Einjeru Hatake... your review from a while back: The idea for Orochimaru having a daughter could be kind of neat, but considering cannon, I don't think I could do that story justice which is why your feedback was so instrumental in getting this story going again. (No spoiler there).

Quick AN: Sorry. I know it's been a while. Trying to breathe life back into these stories since I (Shinobi) lost interest in writing for a long time... but as you all can see, the stories are not dead.

No More Chances

Naruto raced to the Hokage training ground after a quick change of clothes. The sky dark, rain sprinkling down. His heart pounding, sweat covered face reveling in the cool rain. He didn't know what he would do, but the moment Gai and Hinata arrived, Naruto's eyes and heart hungrily called out for his wife. Not that it mattered. He would have shared his memories with her when the time was right after she grew into a woman. He would wait for her no matter the heartache, but he would die before he would allow her to be weak bodied for as long as she was in the original timeline. He needed her as strong as her very spirit would allow her to become. He would help her to strengthen her mind, body, and soul even if it meant breaking his own to make sure that happened.

Maito Gai and Hinata landed with a small thud, a large toad appeared seconds later, smaller than the back of the Hokage mountain, thus keeping that area hidden. Jiraiya jumped down, eyes sharp as he landed. Those same eyes highly focused on the boy who held the Kyuubi no yoko. Jiraiya feared what such a meeting would entail having gotten an emergency summons that 'required' him to request a reverse summons to Konoha.

Naruto had spun around immediately as he sensed the light, familiar step of 'his wife' Hinata. His eyes widened, and he carefully, prepared to ask something, but Hinata held up a finger to indicate waiting for a second. She then performed a jonin level dispel 'kai' release upon seeing Naruto's more ninja like apparel. Naruto grinned, but still held a stomach full of butterflies.

Naruto asked, "When is Konoha safe from a prankster's wrath?"

Hinata didn't wait to answer. She was upon Naruto within milliseconds as she quietly replied, "When a Hokage wears Orange."

After the two older shinobi eventually cleared their throats after watching two gennin hold onto each other for dear life, Jiraiya wanted to know what was going on, and so did Gai. Naruto glanced over and noticed the lost look on their faces. 'Thanks a lot, old man,' Naruto thought snidely.

"Seems as If the old man didn't brief you before you came here and was too much of a coward to come with you after our little chat," Naruto sighed. "Here's the long and short of it. Time travel is real. On a level of privacy that makes the fact that I hold the nine tails in my gut like a D-rank mission in comparison. I don't need you both to interrupt. Inoichi of the Yamanaka clan has already confirmed my story otherwise I would not be here. I'd be with Morino Ibiki in T and I. Myself, and a few others seemingly got shot through time after dealing with some double S class dirtbags. As for me. I am Namikaze Uzumaki Naruto. Rokudaime Hokage of the Village Hidden in the leaves... made so under not the best of circumstances. Tsunade, Godaime was killed protecting our home. I had to literally fight her to drag her back to be Hokage. I was young and very stupid. Let's not ask any more on that, please. Painful memories. Less than two hours ago, I killed Shimura Danzo for crimes he has committed against the leaf and against humanity in general... man if you can even call him that was a dick, that needed to be put down. I know you wanted the honor godfather, but we can discuss how I used the rasengan to end his bitch ass later. Now... Maito Gai... The Hokage sent you here for one reason, and only one reason."

Jiraiya was too stunned to speak. He too attempted to break some elaborate genjutsu. His own sensei said Naruto would tell him everything, and to believe him.

Curious and making sure to keep things in focus, Gai asked, "And that would be young Naruto?" Too shocked for his usual 'youthful' attitude.

"When Hinata and I were sent back, we were sent back to our very weak bodies, but we still retain the knowledge and skills of adults. We need to be trained into the ground, and quickly. We can use shadow clones and other advanced techniques to help get my chakra control back under control. We have very little time to get things in order before go very, very bad. And hime," Naruto turned back to Hinata.

"Do we need to deal with your clan again?" He asked with a deadly look in his eyes. "Because if we do, I am prepared this time. Far less bloodshed. But you know your grandfather will have to go, especially now that Danzo is figuratively six feet under."

"I may have stirred the pot a little since I didn't realize I was back immediately and fought a little 'too' ferociously. Neji and I knocked each other out. Now they know I am... competent."

The wind picked up, the trees swayed harder. Jiraiya's white hair flowing wildly while he continued to measure Naruto up.

Naruto turned back to Jiraiya and stated, "And I will need the Toad Contract again. Sage mode is a pain without it. I have almost made it stick without it, but nature chakra is wild and uncontrollable on the best of days. There is a war brewing on two fronts. One with the bastards who made all of this happen, and the Akatsuki who want the nine bijuu. Oh, wait... I forgot to mention... we know about those bit...individuals too. "

"Maybe we should try to get lady Tsunade to return as well." Hinata suggested. "We could really use her in our corner."

Naruto thought about it for a moment and then nodded his head in agreement.

All of this took place over ten minutes, and Jiraiya wished he stayed in bed this morning.

Two beautifully sunny days later Naruto and Hinata stood atop the Hokage Tower with a large group crowding. They were used to the antics of a hyperactive Naruto demanding attention. Most people ignored him, but again, Naruto was on a time crunch and was not giving one single solitary fuck this day.

He glared at the Sandaime Hokage who arrived with every intention of Stopping Naruto from doing what he was doing but opted not to go a step further before asking, "You know this won't end well if you try to reveal your heritage. Why cause this uproar when you aren't powerful enough to deal with it yet?"

Naruto, having been an established sensor cast his net wide to ensure no one attacked him, or Hinata as he turned and called out to the crowd of Ninja and civilians alike. "Good morning Konoha! A good deal of you know me as the so called 'demon,' or ignore me, or tell your kids to stay away from me. Well, here's a treat for you. I'm not the kyuubi dumb asses! For the few of you that didn't treat me like dirt, I am not talking to you. But to the rest of you morons, let me tell you a story...

- Twelve years ago, Minato Namikaze, and his beautiful wife Namikaze-nee UZUMAKI Kushina were to have a baby boy. The day that happened some dip spit decided to interrupt the birthing process. Well Kushina held the 9 tails before that and she was a beloved, and even kind of famous Kunoichi. And she was my MOTHER! For those of you who might be a little slow on the uptake, that makes the Yondaime Hokage MY father! He sealed the 9 tailed fox inside of me after it was CONTROLLED BY AN OUTSIDE INFLUENCE. I won't go into specifics as that is a bit more than my pay grade right now. But as I am the HOLDER of the fox, I thought I should clear that up. Now let me break it down even more for those who are still not getting this."

Naruto's anger was palpable, and his killing intent made people just as uncomfortable as his speech, but he wasn't done yet. He brought out a scroll and unsealed a water canteen and a glass of water. He then stated, "This example should prove a point for those of you paying close attention. Those who don't know much about the sealing arts then should be informative to you as well. Hokage-sama, are these different items?" Having dragged the Hokage into it so there would be no retconning the story later.

The Hokage's aged eyes drew in close, then he sighed, and reluctantly agreed. What the Hokage hadn't realized was that Naruto set up seals throughout the village to carry his voice and those of anyone near him when he spoke while holding the sister seal, sort of like a one way walkie talkie.

"Well ladies and gentlemen and children of all ages, the water is a representation of the Kyuubi." Naruto pours the water in the canteen then continued. "The water is now in the canteen. I represent the canteen. So that MEANS, I CANNOT BE THE KYUUBI. I am not the water. BUT let's break this down just a little bit more. You all are worried the Kyuubi will get out and run wild. WELL... Here the canteen's top. That is represented by a seal. A seal to keep something in place and locked down. Now that the top is on the canteen the water can't get out. If people keep trying to destroy the canteen, or more specifically the SEAL, they might release the Kyuubi. So you idiots can stop calling me demon. I'm sorry if you lost someone in the attack, but that is not my fault, and I won't put up with your BS. Also, for those who want to test that theory, I am currently taking on private lessons from Konoha's Taijutsu Master, Maito Gai, and the Toad Sage of the Sannin, Jiraiya. Oh, and the lord Sandaime will be helping me too."

The annoyed Sandaime glared, but was heard by everyone when he said, "I never agreed to that last part." Naruto simply replied, "To bad. You screwed up too much and now it's time for me to get trained up so I can take that hat and I plan on you turning it over by the Chunin exams. I'll be strong enough by then, and you know I can back that up." He turned back around and grasped Hinata's hand and yelled out, "Also, Lord Hyuuga, I wish for an audience at your leisure sir!"

The respect surprised everyone. The running thought among almost everyone was, 'Uzumaki Naruto had officially lost his mind...' or 'This is one mass fever dream.'

Naruto glanced down to his and Hinata's 'beastly' new master who nodded. Naruto vanished alongside Hinata in a puff of smoke after Naruto caught a glance of Hyuuga Hiashi gave a stern nod. Anyone crazy enough to pull what he just did was telling the truth and had balls of steel. The many Hyuuga who were in the gathered crowd had their byakugan active as well. Not even the slightest hint of deception. He, Hiashi didn't necessarily hate the boy at this point in time, but the fact that Hinata was by his side was... concerning.

Once Naruto, Hinata and Gai arrived back at the training grounds, Jiraiya and Hiruzen arrived in short order. Jiraiya looked at his sensei then gave a sigh before pulling out the Toad summoning contract. Naruto's eyes focused on the scroll then looked up at Jiraiya.

Jiraiya asked with far more seriousness than was his usual fare, "Are you planning on having your lady sign as well?"

Naruto looked at Hinata who stayed silent. She would accept the honor, but not ask for it. Naruto on the other hand gave a single nod.

Jiraiya, concerned was about to warn Naruto, but he was stopped by said blonde, "She knows of the chakra requirements. She won't try to summon anyone beyond Gamakichi's size for now until her chakra is where it needs to be."

Jiraiya's mouth nearly drops again as even he had only utilized Gamakichi twice at this point in time. any reluctance he had was slowly evaporating.

Naruto and Hinata pierced their fingers with a kunai, and signed the contract which Jiraiya spread across the ground in blood.

Hinata grabbed Naruto's hand and then stepped back as Naruto got a malicious smirk as he said to Jiraiya, "I knew Gamabunta didn't want to be summoned for a while... but..."

Jiraiya got a small knot in his stomach as he thought, 'There's no way!'

Naruto did the requisite hand seals after drawing a little blood. He said aloud, "Oi Kurama, Let's show them how Konoha's most unpredictable ninja rolls with the might of one of the sons of the sage of the Six Path. The nine tailed fox! Kuchiyose no Jutsu!" as he slammed his hand on the ground.
