you from doing something foolish. Tsunayoshi does not need more headaches." Hibari replied.

"How would swearing to make Harry my first priority make me vulnerable?"

"Figure it out yourself. Do not give Tsunayoshi more trouble. The Omnivore does not fight me at his best if he is worried about useless herbivores and that wastes my time." The skylark turned to head back to the tree he had been perched in before saying, "Finish up quickly. You are wasting my time."

Sirius gulped nervously but nodded. "Well James Lily. It's about time for me to go. I promise to bring Harry to visit you two again. Please continue watching over us. Even though I can't give you an Unbreakable Vow, I can still promise you to do my best with Harry. I'll make you guys proud of both of us."

The grieving man leaned over and kissed the tombstone reverently before getting back on his feet and heading towards the softly illuminated entrance of the church.

A.N. Reason why I had Hibari stop Sirius, was because if Sirius made that vow he would always put Harry's safety before his own whether it was necessary or not. Any enemies that knew about could too easily bait Sirius (like how Voldemort baited Harry to go to the DoM) and anyone that cared about Sirius or were his allies would suffer for it. It would mean Sirius would react first and think after or not think at all. Also the vow would be for life and would not be very good if Sirius ever had children. It would mean Sirius would put Harry over his own family and I doubt that would make Harry very happy once he grew up and understood that. It might even mean Sirius would disenfranchise his children to make Harry his heir.

Actually had meant to include more in this chapter which was completely not planned but once I started writing I decided was something that was absolutely necessary, except I got sick and I also started getting bored of writing. In order to get this out around Tsuna and Reborn's birthdays as promised I had to cut it short by a decently long scene. This chapter also has not been as thoroughly proofread as usual.

As usual thanks for the reviews and much love. One-thousand follows. I'm flattered.

I have no clue when I will update again.
